MAC OSX 10.9.4 ESXi support

Which version to download, and more precisely where can I find the download to get a server ESXi on my MAC?  I found VMware-VMvisor-Installer - 5.5.0.update01 - 1623387.x86_64.iso and am unable to install.  Mounted using disk utility, a folder opens and nothing more.  What I'm missing here?  Thanks for the attention.

When you install ESXi in a virtual machine, you first create a virtual machine (like container for this). You can allocate the resources for this ESX in VM settings (Customizing the settings). All this happens in Fusion.

Once you've got to ESXi installed in the previous step, you must use vSphere Client to connect to the VM ESXi. Then, you can create and manage the actual VMs. Hope my explanation is clear.

  • No support fax or scan for C6180 on Mac OSX 10.5.8

When Mac OSX 10.5.8, we discovered that the HP C6180 printer we use (wired network) only supported print. There is no driver to fax and no support of the Analyzer. The HP software asked to buy us a new printer in order to find these features.

You can imagine our willingness not to buy a new printer when we still works fine. If HP wants us to keep buying cartridges printer HP or never buy another HP printer again then it would be reasonable to expect continuous support of drivers for printers still in the field. (it's not yet all that old...)

Is there a solution or driver updated, please?

    Thank you, RG

The note in the system disk refers to drivers integrated into OSX.  Upward through 10.5, they only support print (10.6 print media, scanning and fax).

Try to uninstall using uninstaller in Applications, Hewlett-Packard folder, and then reinstall it from the link I gave you.

If all else fails you could spend $29 and upgrade to Snow Leopard and get back disk space as well!

  • Mac OSx Sierra Time Machine WD my cloud

Since upgrading to Mac OSX Sierra my Macbook Pro and Macbook Air are not capable of doing Time Machine back Ups to a WD MyCloud drive that is connected to our router.

We have updated the firmware on the WD My Cloud drive to the latest version and contacted WD on this problem, so far they have not come with a solution to the problem.

If you open Time Machine preferences and then observe what happens, by hitting 'Back Up Now' systems do "Looking to save the disc" then "Preparing backup" then stop and then go back to the status of 'rest' without backup anything to the top at all. It is the same on both machines. You can see here: Time Machine Back Up My Cloud

Notice how the drive icon changes to the point where it stops working and then goes to the other drive which is a USB.

Now, to complicate the issue further... an iMac connected via Ethernet to the router can go back to the My Cloud drive perfectly as before. If Apple changed something with the wireless protocols I think but that?

    Hi stevefrompembury,

Thanks for posting in the Community Support from Apple! I understand that your or your Mac back up Time machine since the update. Backups are certainly crucial to ensure that your data remains secure, so I'm happy to offer some suggestions.

You have already tried a few milestones. I recommend you take a look through this article so that you have covered all the steps mentioned, including the section titled 'Control your readers': If you can not back up or restore your Mac with Time Machine

  • 26.0 Firefox works do not correctly with Mac OSX 10.9.1. Text jumps from one side to the other spontaneously

I used firefox on Mac computers for years. I am now under Maverick Mac OSX 10.9.1 and have major problems with sizing of text in windows and windows suddenly change size (much smaller) and jump on the left side of my desk. Apple does not support Firefox, so I can't get assistance on their part and Mozilla is impossible to contact them directly. Can someone please help with this problem?

You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    • View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); 0 + Command on Mac)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Moderator has added Mac OSX to the title to attract the attention of other Mac users.

Which of course is not a problem of Firefox support, as the operating system manages connections such as Bluetooth. You really need a Mac OSX support forum for help with that, unless another user of Firefox which also uses Mac OS x comes through this thread and can help you.

    Hello

The printer is compatible with the Mountain Lion (10.8) or a later version, it is not compatible with your operating system. to get all the features, I suggest the printer back and get a previous model that suports of Lion.

You may be able to circumvent such assistance an another print driver, such will offer only the printer and features advanced features not so much that the ink levels, management of printers, etc.

    To so proceed as follows:

1 install the package on your Mac:

    https://support.Apple.com/kb/DL907?locale=en_US

    2. connect the printer to your Mac and make sure that it is turned on.

    3. from system preferences > printers and Scanners, click the sign more and select your printer.

    4. click on the reduction in the drop-down menu, then select printer software use.

    5. Select the HP Deskjet 3050 as another driver and click Add.

For scanning, you try the 3rd party software VueScan which should be supported on Lion and support your printer:

    Hope that helps,

  • Scanner HP hangs while loading, Mac OSX Lion

Some time, I've upgraded to the new Mac operating system and scanning HP began to simply crash at startup.  I tried waiting a long period never came to see if an update would come to my computer that could solve the problem, but nothing.  I waited for the next upgrade Mac OSX, and with Mountain Lion here still does not work.  I tried to find the drivers so I could remove and reinstall them using, but drivers HP page she finished with just a message saying something to the effect of "these updates come to you automatically through a software update...". ".  I can't believe that HP gave this device and it not support.  I just got an update for it through the normal OS update, but it still broken.  If I try to use Image Capture (de facto under Mac OSX program) he struggles to do the scan, or I would just use it.

What should I do to fix this?

    HP Photosmart Premium (around 2011)

  • HP officjet 7500 has mac osx mountain lion

Three weeks ago, I bought a HP OfficeJet 7500 a AIO printer. I have an iMac and MacBook Pro computer both running Mac OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.4.

I tried to install the printer, connect to my router by Ethernet cable and iMac after a lot of frustration and Wifi the printer has been identified and I printed a document successfully.

The next day, after it off the computer at night, I tried to print without success. I reinstalled the printer and print a document. The same thing happened every day! Then I found this file on HP's Support site: HP_Mountain_Lion_Ink_SW_v12.23.18 and I successfully installed and print a document.

Today, once more, the iMac can't find the printer! I followed the instructions over and over again and as I client I'm frankly NOT interested if it's a problem of HP Apple or Apple HP problem. Mountain Lion OS has been available for years as a printer. It's also a shame that when you buy an HP printer new at Office Depot in Israel that you get an obsolete installation disc!

Surely someone at HP does not have an iMac with Mountain Lion and is ready to take the problem to solve the problem or HP he expects visitors to reinstall the printer every day?

I don't hold my breath that a response from the HP HP. doesn't have its customers when Windows 8 is out with drivers for laptops and it seems that HP is not always interested in the customer service!

    You are welcome Frank,.

Try to access the web page of your router, then go to Advanced > Network Tools and enable IGMP Snooping:

    http://screenshots.PortForward.com/routers/Dlink/DSL-6740U/IGMP.htm

URL of the router is the gateway listed for your printer listed in the summary of the network cable to the printer.

Then restart the router and check if that can help by using the Hello-add print queue, which is of course assuming that everyhing works fine using the queue of Jetdirect-socket

    Hello

I'm afraid the pritner is not compatible with 10.5.8, it is only supported by Mac OS X 10.6 or newer versions, such as listed in the configuration system specified below:

Minimum system requirements : Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, OS X v10.7 Lion, or OS X v10.8 Mountain Lion.

    Hello

Click on the Apple icon and select App Store, then open the updates tab.

Click on the Store menu, then select 'reload the Page.

If no HP update became available, be sure to install it and then add the queue of Fax Printers & Scanners.

If there is still no software updates available to install the following package and then try to add the fax queue again:

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/dl907

Notes; It may take up to 60 seconds for the fax queue appears after the clicking on the plus sign under Printers & Scanners.
