LWS CS6 product activation problem

Hello

Since the release of the CS6 products we struggle to activate on our corporate network. We always get a connection error saying that the software could not contact the activation server.

When you use an internet without our firewall between the two normal/direct connection, it works. So, there's probably a port or a Web site that is blocked by our firewall. Unfortunately we were still not able to find out who this could be.

So what I want to know, it's the web address and the port that must be open on the firewall for the activation of products from the Adobe LWS site.

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Well, that's what I said, but of course, I can post it here also:

To activate the software please white list these ports:

    Hello

I am trying to install a number of copies of the CS6.

Everything was fine until a laptop wouldn't play ball. I went through the offline activation process, received my response Code, complete the activation. I then clicked on "Start" and it just brought me back to the activation page. I uninstalled, re-installed using another series of WIN number and exactly the same thing happened.

  • Windows 8 upgrade - product activation problem

    Hello

I recently bought Windows 8 and went through the upgrade wizard activation process. My problem is I wanted to go on Windows XP 32 bit for Windows 8 64 but I realized too late (i.e. after I completed the installation of Windows 8) that I can't do and I found myself with 8 32-bit Windows installed on my computer.

Now I formatted my C drive and installed a copy of Windows 7 ultimate (64-bit version) and was thinking through the again Upgrade Wizard to migrate to 64-bit Windows 8. But I have to pay for this upgrade or my previous product code will be valid? I do not need or want the 32 but the version that I have the ability to run 64-bit on my computer.

If I have to pay for it, I think I can stay as well on Windows 7. Is there a solution to this?

Simply make the upgrade to Windows 8 64-bit using your product existing key and reactivate by phone:

You can download it from there and use your product key to upgrade:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-GB/Windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only

    1. press the Windows key + X , and then clickrun, and then type: slui.exe 4

    2. then press the ENTER"" key.

    3. Select your "country" in the list.

    4. choose the option "activate phone".

    5. stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    Hello les1helen,

If you get a message that the product key is already in use then the next step is to use telephone activation. See this link from my Web site: http://vistasupport.mvps.org/product_key_already_in_use.htm

    Hello

Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft Community.

If you receive an error indicating that your product key is not valid when installing Windows 7, it could be for the following reasons:

    a. you can did your product key. Try having to retype.

    b. you may use a product key that does not match the version of Windows Vista that is installed on your computer. Check the product key to ensure that it is for the version that you are trying to activate.

    Hi Verisetti,

Have you installed security software after formatting windows?

If so, you can uninstall the security software temporarily and check if you receive the access violation error.

If the uninstallation of security software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the software of safety accordingly. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: Make sure that you install the security software after the trial.

What about Windows vista product ID, you can try to validate Windows and check if it helps.

  • Can I reinstall the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional on a new hard drive without any problem of product/activation key?

Recently, my hard drive crashed and could be damaged, because I can not install anything on this subject.

I still have the CD of Windows XP Professional that has been used to upgrade to Windows 7.
So, if I buy a new hard drive and install XP first and then upgrade to windows 7. I'll be able to
to do this without side windows activation problems.
Or do I have to buy a new drive for windows?
PS: Is it important that it is the version of Windows 7 professional student discount?
    Thank you.

If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. No previous required software installation, which means you can do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade disk.

How to do a clean install with upgrade disc:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Click on drive Options

Select the disc/s click on Delete

    Click new

    Click on apply

    Click OK

Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click the link x days before activation.

Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

Select the Activation of the phone

Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

Click Next, call the number listed

Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent

They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it

Click next to complete the activation.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • Activation problem. Don't know what to do.

    Hello

My Question is: Adobe may disable "Creative Suite 6' in my account, in order to disable it from my PC just died on me almost 12 hours after activating my product? I have to call?

I feel sick about it after money, I just spent and don't want to lose one of my activations.

I didn't know where else to post this. I have exceeded just the Premiere Elements and have recently entered into DSLR video and decided to upgrade the editing software. Due to being very sick and likley have to renounce the work in the coming year, I made the decision continue to go with the older 'Creative Suite 6 Production Premium' (Windows) subscribe to the Coud Creative - that my income (or lack of) would probably not lend themselves for the next few years and beyond.

I installed my premium Production CS6 Thursday, active, and he enrolled in my Adobe account. I then downloaded an update and then immediately tinkered around with some changes in Premiere Pro. I went back on my PC later and then had a look around After Effects. No issues what so ever.

However, by putting my PC running later (computer desktop - Windows 7 - HP i5, 3.00 Ghz - 6 GB of RAM), it does not start and crashes on the HP splashcreen. When you press ESC, F1, F10 and same F8 (safe mode) it simply changes the screen to a black screen with basic details of my PC to this topic. It will not even start another hard drive that I have from another machine with Windows 7 above. Troubleshooting, I even tried a fresh new hard drive in it with a new copy of Windows to be installed in the CD Rom and it will still not past the splashscreen HP - what is abnormal, because usually, he detects the CD and installs. Furthermore, fans in the PC work, as the eject the power of the PC CD ROM light is on too. I tried different sata/data cables, another monitor input, all to nothing does not.

Surely, it is a hardware problem and is a coincidence that it took place on the CS6 facility - which should be good? Note: Downloaded from Adobe.

One help me out of this nightmare would be much appreciated. In addition, advice on my question to toggle would be great too.

  • Installation of a HARD drive bigger to an old A120 - any size or XP activation problems?

Satellite Pro A120 WCC PSA - 007009EN, 1.46ghz GHz Celeron M 410. Present HDD - Fujitsu MHV 2060BH PL (according to Belarc Advisor)

This old machine still works perfectly, and I think the installation of a hard drive over to dual-boot Linux with the existing XP (Home edition).

    (1) anyone know what size hard drive can be adapted to this model? I had a glance on the Toshiba site, but can't find anything for this other than the manual model rather vague.

    (2) is it likely to be difficulties with the annoying "genuine advantage" em / the product activation process? Ideally, I would like to use Macrium reflect to the image of the current installation, and then write the image to the new hard drive. Although using the product recovery CD could give a new installation in nice, it would be convenient to avoid having to reinstall applications, get rid of the Norton AV 90 days etc. The only other product of MS on the machine is 'A Note,' that came with the computer and is very useful. (And "reactivated" which easily when I started to use the machine after the former owner had reinstalled from the product recovery disc.)

    (3) anyone know where free online manuals for old Toshibas? According to my first question - I find the user manual lacking in useful detail and can find nothing useful for the Toshiba archives. (I'll also post a query on a 430 old - if I could find a source of information, this would save me to barely have advisers useful forum more often that it is absolutely necessary!)

My apologies if I'm slow to respond to all posts. I need to get out, but you come back tonight in case anyone has any suggestions.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi tryagain.
-for your first problem (hard drive size), try a 160 GB drive, it should work (your current drive is a 60 GB?) but also 320 GB should work
in my possession, I found if a 60 GB HDD runs on a larger controller also works...
-for the second (installation of win), you can avoid activating windows again by cloning your system on new hard drive
There are tools available free clone that you can use
-for the last one (manual for old Toshibas) there is a point 'archive' choose in the download area where 'real old' operating manuals can be downloaded,
but I think you're looking for more information to dismantle your machine - I can't find anything like that also...
but good! No not guaranteed - no a cry... for your 430 ;-)

  • Activation problem after build self repair

Just had to replace my motherboard (and, therefore, the processor and RAM). On the initial start-up after reconstruction windows said that there was significant changes to the system and required wake-up. Windows does not accept my product key. What has changed are the processor, RAM and motherboard. Hard drive is still the original that I have installed XP on to. Advice please

The change of motherboard is which has activation problem. If you have an OEM version of Windows XP that is preinstalled, so you will not be able to activate as all OEM versions are linked to the first computer / motherboard, it is installed on. However if you have a "Full" version of the retail try then the phone activation.

Before this last test, I restarted my computer several times out of desperation that can be restart will fix it. But I think I'm out of luck. Something else that my internet is running @100 % navigation, streaming and downloading are very well at max speed.

Please someone help me in this case.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Kind regards.

What kind of "odd behaviour" has been exposing your system that made you decide to restore?

How long lasts your McAfee subscription, and when she did start?

Before restoring the factory settings, your McAfee product had been registered and activated with success?

If so, connect to your McAfee account on the link below using the email address and the password that you used initially when the first record.

    https://home.McAfee.com/secure/protected/login.aspx?

Click the Subscription & Product tab, you see your subscription listed McAfee?
