MacBook Pro at Lac Photo Photosmart Plus?

Hi all

I have a 2011 Macbook Pro running OS x 10.6.8 which is the latest update of Snow Leopard.

I have a Photosmart Plus B210 print via wifi.

I did the software update on my Macbook, everything is up-to-date.

I checked the preferences/updates on the Photosmart and the printers software is up-to-date.

On the photosmart I chose by printing device preferences/external "Prompt for bin" but just in case I also tried "Photo tray" without success in the printing of the photo tray.

I saw a photo using an extract, and no matter what I do the printer insists that I have to load paper in the main A4 tray when I want the printed image on paper photo from the Photo tray.

It does not seem to have any other way to choose the photo tray when printing or to request a specific tray when a job is in queue if I'm not mistaken.

Can anyone help.

I need the capability to print to A4 flat when I want to and photos via the photo tray when I want - not too much to ask, I thought.

In any case, any advice is well welcomed and received with gratitude.

Thanks in advance

Hello

Change printer preferences will change the settings to print only from the machine (for example copy of peripheral memory.)

In order to print from your Mac, you must change the settings for print preview settings:

1. open the photo with Priview, then click file > print

2. click on the middle of the screen (Preview) located selection box then select the Type of paper/quality

3. set the Paper Type you like

4. set the Source in the Photo Tray

You can now click on the top menu Presets and Save these settings as a "Preset" for future use.

Thus, create additional pre-configured with supports smooth and set the Source to Auto for regular prints.

  • FaceTime and Messages "not responding" MacBook Pro but works on iPhone Plus 6 and 3 Mini iPad

In January, I sent a text message with a very large number of numbers through Messages on the Macbook Pro.  Since then, it will be not open without the reel spinning of Messages and FaceTime, the system fan going at top speed and the computer slows down considerably until I Force Quit or other software.  I have zero problems on the iPhone or iPad with either.

I've already removed the library of Messages and attachments, and this seems to have actually exacerbated the problem.

I did a complete reinstallation of the operating system (El Capitan), and it had zero effect.

My guess is that these two very large text messages are the culprits, and I can't understand how to reset all messages.  I'm happy to delete all, if I can get somehow my Macbook to recognize what has happened.  Otherwise, I am at my wits end, trying to get these two applications to work again.  I'm quite the newbie, so please refer to measures as simply as possible.  (Btw - the texts were a legitimate response to a follow-up request, and I hoped just don't have to send them all individually in case of FAILURE)

Thanks for any help you can offer, Apple!

  • Reinstallation of photoshop cs5 on the new MacBook pro OS 10.10.1

    Hello

I've recently updated my computer to a new MacBook Pro OS x photo editing 10.10.1. Reinstalled photoshop CS5 and code submitted product. Photoshop will open and run, but some commands, specifically print orders or changes to the print settings causes the program to quit. I have looked on several forums and advice re: reloading photoshop among others, but could not get anything to change.

Question 1: is there anything in the that updates to CS5 to make it compatible with the latest OS X update?

Question 2: Why is there not an option on adobes site to submit a question to technical support? All other software manufacturers that I care gives you the opportunity to submit questions to their support staff.

Any help would be appreciated in get my software to work correctly again.

    Thank you

    Justin

    Hi Jeff,

Tried to send a reply over redirect, but couldn't find a way to do it. I had some suggestions to try, but in the meantime has noticed that there are updates of OS X and cs5 who had not been there earlier. Once I made the updates, it solved the problem I had. Thank you much for the help... If you want or can post these to the thread, you are welcome to do so.

    Hi jpjones2,

It worked before? If so, I suggest restarting the base station AirPort, Mac and the Photosmart. Then test it again. Ensure that the Photosmart works well autonomous - try printing a copy on the device.

Is only the failing printing and analysis very well? Or you are not able to install the device on your Mac at all?

Already check the Photosmart is connected to your network and has received an IP address?

  • LR 5 import since the external hard drive LaCie MacBook Pro

I use LR 5 on a MacBook Pro.  I backup on a LaCie external drive.  I'm not able to import all the photos using the Add function.  4 000 photos, only 400 are imported.  I get a greyed out on the photos not imported image by saying that they exist "elsewhere" in the catalog.  It worked very well for years, this just started happening, I didn't do anything differently.

How to do that, re - connect?

  • If I upload my photos to the iCloud library remain my original photos on my MacBook Pro?

If I upload my photos to the iCloud library remain my original photos on my MacBook Pro?

Yes, they do. See:iCloud photo library - Apple Support

Note that if you open the Photos on your Mac and go to preferences and click on iCloud at the top of the preferences window, there are 2 options: 'Download the originals of this Mac' and 'Optimize Mac storage.' If you choose the option optimize and your Mac is low on storage space, then the originals can be replaced with smaller optimized versions.

You have placed your beam to insert at the end of your text on page 13 and then apply Insert menu: Page Break? In the v5.6.2, Pages I just add a new page to a section of four pages to this approach.

  • Photos on macbook pro unavailable

I can't access my photos on my macbook pro for most programs and applications. It seems that my library is not accessible by anything more to get photos. Google reader, ms outlook for mac, ms nothing for mac are examples of programs that I try to use to remove the photos.

What is happening with this terrible new photo program or feature or whatever it's called that came after the disappearance of iphoto?

No - it's your lack of having to update software

Like many new features OS in order to use fully their functions, you need to update other applications too. - any request that does not have access to media needs an update of its author browser

As a work around you can export photos from Photos in a folder on the desktop and use there

  • How to save the MacBook Pro Photo library

I am eager to help a friend to back up its Photo library of his MacBook Pro on a USB key. The Mac will be erased once the process is complete. Can someone give me a step by step guide how to keep safe all the photos of his library is supported if she can transfer it to a new Mac?

One option would be to use the Google Photos. You can download the Google Photos to your MacBook Pro and iPhone app, and it backs up all the photos. Don't have free unlimited storage so no need to worry about losing all of them.

    See photos.google.com for more information.

  • Copy and save photos from Iphoto on Macbook Pro photos

I spent hours trying to work on this simple operation, but nothing helped.

Only start just using Photos, Iphoto, etc. of cloud so jargon is a little confused and I'm a newbie to how it all works, despite searches it seems to be no simple explanation.

I think I'm the handle, but I am aware that if I uploaded my pictures from the camera to my Ipad and it goes into the Photo Album, backed up in the cloud - that if I delete it the iPad I have not these photos anywhere else and the card of the camera has been cleared.

I just want to save all the pictures that are now on my Ipad to travel (not on my camera more), backed up in the cloud — but nowhere else.  I want to be able to save copies of the size of all these photos and keep them on my Macbook Pro or backup on an external hard drive.

How can I do this?  I don't want them to end up in the Photos on my Macbook - I want just store them as a backup in images or use an external usb key to save.  Why is it so difficult?  Surely if there was the option of backup on an external hard drive, it would be much easier to use.  I am afraid that I do not trust just by using the Cloud, where I accidentally erase my iPad - I need another backup physical to be able to work with.

If your photos are now in iCloud photo library, you can download them to your computer from the web interface for iCloud.

Open a browser window on your computer and open the page web www.icloud.com.

Connect with your AppleID to iCloud.

Launch the Photos.app at this web page.

Click on "Select", and then select all the photos. Then click on the download button.

To select a range of photos at a time click on the first picture, hold down the SHIFT key, click the last photo of the range.

  • Why no iMessage send photos from my MacBook Pro?

I've got OS X El Capitan installed on my MacBook Pro and my iMessage 10.11.5 version is version 9.2.

All texts send perfectly well, but if I try to send a picture or, God forbid, a video, iMessage slows down and takes an eternity trying to download it, to eventually fail and send nothing at all. He will then proceed to deliver texts that I had put on hold after the photos / videos.

And it shows a red exclamation point next to the text containing the photograph, but once again, if I try to send it back, I realize the same frustrating result.

I have no idea of what could be the cause, since I have 35 GB free of my memory of 120 GB and all my software is up to date...

I tried to disconnect from the iMessage, quit the application, and then open it again and reconnect... Still no results.
