LV2013 not recognize the Windows CE device
An interesting problem, this morning after that works correctly throughout the day yesterday, my 2013 LV on XP suddenly decided that it did not recognize the Touch Panel Windows CE 5.0 Device as a device supported. He worked very well all the rest of the week and suddenly decided to not work.
LV and the tactile module licenses are all up to date and correct, Activesync 4.5 recognizes the device and allows to browse its folders. Is this just a problem of compatibility between Windows CE and LV2013 or what? Any help much appreciated.
Hello
What would be the reason? Check the note which States that the Module LabVIEW 2012 SP1 Touch Panel is the last version to support WinCE devices.

Windows Vista does not recognize the removable storage device
ISSUE INITIAL 2010-03-03)
Here's the scenario:
1. Insert the card compact flash.
2 computer recognizes the removable storage (that is, it is assigned a drive letter and appears in disk management).
3. use the icon remove the device safely in the taskbar to stop the machine to remove safely.
4. remove the card compact flash.
5. Insert the compact flash card.
6. the computer does not recognize removable storage (that is, it is not assigned a drive letter and does not appear in disk management). The only way I can get windows to recognize the drive is to restart my computer. How can I get windows recognize the drive without having to reboot? This problem does not occur with USB flash drives.
Windows Vista Hame Premium, 64-bit, Service Pack 2 operating system
UPDATE (04/03/2010):
I have more information, I hope this helps to reach a solution.-J' repeated the steps above 1 to 3, with open Device Manager. In step 3, in the Device Manager window, the icon for the question USB mass storage device becomes the exclamation point in yellow triangle icon. Check its properties on the tab "General", in the "Device status" box, it says: "Windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been established for"safe removal", but it has not been removed from the computer. (Code 47) IX this problem, disconnect the device from your computer and then reconnect it. Click on 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available. »
-J' then removed the card and rest of the error state.
-J' I re inserted the card, and rest of the error state.
-J' I then tried to update the driver by accessing the tab "driver", click on "Update driver", click on "Automatically search for an updated driver", and the result was "the best driver for your device is already installed."I found the solution on this hp web page:
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?DocName=bph07910&tmp_task=solveCategory&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&product=3876397&lang=en#N1074Basically, it says NOT to use the function "remove the device safely. Instead, just right-click on the drive in the Solution Explorer, then choose "Eject". Works perfectly.
Some excerpts...
"Memory card readers are devices that use the icon remove the device safely in the notification area in the taskbar). Do not click stop in the window, remove the device safely. Doing so can disconnect the card memory reader for Windows. In this case, restart the computer to reset the memory card reader. »
"An alternative to the restart of the computer is to use the option optimize for fast moving functionality in Windows. -

I made sure that my Finder preference displays drives and external drives. I tried to see if would recognize a DVD and it does.
I was hoping to save my data to be transferred to a new Mac.
Any help will be appreciated
Hello amfisher,
Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!
If I understand correctly, you are unable to see your new external drive to an iMac 2009. I'll be happy to try to help with this.
So that your iMac to see it, it may be necessary to reformat the drive. The best format for use with your Mac's OS X Extended (journaled).
Format an external hard drive for use with a Mac
- Connect the hard drive to a USB port on your Mac.
- Open disk utility.
- On the left side of the disk utility window, select your external drive (or one of its partitions).
- Click the delete or delete button on the toolbar.
- On the Format menu, choose Mac OS extended (journaled).
- Type a name for your drive, and then click clear.
- After that the drive is deleted, close the disk utility window.
This should allow you to copy files to the disc.
Your computer has software called Time Machine. It is a fantastic software for backing up your computer. Information on how to use Time Machine is available here:

Bootcamp does not recognize the Windows 7 installation DVD
Hi guys,.
I've never had a problem installing Windows 7 via bootcamp on my Mac, but it seems an impossible feat, right now! :))
I have a Windows 7 bootable *.iso, but since I'm on 2010 Macbook Pro, I have to burn it to a DVD and install from there (I can't find the disk of valuable facilities).
It is, every time that I burn it, it does not get recognized as a bootable DVD with bootcamp and not appear as a boot disk in the selection screen, you need to keep alt right after the startup chime.
I tried at different speeds (2 x, 4 x, 8 x). I tried to convert the image using disk utility and selection of DVD/CD master and burning at different speeds.
I'm in two DVD and I don't know what to do :) I've got El Capitan installed (so less disk utility options).
Please help! :))
Martin
This latest DVD Virgin and it worked! BUT dig this error I had!
Boot Camp only supports 64-bit Windows 8 installation. Please use a Flash DRIVE or a DVD that contains 64-bit Windows 8.
WHAT? !!! Even though it says to install Windows 7 or a later version?
I want to punch someone who works for Apple now!

Security Center does not recognize the Windows Security Essentials
Windows Security Essentials does not seem to register with Security Center. Security Center reports that no Virus protection is enabled.
1. I installed Windows XP 32 - bit WGA, activated the product and updated to SP3.
2 security Center starts giving Windows security alerts for Virus protection, because none has been installed.
3. I installed McAffee VirusScan.
4 security Center stopped giving Windows security alerts for Virus protection.
5. I uninstalled McAffee VirusScan.
6 security Center has resumed giving Windows security alerts for protection against the viruses as before.
7. I installed Windows Windows Security Essentials and rebooted.
8. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Windows Security Essentials with no joy.
Windows Security Essentials installation did not prevent Windows security alerts. No Windows Security Essentials registry entry will appear in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Security Center and monitoring. If Microsoft consider essential security to be an antivirus product, then how to Windows Security Essentials register with Security Center?
I understand that this is an information and alert issue only. I understand that Windows Security Essentials works actually ok. I am particularly concerned by the reports. It conditions my deployment of Windows Home Server. Deactivation of surveillance or the alert is not a solution, just a poor quality work around.
In a previous thread, the author of this question even abandoned and has not requested additional assistance. An explanation was given (relevant for Windows 7), but no solution has been offered. Windows XP has not been addressed. http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-security/the-Security-Center-has-not-recorded-an-anti-virus/15ae2383-7ced-4850-A863-f7eb8cc90ee5
I had the same problem for a while now (I'm on xp) and have searched the Internet for a solution but found nothing at the moment.

Finder does not recognize the SD under devices
The sd card is in contrast to see like a folder under Macbook pro (2). Strange, it is that the sd card has been recognized in the app Foto and Fotolader as well, I hope you have a solution for my problem.
Vrager,
I noticed that some SD cards do not appear in the finder, but will be recognized by applications like photos and picture Capture. Is this by any chance a formatted card GoPro? If it is the case that I've been able to view and download its contents using the rest of the GoPro, transfer of images or Photos. They do not appear in the finder for some reason any.

1. you have any third-party burning software installed on your computer?
2. have you checked if the external CD drive works on another computer?
I suggest that you check if your internal CD-ROM drive is detected in the BIOS.
Usually, you must press a key (for example, F2, F12, DEL, ESC) or a key combination whenever you turn on your computer, but before I get to the BIOS to start Windows. Check to see if there is the CD/DVD drive in the BIOS.
You can see the article for more information about the BIOS:

Regarding the external CD/DVD drive, I suggest you see if it works on another computer.

Windows 7 does not recognize the installation discs
Hello
I have a problem, and I don't know if there is a solution, but here goes.
My laptop is a HP DV6-7029WM Windows 7, 64 bit.
The hard drive was dead, and he was replaced last month. I sent it to HP. C is the hard drive, and was originally the recovery on D. Removable media were on E, and when I connected a USB stick or memory card reader it would on F.
When I came back, hard drive was on C as it was originally, and there was no recovery drive D. D is now my removable media drive. When I put in a USB stick or a memory card reader, which is now on the E drive.
After I bought this, I put the recovery on a USB key, but I've accidentally thrown out. (My mistake) So I ordered the installation diskettes after that I return my HP PC. I had 2 DVD system recovery disks and an Application and a recovery DVD Drivery.
I want to reinstall Windows back to the default settings. I put disc 1 (System Recovery DVD) and close. I reboot and it goes directly to the office. I hear the whirring disc, but nothing happens.
I go to the control panel > Recovery > advanced retrieval methods. I click on restart, and it loads files and then says DVD set, which I do. He told me that he does not recognize the installation disc.
I googled this problem and found a poster on CNET that had the same problem as I do. Also, I can't do a system restore. My problem is the same as this poster on CNET. I can read DVDs and CDs. Those that work very well.
http://forums.CNET.com/7723-19411_102-568059/Windows-7-installation-disc-not-recognized/
The files are on the DVD, because I see them.
I don't know what to do. Should I send my PC back? Can I do to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hello:
With recovery disc 1 into the DVD drive, restart the computer and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, press the ESC key to display a menu of options.
Select the F9 boot menu option.
Select the DVD drive on the list of bootable devices, and press the Enter key.
Watch the screen for additional instructions.
