  You don't need to install CS4 on your new machine. Install CS6 directly on the new machine. Enter the serial number for the CS6 version first, and Setup will automatically ask you to enter the serial number for CS4 after that. Enter the serial number for CS4, and you're done.

• HP Officejet Pro 6830: Cannot use the menu on the printern

  I just got a new 6830 Pro Officjet installed. The printer works fine, but I'm not able to use the menu on the printer. When I choose an option, opens the printer option, but within two seconds, it goes back to the home screen. Analysis and making copies is impossilble at this time.

  I already checked the firmware version and it is up to date. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  My laptop is Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 model: PSLBDE-003005AR

  I upgrade my memory to 4 GB using 2x2gb PC2-5300 667 Mhz memory. When I installed the memory and I turn on my laptop the installation always pop up. When I removed the 2 GB of memory to do only 2 GB I spend on my laptop and it works.

  I am using windows Vista premium 32-bit edition. I wonder why I do not work with 4 GB of memory. I installed the memory correctly, but it does not work to 4 GB.

  Some L300 would be able to support 4 GB and some are limited to 2 GB of RAM.

  I'm running CF7 and I want to test and usually * CF8 before moving all of our code itself. It would be really useful to have installed and running on my local machine for this.
  
  Can I install CF8 and CF7 is still installed? And I'll be able to easily switch between the two so I can see the code that runs in both cases? I just want to use the web server integrated on my local machine, nothing complicated.
  
  I went through the other threads on installing CF8 after CF7, but none seem to answer to have installed and running at the same time. I could run on separate machines, but I would have preferred if possible.

  Yes you can easily have both. They just cannot use the same
  Web server on the same port at the same time. Would be confusing.

  If you do not know how to connect CF to different web servers and | or
  the ports there is some learning to do.

  A common configuration is to have a version running on the integrated CF
  Web server on port 8300 and the other version running on a free IIS or
  Apache web server running on port 80.
