MacBook pro white screen A1502

I have macboook pro a1502. When I start the computer, I have white screen... And I expect in 5 minutes, the light of the LCD is on... But the screen remains white. I try to press the power button / stop + ctrl + opt + r + p no effect. I don't know how to try again. In my city no call center and I don't know where to fix my mac. I have in the West of Padang, sumatra Indonesia... Sorry my English so bad... Thank you

Your Mac can do the simplest thing is to start with the down Option. This code here everything in ROM, and if you get the chime, your processor and a bit or RAM work as well.

Startup option (also known as the name of the Boot Manager) draws a blank screen, then during several minutes, adds an icon for each potentially bootable Volume. If your drives are always answers and seem to be bootable, you should get two icons, one for Macintosh HD and one for recovery. If you have a heating engineer/DVD in the drive, which must also be indicated.

    Hello Varshil07,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message, by updating your Mac you have forced stop, or you have closed the lid, and now it does not start.  To start, I suggest that try you to start in safe mode by following the instructions below.  For later use, it's a good idea to not force the computer to shut down or close the lid while it is up to date, because it can cause problems.

    1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

    2. After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

    3. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.

You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

    4. Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

To exit safe mode, restart your Mac, but no press during the startup.

  • What is the risk to replace a Macbook Pro Retina screen myself?

Hi guys, this is my first post, I recently dropped my Macbook Pro 13 inch Mid A1502 2014 for laptop, it still works but the screen is broken, lines are widespread all over the screen, I recently bought a complete of the LCD Assembly for my model, I was just wondering how risky it would be for me to fix it yourself using information online I've read a few articles from Ifixit and the sides are very positive with people who have tried and succeeded. anyone has done this before and would you recommend to me?

Here's a screenshot of my screen LCD Assembly and my Macbook Pro, thanks for the help.

If you ask the question, then you know that the risk is that you may damage the computer, the new Assembly of screen or both. Consider letting the local Apple seller fix if for you.

  • Scratches on the Macbook pro retina screen.

    Hello

I bought a Macbook pro 13 "in may 2015 Retina. In the last six months, I've noticed there are scratches that are developed not the screen. I do not use a cleaning on the screen lotion and dust with the brush dusting given to me by the retailer. He started with the corner of screens and finally spread on the screen.

As such, there is no difference in the resolution of the screen, but I was wondering if the surface of the screen will crumble over time. Please let me know the solution for the same thing.

  • MacBook Pro black screen!

The screen went black on my MacBook Pro (13-inch Retina display) 2013. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions I found online (PRAM, MSC, flashlight, etc)... the only change is that the screen changes from black to gray, but nothing else happens. Took it to the Apple Store, and they said I need a new view to the tune of $450... Ouch! I do not spend as much on a Mac for 3 years. This is my first Mac and I don't have any spare parts, nor the technical capacity to perform the repairs myself. Other (less expensive) suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You can get parts at Powerbookmedic.com and iFixit.com web sites.  They also have installation instructions.  Maybe your abilities are good enough to do it yourself, then take a look.

    Ciao.

  • MacBook Pro freezes, screen starts shaking and shuts

I am facing a problem that after starting to use the macbook for a few minutes. Screen suddenly starts to shake quickly. Everything freezes, and if all the sounds played, last moments will continue to repeat. This happens for like 10 seconds until the computer turns off completely. https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=jpvRcQLdWXc

My MacBook pro is mid 2014 13 "version. I guess it started to happen after updating to 10.11.4. I tried to reinstall and the problem is still there. Test hardware receives no error. I figured it could be a heating problem. But after, it seems that this happens even at ordinary temperatures. This screenshot is just taken immediately after a crash.

I fixed it by clearing the NVRAM.

Here's how to reset your PRAM:

    1. Turn your machine off. Yes, while down, no sleep, or a disconnection.
    2. Press the power button and press command-option-p-r. ...
    3. Hold these keys down until your Mac what it charges again and you here the startup chime.
    4. Release the keys and let your Mac restarts normally.

  • MacBook Pro with screen Retina or normal MacBook Pro?

HI, I want to buy a MacBook Pro, but I don't know what we should I buy, the retina or normal? I look at the series and videos from YouTube and I want to edit videos and my pictures if I buy one, so I thought that the retina it would be better for me, but it is too expensive. I want it with 512 ir 500g and but the MacBook Pro with retinal display costs $700 more. Also, I watched some YouTube videos that compared the MacBook Pro with Retina display vs the regular MacBook Pro. And the MacBook pro with the Retina display is faster. is there too much difference between the normal pro and the macbook with the Retina display? And there too much difference on the screen?

If you have a normal MacBook Pro or a MacBook Pro with retina Display, please tell me your experience with it. Also tell me what I should buy.

    Thank you

Your best option is to go to a store (Apple or reseller) and compare screens side by side.  Only then can you make an informed decision.

The main differences between the two models is that the retina has no DVD player and cannot have put RAM at day after purchase and the PCIe SSD updated at great expense (which will also void any warranty).

The non-retine can have the RAM has increased to a maximum 16 GB at a later date and may have installed later hard/SSD drives of up to 2 TB of capacity.

    Ciao.

    Hello

For a long time I have in my Macbook Pro retina and and a few days ago I just know that there is a site that some users have been implemented to inform this anomaly in the quality of Apple laptops Macbook Pro retina screen.

It is very annoying and it is not a solution. However, I saw that on the www.staingate.org site all users with this problem are eligible for a full exchange of the screen.

Do you know if there is a time limit for a full exchange of the screen? Users with more than 3 years with full screen replaced there Facebook page "https://www.facebook.com/groups/607572909386595/" and www.staingate.org .

  • I think to buy a new MacBook to replace my MacBook pro mid-2010, which still runs but becomes slow.  They say the current MacBook pro without retina display (which I don't think I need) is an old system and may be obsolete soon - true?

I'm buying a new MacBook to replace my mid-2010 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel core 2 duo, 4 GB of memory, which always runs, but becomes slow.   I don't think I need retina display (if I have a lot of photos and films on the subject), but I was told that the MacBook Pro without screen retina was an old system that Apple could not support much longer. Is this true?

    Barbara cfrompa says:

but I was told that the MacBook Pro without screen retina was an old system that Apple could not support much longer. Is this true?

Apple only can answer such a question, and the terms of use for these forums discourage us discuss what Apple plans to do.

I too have a MBP 2010.  I installed an SSD and that increased performance.  Consider that as an option.

You may experience other problems that slows down your MBP.  Before commit you the important cash for a new MBP, examine the potential software problems that may be responsible for the poor performance.  With the SSD, my 2010 works better than the day he came out of the box.

  • Part number of MacBook Pro late 2013 SSD

    Hello

I have acquired a used MacBook Pro late 2013 (A1502 - EMC 2678) a few months ago, in which the DSS had been removed.

I knew that I had to replace the SSD when I bought this MacBook and found on the ifixit site that I had to buy an SSD with a part number in this list: 661-1838, 661-8136, 661-8138 (256 GB SSD).

"I've finally found one on Amazon Market place, and the SSD was announced as follows:" (661-8136, 661-8138) 256 GB Solid State Drive - Apple MacBook Pro 13 retina "A1502 / 15" A1398 (end of 2013, mid-2014).

But when I got the SSD, I noticed that the part number is printed on it is '655-1803D", which is the part number for MacBook Air Mid 2013 - 2015 SSD.

I contacted the seller to an Exchange, thinking that they had sent the wrong item, but he told me that the product was properly advertised on Amazon and showed me his description which indicates that following:

    Identification numbers:

    -Apple part No.: 661-8136, 661-8138

    -The printed part #: 655-1803, 655-1817, 655-1838

    -Manufacturer B21: MZ-JPU256T / 0 *, SD6PQ4M - 256G, THNSN2256GSPS

    So my questions are:

"Print" (those that appear on the SSD) part numbers are supposed to be the same as the Apple part number, or they are independent of each other?

Are SSD with part number cell phones compatible with MacBook pro computers A1502 655-1803 ' printed'?

    Thank you.

If it is, in fact, a number of part of Apple on the outside label of the SSD it should be certified by the manufacturer to run in an Apple/Mac products. SSD information displays the drive model number in disk label utility. These Apple Certified SSD will run through multiple products of Macbook. I hope this helps.

    Bravo!

  • Of failure, white screen MacBook Pro HARD drive try to boot from the external HARD drive

    Hello

I have a 2008 Macbook Pro which is having some problems, I was able to fix them, but eventually the hard drive failed. I know that because at startup until it would have a white screen Uni (no logo) and you can hear a clicking on in the lower left corner. I thought initially it was a memory problem, but after opening and verification of memory, it's clearly the hard drive.

I solved this problem temporarily (until I can replace the HARD disk) by installing El captain on an external HARD disc and start from that. Here's the twist, I couldn't he can begin to El captain, I tried CMD + R, CMD + OPT + R, CMD + OPT + R + P and now shift. Everything that's happened would be that clicks would cease to release the keys.

I left the macbook on while I'm at work, when I got home it was on the screen to connect the external HARD drive.

I accidentally closed the macbook yesterday and again once when I tried to log on, I could not and I left it on a white screen while I was sleeping. There is a possibility that he may have launched from the HARD drive when I get home, but if not, is there something that escapes me to force do this?

    See you soon

Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

    • Hardware failure
    • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
    • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt
    • A firmware update is necessary

No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.
