MacBook Pro screen turned white rose areas

I use a Macbook 2009 end Pro 15 ", 4 GB of ram, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Everything is fully updated. Yesterday, I started getting intermittent flashes of rose on the white areas of the screen. Affected programs were Pages (old and new versions), Safari, Mail, numbers and Quickverse. I have tried a reboot and everything seemed fine, but he reappeared briefly to the waking from sleep.

Today the same programmes on each screen, including white ares of my desktop image. I can read the material, but it's distracting. The best way I can describe the pink areas are thin vertical lines as fabric. The area directly below the words is mainly white.

I searched the forums and tried to reset the Pram and go through all the steps for the MSC. I started using the safe, but the rose remained. I ran the disc with no found error utilities. I tried to run the apple hardware test, but nothing happened. [The instructions said close then turn on by holding down the button D. I tried 3 times, but the icon never appeared].

I also tried 8 Tech tool for video and nothing was found.

My 15 inch Macbook Pro 13 (obtained in new end 14 h & B, started using it at the beginning of the 15) has a screen which turns off at random (dim backlight is - I can see a slight difference when I actually turn off the laptop), in addition to the programs (audio abruptly stops, etc.). Other things-

    1. It happens in bursts, which happens once and if I do the reboot thing and continue to use it, it will probably happen again in about 10 minutes, and if I continue to do, at some point it will extinguish almost immediately after I connect (but never before!...)

Hmm have you tried to reinstall / recover the laptop to see if it helps to solve this problem?
In my opinion you should try it because it could be a problem in the system.

Otherwise if new system installation / restore does not help you, it could be a malfunction of the equipment.

  • P2412H - displayed briefly and then the screen turns white.

    Hello

I got a pair of monitors of P2412H little more 3 years, bought from a dealer - I don't have tags and monitors say manufactured in September 2011 (so I think that, apart from any warranty).

This morning one of them has failed - it displays briefly, then the screen turns white.

    Manual test:

1 unplugged every wire and power button which is held for 15 seconds.

    2 reconnect the power cord.

    -Switch will blue

-L' initial Dell boot screen is displayed on the screen for less than a second.

    -L the screen turns white.

    -Stays blue power button

    3. press one of the control buttons

    -Nothing happens

    4. disconnect the monitor

    5. connect the monitor to on PC with Windows connected using DVI.

    6. connect the power cord

    -Switch will blue

-L' initial Dell boot screen is displayed on the screen for less than a second.

    -L the screen turns white.

    -Stays blue power button

I also tried to reset the monitor according to the instructions of the manual by pressing keys 1 and 4, but as the monitor does not appear, I couldn't see anything.

The monitor did briefly revived properly after one of my attempts back manually, but the after turning on and the new to check if the problem itself had set the monitor returned to the not displaying no not again.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction on how to fix it?

    Thank you

    * UPDATE *.

Disassembled the monitor I've used this as a guide to youtube to open the monitor the safely:

    cs_setInnerHtml ('video_aebd897a-01ed-42eb-a8c5-b3b6ecee6556', ");

Inspect the circuits printed for all the obvious problems such as cracked soldering or fried capacitors.

Could not see the obvious problems... you realign a couple of back vertical capacitors where some of them were in sharp corners appeared to be very close together as a result.

    Back together carefully.

Backwards and now it works very well for 48 hours.

  • MacBook Pro 2015 turns on but the screen remains black...

    Hello

Today, I tried to turn on my MacBook Pro, but my screen stays black. When I press the caps lock button, it turns green which I guess means he lit. I've also heard the startup chime it generally makes when you turn on. I already tried to turn it on and off several times and reset the SMC and the LANDAU... The screen is always black.

    Could someone help me please?

Also a few minutes ago the fan has started to make noise in the macbook...

    But the screen remains black.

    Thank you

    Shaynidw

    Hi shaynidw,

From your description, it seems that your MacBook Pro is powered, as soon as you hear the startup chime and see the light on the keyboard.  Thus, it seems that the problem may be with your screen or the video card.

On the screens you see when you start your Mac

    Power on

When you turn on your Mac, display is off (black) and you hear a startup chime. Your Mac Initializes his BootROM and memory (RAM live). It then performs a power - on that self test (POST) and a test of BootROM. If you hear beeps or chimes at this stage, this indicates a possible hardware problem and start stops. If you add memory to your Mac, check that it is installed correctly.

    White screen

After that only walking self-test is completed, your Mac sends a video signal to your connected screens. The screen may appear black or grey at this point in the boot sequence and backlight of the screen should light up. If you do not see the image appears on your screen after a few moments, try increasing the brightness of your screen. If you use an external monitor, make sure it is properly connected and turned on.

shaynidw, if set up the brightness of your screen does not help, you have an external display (computer screen or TV) that you can attach to your MacBook Pro to test?

In addition, you can try to start your computer in safe mode to see if you get different results.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

If the problem persists, you may need to take your computer to an Apple Store or service provider authorized Apple , so they can inspect the video card and cables to isolate the problem.

    Take care.
