• Issue of "PCI simple communications controller" infamous with Acer laptop

  So, in a few words, the computer does not recognize the usb flash drives. On every attempt to connect the device, the sounds "connect device" is played and about 3 our 10 times the "driver installation failed" message from Windows. I went down of Windows 8 (which was already installed on the computer acquisition) to Windows 7 for personal reasons, the funny thing is that I installed it with a digital copy through the flash disk usb that I try to open right now, by way of conclusion, the fault must be on the software.

  My mouse works perfectly, be connected via a usb port, I even tried with the keyboard that I use for my desktop pc and also works.

  So here are the things I tried and had no results:

  -possibility to install the driver automatically with Windows Update (1st attempt failed to find; 2nd attempt, driver is found BUT access is denied)

  -J' have that maybe if I uninstall the driver from "Device Manager", after a Windows restart should re - automatically installs the driver, but as above the same message "access denied."

  -Downloaded the Intel driver (ME 9: engine management pilot), with the error "failed to install".

  Is there a way to solve the problem of "access denied" so that Windows Update can take care of things? Or am I left with the only option of re - install everything again hoping that everything will work?

  Here's how to manually install the driver...

  Each laptop comes with preinstalled operating system must have installed all the drivers for all hardware components. Did you found a problem in the Device Manager or what?

  HDMI problem: according to TV specification, it must have two HDMI ports. Please make sure that you have enabled the right port on your TV.

  One last thing: don't forget to create a recovery media using preinstalled Toshiba recovery media creator tool. Mage recovery relief is very important if something goes wrong with preinstalled OS or HARD drive.

  This device is not the reason why you are unable to connect to the internet.  I suggest you find a PCI or PCI Express x 1 card network card and install it in one of the available locations.  I can't make suggestions on personal credit cards because you have not specified what operating system is installed. I'm fairly certain this isn't Windows 8. Your venerable PC is a bit too far back in the Windows 8 compatible PC platforms.  It's impressive that it continues to work after all these years.

  If you have installed Windows 7, then the simplest solution, especially if you have access to a router wireless, would be to install a dongle usb wireless for internet access.

  I found a few references to care packs, but none that really meet this model and the OS which is Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit Edition.

  Had to download off site due to firewall blocks FTP. But as an alternative would download flow anyway.
