  That's what I get on my ThinkPad when I try to do the networking. I placed all the parameters correctly: all 3 of my computers are set the same. 2 workstations work perfectly. They can even see the laptop but not to open all files. The laptop can, open same network t itself file. But he can see the whole of the network (including a printer, is told by the way). I, ve gone through all parameters twice. I've even set the C drives to share via the menus of context on each computer. I have visited many forums with none even come close to this problem (they all will tell you how to set the network parameters or they get very technical and over my head).

  I tried with & without a firewall.

  No password.

  I use a wired network.

  Laptop & 1 desktop computer running vista - 1 desktop computer running xp.

  They have all the latest service packs ms & udates.

  Any help will be appreciated.

  These files can be opened by norton or lenovo network setting apps. The settings do not work only in the application of network of vista. Nor can I work norton or lenovo from other computers.

  I tried new drivers & returned through sharing & permissions, according to Jack, but he was not good. At the level of experience of my computer I can miss something obvious, but I doubt it because I've been very careful in following the instructions.   Problem solved.  Realized that I am trying to connect to the wrong ip address.  Should be to connect to the host ip addr and not the ip address of the virtual machine.

  If all goes well a quick question, I am trying to connect a VPN client that is located behind a firewall at a remote PIX server using RADIUS authentication. I am able to ping remote IP of VPN server, but cannot connect - errors are "peer remote unresponsive" for UDP and "has not established TCP connection" for TCP.

  I just bought a printer HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M577z MFP Flow. It has capabilities of wireless printing. So far, I was able to connect wirelessly to one of my MacBook Pro computers, but only by having the printer create an Ad - hoc network that allows up to 5 devices to connect to the printer. But that of not what I want because every computer should manually disconnect the Wi - Fi network, connect to the Ad hoc network, the print job and then reconnect to the Wi - Fi network whenever a print job is required. It is very difficult and frustrating.

  What I would like is striking is the printer act like a network printer by wireless connection to my Time Capsule. I can't connect the printer to the USB port of time Capsule because they are far away from each other, and I don't want to use cables throughout my place.   I have an Epson printer, so some of my experiences may or may not apply.

  I also have a time Capsule, and my printer and Time Capsule are far apart.

  My current configuration looks exactly what you are looking for: a wireless network provided by Time Capsule than all my Apple devices to a wireless connection, and my printer connects to the same wireless network.

  When I first bought the Epson printer, I needed to connect it to the Capsule of time via a USB port.  This sounds as if it were true for you as well.  So, for this very short period. I moved the printer via the USB port next to the printer, the connected Time Capsule, made the setup and then the printer recognized my standard wireless network.  I've returned to steady state, which I use now, with the printer and the far (actually on different floors) Time Capsule.

  I have the following configuration:

  Mini Mac (i5, El Capitan) - HDMI--> B & W Panaroma 2-(HDMI)--> Samsung TV

  I'm mainly Plex Home Theater running on the Mac mini and control everything with a Logitech Harmony Hub via Bluetooth.

  I recently installed at El Capitan from scratch on the Mac mini - for this by adding a mouse and a keyboard.

  Once installed, I made sure the remote screen works fine, detached from the mouse and keyboard and used builtin VNC ("screen sharing") on my Macbook to connect the Mac mini-> works like a charm.

  Now the problem is: as soon as I disconnect my connection VNC, the TV screen (or the HDMI port Mac mini also) will Dim. Only to come back as soon as I have vnc in the Mac mini again.

  I had this work without problems with Yosemite until I've updated / fresh install...

  Any ideas? I searched the internet, but nobody seems to have a similar problem.

  If you do not need to run the virtual machine in different VLAN, then you don't need to configure a lot of things about the physical switch. Make sure only allow multiple MAC addresses on each port (switchport mode access) and covering the whole tree portfast.

  Configure vSwitch with uplinks 3 and you're ready. ESX will assign uplink in a responsive manner, because the virtual machines are powered on (default: route based on the source port id).
