M6300 color LCD Temperature?

Hi all

I am running Ubuntu Hardy Heron on a laptop of precision M6300 with 17 "LCD screen. I want to photo editing and the need to adjust the color temperature of the LCD screen. It appears in blue compared to my other monitors who have set to 6500 K color temperature, so I think it's fixed to about 9300 K.

I could not find anywhere I can change its color temperature, as you can with an external monitor. Is this possible? How? Thanks in advance!

'Conversion and color LCD management' is apparently the associated (through the operating system) with your monitor profile.

The error message is that the color profile named "conversion and color LCD management" likely is really defective. Profiles are complex things and are not always properly designed. This problem is surprisingly common.

    • Click Start, then in the search box, type color management .
    • When color management is displayed, click it.
    • Click on the devices tab to view or edit this profile is associated with your monitor.

How did you end up with this profile associated with your monitor? The default value for windows is to use sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1.

If it is an external monitor (not a laptop monitor), take the monitor to a different computer and plug it in, take the second computer monitor and put it on yours. The problem should soon become apparent - a faulty monitor or a defective video card or adapter to display on your computer.

  • Does not print the magenta color; HP 2575 All in One Photosmart

Installation HP2575 on another PC with 8.1 Windows 64-Bit operating system. After installing new printer cartridges have been installed, print heads were clean and aligned and even Magenta will not print.

Take a look at the diagnostic test page. Colors have lines through them, and the depth of the colors are not what they should be. We did change color saturation temperature and do not have an increase in the saturation of Magenta.

What else should I consider troubleshooting?

Alchohal Publix swabs to clean electrical contacts and the nozzles on the printer cartridges. Also cleaned the contact electric coupling on the printer.

My blackberry bold 9780 has stopped working recently and I accidentally dropped a few days ago. He had many other lines of color running up & down the screen when I turned on, I tried locking and unlocking the phone to see if it would make a difference, but it didn't. I also tried to re - insert the battery several times and he did not always the difference. How can I solve this problem?

As you said you have colored lines on your screen and you droped it acciedently so that there is no issue then the LCD screen. Your LCD need repair market because all functions work well accept this lineed color LCD. So there is no other case, then this.

  • Behavior strange color since the RC2 upgrade...

I work on a macbook pro, have a second monitor attached, 25 "nec 2690...

Now, when I go to develop the module of the image on my '2' screen color tarnishes a lot, it becomes blurry for a while and then becomes concentrated but the color is dull and totally different from the laptop screen...

I turned off the display '2' and parked the main table of the computer laptop for the big screen and the color lcd monitor/display has not changed... they stay the same rich colors... is only comes up with the '2' monitor / second screen chosen...

If in the library module and have the image on both screens look identical images, color shifts only happens when I'm going to develop...

    hope that's clear...

short PS... I have exported a small jpeg in photoshop to see what is happening... the color in Photoshop image is bright and rich as the original, it is not dull down at all... so, there is something to do with the dual display set up, at least that's what I think of my little test...

  • kernel_task 100% usage after the panic attack

Hello! Sorry to bother but I'm having this problem I can't solve everything. The thing is, on my activity monitor that process "Kernel task" is always between 100-120% of cpu! It all started 2 days ago after that my computer but I have a panic attack. These are solutions I've tried:

    • Connected in safe mode - the problem is present.
    • Reset SMC and LANDAU.
    • Remove the kext where is my model of laptop in IOPlatformpluginfamily (nothing happened and I turn the tide).
    • Cleaned all caches manually in ~/library/caches, System/Library/caches and deploy.
    • AHT and no problem.

The only thing missing is the reinstallation of os x, I did not because I made a new installation, a month ago. What is the logic board? I hope not...

I leave an etrecheck report just in case you see something unusual, even if I have not installed much software.

PS: I installed istats after I detected this issue so that I can monitor the temperature and control the fans, just in case. And those invalid signatures in the report appear after I cleaned the caches.

When you have a kernel panic, the relevant information is in reports of panic, not in the result of some random app that you downloaded.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

    In the Console window, select

DIAGNOSIS AND diagnostic USE information reports ▹ System

(not diagnose them and use Messages) in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

List of newspapers seen ▹ display

    in the menu bar.

There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points downwards. You will see a list of reports. A report of panic has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends with ".panic." Select the most recent. The content of the report is displayed at right. Allows you to copy and paste to validate all of the content, text, not a screenshot.

If you don't see any report, but you know, there was a panic, you have chosen diagnostic and using the list of Log Messages. INFORMATION on the USE of DIAGNOSTIC AND choose instead.

In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you change the UUID ' anonymous, ' a long string of letters, numbers and dashes in the header of the report, if it is present (it cannot be). "

Please do not post other types of diagnostic report.

I know that the report is long, perhaps several hundred lines. Please report all this anyway.

When you post the report, an error message may appear on the web page: "you have included content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." I suspect that the problem MAY be that Spotlight is reindexing your MBA. If I'm not mistaken, it will stop eventually.

Your MBA needs a new battery.

    Remove CleanMyMac3:

    http://macpaw.com/support/CleanMyMac/Knowledgebase/how-to-uninstall-CleanMyMac-3

    It is totally useless.

Install an application of speed of fan/temperature.

Open the activity monitor all THE PROCESSES and CPU to display values between high and low.

When you MBA gets hot, post pictures of both for review.

    Ciao.

  • MBP, 2013 - slow heat & battery drain

I have a MBP from early 2013 with screen Retina (8 GB of RAM). I noticed that lately my laptop is not it's fresh and it was slow. Applications such as mail and imessage were a bit slower to react. I also noticed that the portable real is much warmer than normal. I have not downloaded new applications for some time with the exception allowing the monthly Adobe Creative cloud expire. Any ideas what could cause the problem?

In the last 6 months, I had the logic board replaced due to a defect in the part.

I haven't noticed that activity monitor for the use of memory, Kernel_Task is bright Mo 835,4 constantly.

  • Results EtreCheck - MacBook Pro 13 "mid-2012

My computer has been rather slow (a lot of spinning color wheels) and recently overheated and whirred while closed in my bag back. I lived in the Middle East and North Africa for a while, which seems to add a bit of stress (temperature, electric conversions, etc.). Could someone please help me interpret these EtreCheck results and offer suggestions or solutions. I don't mean to put money in this computer, most seek to know what I can expect from what I have and whether or not it's time to buy a new one.

    Thank you!

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is particularly bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ all Messages

in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

List of newspapers seen ▹ display

in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Highlight date back to the time you noted above.

Select the messages entered since then until the end of the episode, or until they begin to repeat, whichever comes first.

Copy messages to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Please do not post screenshots of log messages - text poster.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the forum software. Thanks for posting the text on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

Try this second in normal startup mode: what happens if you create a new user account and log in as that user, the problems go away?

I'm not sure I'd worry about the plane crashes - it is listed as beta software

  • MacBook air crashes after the release of sleep since the upgrade of the sierra

Began to notice that since I upgraded my macbook air 2015 to sierra, system crashes. The trigger is always when I wake the sleep system (whether it is by opening cover or press a key). Issue is intermittent and may not be reproduced every time. I contacted apple support and they recommended resetting the SMC (ctrl + shift + cmd) but that didn't help either. I also did a check of filesystem (fsck-fy) and which seems to be very well so.

I noticed others seem to be faced with similar problems and a common theme that I noticed was that both we seem to have an installed tardisk. Not sure if this could be a factor?

While it is not any loss of data, the question is certainly annoying and disruptive to work.

The same question was observed at about 7 times since the update of the sierra. Containing the report of Etrecheck to the breast

You don't seem to be indexed (mds) and maybe make a backup as well. NOTHING slows down your Mac. He turns as quickly as possible, a lot of free memory and shows without well-known actors 'bad '.

This leaves "lack of hard drive" as the last always suspect on the list.
