MacBook pro 13-inch el capitan always show the Rainbow of dead ball

Right now I'm using Macbook Air 13 inch mid 2012

I have once again updated my iphone 4 ios s 8.0.2 to 9.1.2 using my mac and I left the mac update this throughout the night

But tomorrow after I tried to run my mac, it turns very slow and I finally discovered that my mac always show the Rainbow ball dead once that he "freeze" or "hangs." I have a problem when I run any application, try to press one of the sound, light, stop buttons in the row or even write something about the spotlight

I tried several thing to get my mac

(1.) I tried to stop the do not respond forcefully quit

2.) open the activity monitor and try to leave the app consuming so much memory or running % CPU

3.) doing repair disk

4.) close with force the mac by pressing the power button

5.) try to restart using the command + alt + shift + power button / stop or command + R + power button front for my mac to turn on (and another way to turn on the mac I don't remember really

6.) download the application "CleanMyMac3" and clear about 100 GB of data

7.) I also check my hard drive internal and I know I have still 250 gb of my memory of free space

Anyone has idea what should I do to make my normal Mac turn? I need quick answer as soon as possible

First, you must uninstall CleanMyMac.  This program is bad, bad news.  It's the fraudulent crapware, I can be honest.  You should never, never, never download any program 3rd party to remove anything from your computer, sight unseen.  You do not know which files were contained in this 100 GB, and that's what makes it dangerous.  Your computer has been damaged, well beyond what was he runs everything until you did.  Mac do not need software 'maintenance' that claims to clean, organize, update or optimize it.  They do a great job of taking care of themselves, to the extent where that goes.  So, until the problems you encounter may be addressed, you need to uninstall completely in accordance with the instructions of the developer.  You can find them here.  Do exactly what these directions say to do.  If you do not, you will need to reinstall to uninstall correctly.

Once you take care of it, go to http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck , download and run EtreCheck, copy paste here the status report.

I have a Macbook Pro (17-inch late 2011) is fully compatible with El Capitan and Maverick. I'm a little hesitant to upgrade. Tried before with e lCapitan and was NOT successful Please HELP

Why has been upgraded to El Capitan failed before?

The only problem is that some applications require the upgrade and some devices that connect to the computer require updated drivers up-to-date. The problem is that for some devices and applications updates are not available and so they do not work with El Capitan.

I want to improve my macbook to mavericks in el capitan, but my friend told me not to do. Because she just update its macbook (same model with mine) and it becomes slower than before (yosemite).

Is there anyone with the same problem? Or maybe another problem after upgrade to el capitan?

It works perfectly with EC is that you have enough memory. I say that at least 8 GB is necessary. 4 GB is very marginal.

  • Very slow Macbook Pro 13 inch Mid 2012

Hello world! I'm not savvy at all, so my apologies if something is not clear in my message below.

    Data sheet:

    MacBook Pro 13 inch (mid-2012)

    OS X Yosemite: Version 10.10.5

Processor: Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz

    Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Storage: 139.3/499.25 GB in use; 359,95 GB free

For the last two weeks, my Macbook Pro 13 inch (mid-2012) has been extremely slow. The colorful beachball (aka the wheel of death) often shows up, even when I'm just trying to type something, such as now (I'll have to type really slowly, so it can track). This slowness came very suddenly.

I tried resetting SMC/NVRAM, repair disk permissions, then by restarting in safe mode, but the problem persists (I also tried to upgrade to El Capitan, but was met with a loop of reboot delicious and recovered my time machine backup again to the recovery mode). I think I can also try to reindex spotlight, but I may or may not succeed.

I was not able to create a Time Machine backup successfully for the last month, because it gets stuck on "preparing for backup...". "(not sure if this could be related). I also wanted to point out that Dropbox is one of my startup items, but I got it for centuries, and it has never been my Macbook it ridiculously slow. Before this slowness, I would leave it and my Macbook would be back up to speed. I also tried to remove the list of startup items and slowness persists even after rebooting.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Recently, I joined an online course in which they said I need a webcam, headset and microphone so that I can communicate with my instructor and discussions in class.

I have really no idea what hardware inside is on my laptop. Is the built in camera something that could be used for this purpose? Or do I need to buy these separately three elements to make this work? And if yes, are you easy to install and can anyone recommend something good, but also low-cost as possible.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Your built in FaceTime, camera is sufficient. This is the idea. outdoor cameras are mostly a thing of the past. If the internal webcam is broken, an external is always an option repair vs.

You may need their proprietary software to connect to their course however

  • I dropped my Macbook pro (13-inch) year 15

Here's what happened and I tried to solve the problem:

    What happened:

I left my macbook pro (13-inch) year 2015 on the couch leaning, who fell on the couch. Landing on top of the macbook screen and where the keyboard is native. In other words, it landed on the mat (head down '' v '').

Here's what I tried to solve the problem:

    Press Command + Option + P + R at startup.

    Press command + R

Hold the SHIFT key and still does not turn on (black screen)

However, on my macbook pro, I could still see the apple logo light up, when I press the "Caps Lock", the Green led comes on and also the power cord shows green and orange colors. When the Macbook pro fell the screen was on

I don't know what to do next. I have apple care and I'm afraid that apple wouldn't cover it

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

    Thanks in advance,

    Shane

  • MacBook Pro 15 inch Mid 2009 running slow

My MacBookPro began to run more slowly. It was a bit lazy before I upgraded to El Capitan (10.11.14), but it seems that it becomes gradually slower.

The most affected elements: start-up, open programs and work on the Internet. (In regards to the Internet, I have restarted my modem, checked my speed of suppliers, cleared my cache, etc. I'm waiting for my provider to help me know if there are problems with my service, but it seems that my Internet is being heard more slow as well. I work from home on a website online. Internet delays are causing me considerable problems with my work!)

By different channels support Apple, I ran EtreCheck and provided the report below. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Confusing one, it says that my 8 GB of RAM is expandable. But I don't know why. I have 8 GB of RAM upgraded last year.

Thank you in advanced for your entry.

    Hello again Tricia_S,

I see no problem at all in your report to EtreCheck. The 'extensible' indicator simply means that your machine can be extensible. Most recent Macs have no more extensible RAM. These types of downturns are a common complaint. You have an older machine, and they do not work El Capitan, but also a new machine. You can replace your hard drive with an SSD. But other than that machine seems to be running like he's going to run.

  • Today my Macbook Pro could not start.  He showed me the ban or no symbol.  I was able to access disk utility and run first aid on the SM0256G of SSD Apple media successfully.  Cannot start in normal/safe mode.  Should I delete/install so I can?

MacBook Pro 13 '' end 2015.  256 GB SSD drive. El Capitan last version 10.11.4. I turned on the Macbook Pro and it could not start.  The progress bar with the Apple Logo would be present but would end not showing the symbol «»  I tried to boot mode safe - no go.  I have not reset PRAM help.  I was able to access disk utility and run successfully the first aid. No help. I was unable to restore two separate backup.  The utility show me backups however when I would go to the next screen and no backup is available.  Disk utility displays the SSD.  Can I erase the disc and download OS X install?  Thank you.

At this point, there is no need to delete. A new copy of Mac OS X can be installed directly over the old copy. This process replaces the components of Mac OS X on a file by file basis and adds missing ones, there will be no major throwing away what anyone, unless there is a power failure.

You have already run disk first aid.

Now use mode of recovery (command + R to start) to "Re-install Mac OS X. It should install the latest revision of the main version that you ran last.

  • Heating - slow and freezing macbook pro early 2011 el capitan

Hello! I have a 2011 mac book pro, a few months from now on, he started to over heat a lot (it burns) and it is SUPER slow... sometimes it gets frozen (most with safari)

MacBook Pro (13 inch, early 2011)

    2.3 GHz Intel Core i5

    RAM 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

    El capitan 10.11.3 IOS (15 d 21)

disk storage 168 GB free (320 GB SATA drive)

I run clean my mac and repair disk permissions

    It only worsens.

    An advise please?

    Thank you very much!!

'CleanMyMac' is a scam and a frequent cause of instability and poor performance. Depending on which version you have, the developer's instructions may not completely uninstall. Please follow these instructions, then do as below.

Back up all data before proceeding.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac3.Agent.plist

Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

Services ▹ reveal in Finder (or just to reveal)

the contextual menu.*, a file can open with a selected item. If so, move the selected item to the trash. You may be prompted for administrator login password.

    Repeat with this line:

    /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac3.Agent

Restart the computer and empty the trash.

You may also delete one or more of these elements in the same way:

    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac.helperTool.plist
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac.volumeWatcher.plist
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac3.Scheduler.plist

Never install "CleanMyMac" or something like that.

    * If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

  • How to connect an old 23 "Cinema Display to a MacBook Pro 15 inch with Retina display

I have an old 23 "Cinema HD Display, part number M9178LL/A and want to connect it to a recent MacBook Pro 15 inch with Retina display 2104.

The Cinema Display has a power adapter and 3 USB, Firewire connectors and a DVI (think that's what it's called).

The MacBook Pro has USB, Thunderbolt, and HDMI ports.  I have a crush on Firewire adapter, but I don't know what I need to plug the DVI or if it will work.

I also remember that years ago Apple sold "docks", so that you can use your laptop with a keyboard and a standard monitor.  Is this always the case?

    If anyone can help?

    Thank you very much.

Adapt you the Thunderbolt computer monitor DVI connection (use a Mini DisplayPort adapter) or HDMI port. USB and FireWire connections are only needed if you plan to use the screen as a hub.

Can someone please give me an idea why the following happens?

    Hello world

There seems to be a problem with the retina display and the only way to get around for me was to install an app that changed the screen resolution.

Hope that someday will solve this problem.

Once you change the resolution it looks a little bit fuzzy, but it's nice to be able to select the relationship.
