• Satellite Pro A300-1E7 - cannot start the cam software

  I bought the Satellite Pro A300-1E7.

  I used the Zonealarm happened and I was not really satisfied, because this software locked everything and most of the applications didn't work properly even after the new configuration! Finally, I removed this software and I noticed more advantage. my laptop starts much faster!
  I think this software would lock the cam software too.

  But to be sure, check in Control Panel-> Software (Add & Remove Programs) if the webcam is installed.

  I have the internal cam of Chicony too and it s works well as part of the software Skype. I didn't test t MSN but I don t see serious reasons why it shouldn't t work.

  In my view, you must first remove the zonealarm. Then clean the OS using CCleaner. Finally, redownload the webcam software and reinstall it!

  The toolbar of the webcam is not always visible on the desktop.
  It seems that if you move it the mouse cursor to the place where the webcam tool bar was hidden.

  I bought this month a return of the United Kingdom L450D. Yesterday I tried to install the Olympus digital camera software, but once installed would not work. Olympus site application is compatible with Windows 7, but I decided to uninstall the software. I wonder if I uninstalled something I shouldn't, because does not now.

  Problem is cursor will respond not with the touchpad. A couple of times without reply, tried FN + F9. Mouse connected, cursor moves but will not meet the comand

  Hmm you have tried to uninstall the software in safe mode? Go to the advanced boot menu (F8), select Safe mode. Then try to uninstall the usual Olympus software.

• Windows will not start since the attempt to install the camera software?

  Hello, I tried to install the camera software, when I did it said my computer to shut off and re satart to complete the installation, when I did a blue screen came up saying that windows had been shut down to protect my computer (not this one). He says to re start computer I did who bought the safe mode/start windows normally screen etc, but nothing's going to restart windows, it starts at, then returns to the blue screen again.   I suggest you to try and initiate the last known good configuration. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  I suggest to do a restore of the system from the recovery console and check if you are able to boot to the desktop without any problem. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

  We connected via Garland of precision 1080 p HD camera. We want to make the software upgrade for the same thing on the network.

  I found the document for the same thing, mentioning the camera software ftp transfer. But where I can load the file of the software (.pkg) camera.

  Can I use same file software to transport CANADA (TC 5.1.5 .pkg) for the upgrade of the camera files. Some body please help me.

  I've never tried the ethernet upgrade procedure, but I think the package that needs to be loaded via an ftp client for the camera which got an IP via DHCP is the package located at mnt/base/active/rover.pkg. Copy this package to a system which has installed the ftp client and that has IP connectivity to the camera.

  To check that your device is indeed a 'Rover' camera, you can run the following command.

• Reinstall the Web Cam software

  My web cam software/driver just mysterious disappears from my hard drive and I can't reinstall it unless I have reinstall the OS.  Is there another place I can get a copy of the web cam software and the driver so I can use my built in webcam?  I don't know what triggers it.  I just noticed that is no longer available when I go to the for use and Manager of my web cam says please plug in a supported device.  Any help would be appreciated.

  I want to record the actions of the encoding and insert them in my webhelp project. Here are the steps I followed:
  1 double-click on the video camera software
  Video camera software opens
  2. set the capture area
  
  The help says I should click on the ' save' button once this has been done. However, the button record / stop appear dimmed and Iam unable to take screen captures. am I missing something?

  Not only the Camera Assistant Software works is no longer (a message that says "corona\start_bg.bmp not could be opened" appears), but the pilot isn't the case to be found and I can't uninstall the Camera Assistant Software.

  New poster today seems my CD/DVD drive has stopped working, tried to install the software for the new camera, just get blue screen and a small disc flashing, seems that there is no power in the drive.

  I have download the Karspersky antivirus 2009 and I install on my Toshiba Satellite A200-gs1 psaece
  He acknowledged the cec_main.exe as virus and block...
  I put it in the exclusion list, it does not continue the works, and when I started my laptop it said «cannot run cec_main.exe...» ».

  I remove the program and install it again I ve put again to the exclusion list.

  Here is the cure:
  Probably a good idea to go to Toshiba and download the latest version of the software for the camera to your computer. Do not open this software. Go to the control panel and remove the existing camera Assistant software. Open the Kaspersky software and click settings then click threats and exclusions under the Options tab. Click on the zone of confidence. Click on approved Applications. If CEC_MAIN.exe exists, delete it. Restart the computer.
  May be a good idea to delete your internet cable because we do a right-click on the Kaspersky shortcut and click PROTECTION of PAUSE. This is a must! Probably best to set for a 10 minute break. Close this menu and then open Kaspersky. Go to settings > threats and Exclusions > Trusted Zones > objects > Add + > and type in manually or copy and paste the following text exactly as shown below:

  C:\Program Camera Assistant Software for Toshiba\CEC_MAIN.exe

  exclusionary rules, to allow CEC_Main.exe to be a trusted application. Then reinstall the software assistant camera. Kaspersky should always be in pause mode, but will let you know maybe CEC_MAIN.exe to contain a virus.
  Ignore, but look for the option on this same screen that will allow you to add this as a trusted application. It's the key to this... Kaspersky should be paused during the reinstallation of the software. Once you tell Kaspersky to add this as a trusted application, your installation should be completed. REBOOT and the problem is over.

  I was visiting Opinion Outpost today when I got several popup messages on their system in vain trying to activate my webcam remotely.  I keep a post-it on my webcam, of course, but am worried now that this company may have installed access the camera remotely on my computer. Does anyone know what I would look for, and where, on my computer? Is there a software specially designed to search for the webcam hacks distance?

  Opinion Outpost seems to be a legitimate business who works with Harris polls and Nielsen Ratings and other survey on businesses, but this attempt to access my webcam without my permission made me angry enough.

  I guess they tried to use the Flash Player to access your camera. In my view, the default setting in system preferences-> Flash Player-> camera and microphone is to ask yourself if a site wishes to use any of these elements.

  You mean that you are not able to record audio by using the internal mic.
  Is this good?

  In your case, I recommend to check the audio device inside the camsoftware settings.
  In settings-> audio tab (last tab), you will find the necessary adjustments.
  The audio peripheral field must contain the microphone (2 unit high definition Realtek) and the audio volume option must be set to the max position (right).

  Recently bought the Satellite A500-17 x with Windows 7 pre-installed. Manual tells me under all programs-toshiba-> utilities >, there should be a web cam application.
