LV program with Windows Rights

OK so I have this problem.

When a program I've done will run on a windows network admin accout (ENG), but I also have another account admin (PCK) on the network with the same rights on the same pc. file LV, it's the same for both users of the network however when I run the program on the ENG account it works perfect, but when I run the same program on the PCK account it gives me a "file not found error" I'll post once I'm able (they read in the configuration of the machine of the same .ini files located on the C:\ By car)

So - rights are the same mapped drives are the same, configuration and depenencies files are the same, the programs are the same. and at some point, these two accounts worked with this program. Any ideas, what has changed or may have caused this and how to fix it?

No changes to the network took place either

Thank you, Da-code

Just solved the question, once the reset of all rights, for network users and a bunch of other things it turns out that some how the word has added a '2' part of the shortcut in windows.

but thanks for the good advice, I checked those.

Thanks, Da-code

  • Impossible to install programs with Windows Installer error

I use a 32-bit version of Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 2 and I have problems with the update of Windows Installer, which in turn affects my attempt to install other programs. I tried to get the Windows Installer redistributable version but end upward with a message that the "update is not for my system.

    Hi William,.

    ·        What is the exact error that you receive when you try to install the program?

    ·        Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·        You did changes to the computer before this problem started?

However, you can follow the steps below and check if that helps you install the programs on your computer.

    Step 1

You can check if the windows service install is set to automatic and started and change accordingly. After verification test to check if you can uninstall iTunes and reinstall. To do this, follow the steps below:

    (a) click Start.

    (b) in the start search box type services.msc and press enter

    (c) in the services window, do scroll down to Windows install.

    (d) make a right click on it and click Properties.

    (e) check if the startup type is set to automatic, otherwise it is set to automatic.

    (f) click the Start button, this will start the installation of windows services.

(g), click on apply and Ok.

    Step 2

If the steps above do not help, you can unregister and re-register the windows service installed on your computer and check if that helps you solve the problem.

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. click on the Start menu, click on run.
    (b) in the Open box, type msiexec /unreg and then press ENTER.
    (c) in the Start menu, click run.
    (d) in the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Not able to access another program with Windows Management Framework Core

Original title: what is Windows Management Framework Core, do I need?

I am not able to access another program because of the 33 sidebyside error.  The problem seems to relate to Microsoft.VC80.MFC according to the detailed event log message.  When I try to launch my accounting software, it indicates the activation context generation failed.  The only other thing that I have to go on is the date Management Framework Core has been installed and when I could access is no longer my other program.

I was able to locate a system preparation tool KB947821 to Microsoft Downloads. It is a solution for x 86, x 64 and other operating systems for downloading updates.  After I installed it I went to the Panel of control under programs, put my software disc in the drive, it said to fix it himself and it now works like a charm!  I strongly recommend to anyone with this problem after installing updates get this program.

If you use a browser to access your e-mail, it is the question.  You can set a default e-mail application if you have an e-mail application and the browser is NOT a messaging software.

Install an e-mail client and it will work, and that's why it worked on XP because you probably had Outlook express installed.

  • Windows Virtual XP, Windows 7 Ultimate, will work with Windows 8 or 8.1?

I bought Windows 7 Ultimate, because I need the virtual Windows XP to run a program that will not install in Windows 7. If I update to Windows 8 or 8.1, the virtual Windows XP always will be installed? If this isn't the case, I can't reinstall virtual Windows XP program with window 8 or 8.1?

Windows XP Mode (which I believe refer you to-a virtual machine running a licensed copy of Windows XP offered by Microsoft for Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate users) does not work in Windows 8/8.1.  It is not included, nor does it work at all.

If you have even an application that cannot be improved or modified or used in compatibility mode for a reason you must run under Windows XP (or other older operating systems) - then you need a copy under unused to this older operating system license and you can create your own machine using one of the many virtual (VirtualBox comes to mind) virtual machine management.

I have a Dell with Windows XP Home Edition system that uses the internet connection. Use above message for intense and thorough check for malware.

To restore the ability to run any .exe programs.

1 make a Restore Point so that you can come back if necessary back although probably not required.

    Hello

always check the compatibility of vista programs on the link below

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/default.aspx

If a program is compatible with vista you can try right click on the setup.exe, and then selecting run as administrator

It is not compatible with vista, you can try running it in a previous operating system mode

This does not work for all programs

If this is not Vista compatible, read the info on the link above.
It works for some programs, but not all.

This applies to software programs, NOT hardware drivers.

If it's Vista compatible > uninstall it > Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on the setup.exe > run as admin.

  • Access denied on a "documents and settings" folder in windows 7 with administrator rights

I get access denied on the ' c: \documents and settings "in windows 7 with administrator rights.  The icon shows a small lock on the (very cute) folder. Permissions indicate full control to the folder. I can only access the contents of the folder by adding it to the library folder. The computer is fairly recent and is very near of the original factory. Unlike my precious computers I left it mostly original except for the odd new program. I never really noticed when it pops up as I was getting used to format windows 7 and thought that it must be "the new way" to 7 " The disk has been partitioned by Asus, which significantly added to the confusion. Now I think that it why documents and settings would be in the same folder anyway?  What is a level administrator uber folder? Any ideas greatly appreciated.

"Documents and Settings" are not a folder - it's a junction Point.

It is there to allow legacy applications using the latest Windows 7 folder structure.

There is nothing in what you can use.

Whenever I select the open with option after right clicking on a file type and try to select a program from the list after clicking Browse; the new program does not appear in the list and tried to open the file type remains in the setting of the unknown file type. How to tackle this problem, I am using windows 7

    Hi Priya,

    1. is the issue limited while accessing any program in particular?

    2. what happens when you try to access the program directly?

This problem may occur if the parameters of the program files are corrupted.

Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

Refer to the steps in the following Microsoft article.

Change the programs that Windows uses by default

Change default programs using Set Program Access and computer defaults

    Method 2:

I suggest you to scan Run System File Checker (SFC) tool and check if this may help.

Steps to perform a scan SFC:

un) Click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow

    (b) type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

[The command sfc /scannow. analysis of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.]

Once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

    SFC Scan - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Keep us informed on the status of the issue.
