NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers is undefined.  We have wanted this to put on for our users, but can't seem to make it work.  As I said, the HORSE appears and you can postone, but if you do not touch the pc never restarts.  FYI, we use the server 2008R2 Standard GP.  Thank you

  • Windows auto-serrures after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Can someone help me solve this problem? Windows Vista sends me back the connection after 10 minutes of inactivity screen, which becomes inconvenient when there is 5 to 10 times a day. First of all, it is NOT related to the screen saver, I have the "on RESUME, display login" unchecked, as well as my screen saver is disabled. It is also not related to the option to sleep in the advanced power settings, I have my computer never sleep. Vista is not sleep, hibernation, Logging Off ot, it is blocking. Basically it's just to send me back the login screen after 10 minutes of inactivity, and when I log in all my stuff is still there. Web pages or applications I had open are all still there, but it's always a pain the the _ because if I have any program configured to run automatically (as virus scans etc.) in the middle of the night programs start if the system is locked.

I searched online for a while and could not find any help. It seems that everyone who has this problem just gets told to check their settings to screen saver and power, but this problem is not related to those.

  • Auto-restart after update-install

How can I stop Windows from automatically restart my PC after installing updates? While he gives me a grace period of 10 minutes, I couldn't be sitting at my computer and actually see this message.

Change the way you receive updates:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial140.html

Understand the Extras in Windows Vista and Windows Update info is at the link above.

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Vista will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

  • Reference Dell E6410 auto restart after BIOS update

    Hello

I have an old laptop Dell E6410, I need to update the BIOS in orden to use my SSD drive.

I have download and I try to upgrade, which works fine, but when it comes to auto restart that should be the real update, it will not automatically restart.

I'll have to push the power button, and it starts with a BIOS that is not upgraded.

Does anyone know why auto restart does not work on the laptop?

I can't do an automatic restart at all, I allways have to push the power button...

    Hello

    Please write to us!

This could be a problem with the motherboard that could be faulty.

We would be advised to restore the default BIOS and then run the system diagnostics.

  • script for auto kern after typing

Hi all!  I'm curious to know is it possible to create a script that will automatically kern specific letter pairings after typing their?
I browsed the forum and found something like this here Scripted custom kerning tables | Peter Kahrel.

What I would like is to be able to type and every time a 29 letter combinations that need kerning is involved than automatic script he kern

Ideas or help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks to all in advance!

If you really want to do, the only way is to use pairs of caterpillars in GREP styles - you cannot set values specific kern in the character styles.

    1. determine what values of track you need. Say you find to fix the Vx pair you must follow-100. Don't forget that kern are applied at the insertion points, followed by the values of characters, so Vx type, select the V and track until the couple looks like right.

    2. create a character style followed-100 and set its follow-up-100.

    3. Add a GREP style to your style of paragraph (s) that applies the character tracking-100 V(?=x) style

4 do the same for all other pairs of 28. You need a new style of character for each value of the track.

This solution is usable only in short documents. Long documents with many GREP styles tend to become very slow. Another disadvantage of this method is that you can define kern/track double only for characters in the same font. GREP style cannot distinguish the different font styles.
