Mac video conversion for playback of Windows?

Help, please!

How to convert a video on the Mac of my niece to watch on my Windows media player? I downloaded with a pin code reader on my laptop and the video won't play, don't appear as text under proxies, thumbnails, quicklook, project and still images. The tab of properties reads like a rcproject.

It is a great video of our family over Thanksgiving and can't wait to share with others!

  • Choppy video playback in Windows Media Center (Windows 7) WTV

I recently experienced a video playback jerky with windows media center.  Sometimes the recorded TV (WTV format) play very well for about 2-3 minutes until the video playback is very jerky (probably about 5 to 10 frames per second instead of the usual 30-60 fps).  The audio is not again normally.  Windows Movie maker also plays choppy video (Windows Media Player seems to work very well).  The main menu of Windows Media Center, itself becomes generally restless slow when I'm scrolling autour options, even when there is no video game in the background.  Video streaming on the Internet and DVD seems to play fine on Windows Media Center, and I can even stream HD video without problem.  I also know that this isn't a problem receiving the TV tuner since I test with the video recorded previously.  I bought my computer in June 2009 with Windows Vista and upgrade to Windows 7 a few months later.  Everything worked perfectly well until recently.

I tried to update my video card drivers, reallocation of Windows Media Center to a task of "high priority" to improve performance, the RAM Cache to improve the performance, my graphics card setting to low quality setting to have superior performance to compensation.  I even tried to reinstall Windows Media Center, reinstall Windows Media Player and the restoration of my entire computer to a State a few months in the past where the problem was not intervened.  The memory usage seems OK too (I have 6 GB).  Basically, I don't think that the issue is performance related.  I'm guessing that there is some little conflict, pilot program, codec, etc., which is originally the video playback to go bad after a few minutes.  Any thoughts?

For what it's worth, I was faced with the problem of stuttering for always (continuously from a WHS for a HP Media Center Extender) and had tried all of the recommended patches (updates driver, network card settings tweaking, etc..)  Nothing helps.  Last week my router died (Netgear WNDR3700, who was the State of the art when I bought it a year ago).  I replaced it with an old but unboxed Linksys WRT320N and stuttering all my problems disappeared.

  • What is a video game for Windows XP always run on Windows Vista?

My sister wants to buy a video game for the computer. But the game says that it works under Windows Me /XP/ 98. This game will always work when used on a Windows Vista?

Not a guarantee. Changes in technology and sometimes on the way, old programs break. The reason why many do is simply because the way in which they were written. Some programs are hard coded to check the version of the OS during installation, if Setup program fails to find a suitable BONE, it was designed for (XP = 5.1, 2000-5.0), it refuses to install. It is a bad practice on the developers part that Microsoft is working with third-party developers for the development of Windows Vista to discourage.

    A last possibility...

May be useful to search to try your computer support sites
manufacturer or manufacturer of the video card for an update
    driver video...

Verify that the video driver is problematic is to reduce
hardware graphic acceleration: If this improves the issue...
install an updated video driver may be the solution. Acceleration
may be returned in full once installed the updated driver.

Windows 7 - reduce graphics acceleration
    (see following article)

Sometimes... Windows Update will install a video driver that is not

  • Curve 8320 blackBerry Smartphones; Optimal resolution for playback of video files?

I use a Nueros MP4 recorder to copy TV for my curve.  There are several possible video file settings, but some parameters of the curve will not be reading, give me a file error message. Other parameters of audio-video are not synchronized.  I'm working my way through all the options, but it's a slow process.

    Possible settings:

    320 x 240

    320 x 240 15 fps

    176 x 120

    320x2403GP

    174 x 144 3GP

Also, some parameters of the curve will read a small file, less than 60 MB, but won't have video playback to a full hour, 155 MB. Is there a size limit for playback?

I found a solution. It's not pretty, but it works. I save the video to 3GP 320 x 240. I take the MP4 file and then run it via VisualHub using the MP4 tab to convert it to MP4.  It may seem redundant to convert an MP4 to an MP4, but VisualHub must have the correct CODECs to play on the curve.  Because the file is already a MP4, VisualHub is a movie for two hours of treatment in less than 10 minutes. The final MP4 play correctly with no error message.

But there is a second larger problem, the processor of the curve is not quite fast enough to follow the perfect audio and video sync on a two hour movie. A lightweight sync error keeps building. I decided to keep the documentaries with a narrator off the screen on the curve, this way the audio-video synchronization is not really noticeable.  And 30 minute television play well on the curve.

  • Download widevine video optimizer for windows 8 using ie, but it does not install

    Separated from this thread.

I'm having the same problem I download widevine video optimizer for windows 8 using ie, but it will not be installed.  does anyone know how to get this plugin to install?

    Hi Tracey,

I understand that you can not install the optimizer Widevine video plugin in Internet Explorer.

To better understand the issue, please send us the following information:

    1. What is the exact error that you have found when trying to install this plugin?
    2. Is the problem occurs when you attempt to install another plugin or is it specific to this?

If you try to download plugins for other browsers and install it on Internet Explorer, it will not work then I suggest you download the plugin which is developed for Internet Explorer.

Please, try to reinstall the correct plugin from the link below and see if it helps:
