  I have a HP 2000-2b29WM (comes with Windows 8 and updated to 10) and am looking to upgrade my processor without changing the card mother (685783-501). I found a list of all the processors that are supported by the family of 2000, but I need to know what is the highest supported for my motherboard processor.

  My processor is an Intel Pentium B960 dual core 2.20 GHz (664662-001) and I'm looking at the Intel Core i5 3230 M 2.60 GHz Dual Core (711903-001). Am I limited to Pentium series? Or can I go higher?

  I want to improve my motherboard on this laptop for games purposes.  I read somewhere that I can without AMD A6 - 4400M to an A10, but that it would be possible if I had two jacks (FM1 or FM2).  I don't know how many shots I or type.  Is this true?  If so, how can I know how many taken and type I without disassembling the computer?  If the upgrade is possible, is there a better still compatible motherboard you offer/recommend?

  Greetings:

  I have a HP e9260f and added so much that I really don't want to go buy a new desktop computer.  Added a diet more to support a better graphics card and a 250 GB ssd & 16 GB of ram.  That being said, I want to upgrade my processor and extend the memory of 32 GB.  I like the home version of Windows 7, he came with so no emergency to 8.  I do a lot of graphics work great and some 3D stuff, so I can use what I can get.  My understanding is that I have to update my current to be able motherboard to use a bigger processor.  I'm not a hardware guy, just do what I need for my projects and do my best to combine it.  So, is it feasible with this established to improve the motherboard and if so what would the bundle of the recommended mother/CPU card?  Thank you!

  If you want to replace the motherboard by a Council of "stock", you will need to buy a new copy of Windows 7. This is because the Microsoft Windows license is tied to the card mother OEM that came with your computer. The use of any other motherboard will make non-genuine Windows, and you personal set of recovery discs HP no longer works.

  My Asus motehrboard failed. I replaced it today, but of course the new Asus motherboard has all different chipsets etc.. I tried to start the original installation in safe mode, but it crashes after he tries to load a file sys (diskcrc.sys memory).

  I have a MacBook Pro (retina, start in 2015) with standard specifications:

  -2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor

  -8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 memory

  -Video graphics card Intel 6100 Iris trolley 1536 MB

  This year, I use my Mac mainly for editing and animation (if Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects) and it becomes very slow when using them. To speed it up I have a few questions:

  1) I was researching and first downloaded the latest driver NVIDIA CUDA to improve performance. The download went well, I installed it, but I can't activate it. For some reason he can't locate/activate the CUDA driver.

  2) I was planning to upgrade my RAM, which is a mediocre 8 GB (instead of at least 12 GB I think I might need).   Upgrading RAM is very easy and you can do it in first. According to specifications of the laptop, your laptop can handle with 4 GB max and compatible RAM modules is DDR2-533 1 GB (PA3411U-2M1G).   On the upgrade of the HARD drive, there is no public document, but I'm sure that you can upgrade up to 250 GB HARD drive with no problems.

  Update CPU is not supported and you should think about it. Believe me with the maximum RAM that you need not upgrade CPU. Maximum RAM upgrade and optimize the operating system.

  I'm working on a laptop HP Envy dv7 - 7227cl.  I replaced the motherboard and have now two questions... one is that the system requires an activation again.

  The other is that the new motherboard will not charge the battery... It wasn't a problem on the old motherboard...

  Battery test told me that the battery failed the test when you use hardware diagnostics from the bios.

  I don't have another battery to test with.

  I know that the original motherboard is a 682220-501 (part number of HP), and the news he gave me is a 682220-001... Could it be the problem?
