Satellite A200-1DN - network drivers of Windows XP Home edition for imaging

(By an employee of the State), we have a number of laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1DN.
How many they are, we expect the image to reduce labor overhead for the updates and maintenance, etc..

However, the drivers despite the WXP is finally out, they contain no instructions as to which files
to implement the image so that the network drivers works.

Any help or pointing to a set of instructions are much appreciated.

Hello

Looks like the Satellite A200-1DN would belong to the series of PSAE0E.
You must choose the XP drivers exactly for the A200 series. That s important!

AFAIK the notebooks also supports the Realtek RTL8101 Family Fast EthernetLAN chip.

If you want you can try to install the original XP driver from the site Web of Realtek. It should also run.

Good luck

  • Satellite A300-203 - need drivers in Windows XP Home edition for the HDMI output

    Hello world!

Given the poor performance of Vista, I decided to install XP on this machine. I installed all the drivers (from the Toshiba Site) available for my laptop XP, everything is a work, * but HDMI Out does not work *.

I tried to install the driver Vista 'HDMI CONTROL MANAGER' (XP specific drivers for the hdmi not available on the toshiba support site). HDMI worked after that on my TV but then I got a blue screen, the operating system crashed. I decided to uninstall the driver again just in case.

Is there a solution to get the HDMI out works under XP? A good pilot? Something reliable?

    Thanks for your help!

    Greetings from the Spain

    Hello

My U400 supports HDMI port and I installed Win XP on it.
I didn't install any control HDMI for Vista Manager
    It was not necessary!

My Win XP is updated, I installed the graphics driver and all the other drivers, the tools available for Win XP!
That was enough to get the job of HDMI

You must ensure that your BIOS is up to date.
In addition, you must install common Module utilities, controls and don't forget that your graphics driver is up to date!

Then, you would be able to use the FN + F5 to switch to the TV

  • Satellite M100-165 - need drivers in Windows XP Home edition

Any body please help me where can I download a newer driver for my laptop Toshiba Satellite M100-1211E (PSMAAL - 01 P 004) run with Window XP SP2 comfortable, when I use Windows Vista, driver it is OK but use with Window XP driver fail to function as for example could not found mic, Fn key could not operate with all functions

    Thank you
    HChau

The PSMAAL series is unclear to me. I guess you mean the Satellite M100 PSMAIE.

From my personal experience, the FN keys does not work because the BIOS does not support.
Toshiba European page offers two versions of the BIOS.
One for Vista and one for XP. Seems that the 2.8 version supports only the XP and not Vista.

So if you have installed the XP you must update the BIOS to the correct version to get all functions running.
In addition, please follow the installation instructions located on the driver page.

Please install also all MS QFEs. This is very important! And upgrade the XP to the last State.

    Best regards

  • Why the Satellite A100 PSAAN drivers of Windows XP Home edition?

I won't work with vista all the time but Toshiba makes me use all the time because they do not support drivers for Windows XP Home edition. And I have to work with WXP because vista does not work with some programs that I need and that is not good.

I need them immediately and I still ask why the drivers for Windows XP Home edition are not there?

[Edited by: admin on May 6, 2007 14:19]

    Hi Duge

As you update and upgrade are typical in PC world and these processes have priority and are definitely looking to the future. Downgrade still isn't back. It is also important but has no priority as upgrade.

I assume that upgrade supported for all mobile phones capable of Vista is not yet complete. I'm pretty sure that new notebook will build for Windows XP Home Edition, but it may take a little time. Be patient. You can also view other topics on this technical forum. You will find lots of useful information about OS downgrade.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Satellite L40 - no sound after reinstalling Windows XP Home edition

I really need help from anyone out there. I installed Windows XP Home edition on my Toshiba Satellite L40 after that I realized, there is no sound. I tried to install all kinds of updates, drivers and all, but still nothing.

All make me is that I have no audio device.
Grateful for the help as soon as possible.
    Holla.

Do you have the yellow marks in Device Manager?
Are you sure that you have installed all the drivers?

Have you installed SP2 or SP3 for Windows XP? You must at least use SP2 for XP.

And as said Akuma, check the Microsoft KB to the hoftixes. Before you apply this update, you must remove the driver. Otherwise it will not work.

You can also search in the forum, there are already discussions on this topic.

  • Satellite L40-139 - need driver Windows XP Home edition for 'ethernet '.

Please can you send me the link to Satellite L40 ethernet control model of laptop for Windows XP Home edition?

    Hello

Satellite L40-139 belongs to the PSL40E series. Am I wrong?
You can check the serial number of your laptop. It should be placed somewhere at the bottom of the unit. Check all labels.

Anyway, the Toshiba driver European page doesn't provide XP drivers for this series at this time. Seems you have to wait a bit until all pilots to be released!

For the only moment that two versions of the BIOS for L40 PSL40E if released.
The BIOS must be updated to the XP version, if you want to use XP on this laptop.

By the way; It seems that this series is supported by the Base map - TX Ethernet Realtek 10/100.
Then you can try the LAN driver from the site Web of Realtek. Should also work.

    Good bye

  • Satellite U400-10 has: Downgrade from Windows XP Home edition

I got my laptop U400-10 for XP. Few things left pending:

    1. How can I get the LED on the top of the screen (and Satellite/power LED) to decrease intensity again by pressing the LED light on the top of the screen? Worked under vista. Cannot run Windows XP Home edition. Probably a Toshiba driver... but the Witch one?

    2. I get a Device Manager question mark in front of audio storage devices and mass HD. I checked the internet and it seems related to the HDMI port. But how to fix it? I can't identify the right Toshiba drivers on the page/download driver Toshiba.

    3. How can I get Bluetooth (with the standard windows drivers)? Bluetooth Monitor driver Toshiba form doesn't seem to work.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Concerning

    Hello

(1.) I think you could turn on and off the LED of Illumination in the BIOS.
But maybe it s not supported under Win XP.

    (2) some features are not supported by XP. This unit is probably the module of Robson former Turbo Memory. This material will be supported only by Windows Vista so there is no driver Windows XP.

    (3) possibly you have ONLY installed the BT monitor. It is a diagnostic utility, and if you want to use BT you need a driver of BT.
The BT driver can be downloaded from the page of the portal of BT or driver Toshiba

  • Cannot get Windows XP Home Edition for a mapped network drive / share on a computer of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

I constantly tried to use the "NET USE" syntax to get a Windows XP Home system to keep & share mapped network drive on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit of the system and nothing I tried or worked on ANY blog. I can map the current network through made normal drive right click on 'My computer' and then provide a designation of drive letter with the correct path and have had great success using the function "connect using a different user name." However, even with the box checked to re-connect to the opening of the service is WORTHLESS! I made a lot of attempts to use the Net use syntax to create a batch file to overcome this non-functional raw application. I would really appreciate someone who actually had this issue resolved and work. I have looked at all the Windows files on the XP machine, searched the registry about a possible switch, which could make the necessary changes and have made all necessary changes on the Windows 7 system to accept the mapped network share. Help!

    Hello

Since you have a network with different OS' I hope that Win 7 is configured to run on asnetwork work.

If evry thing is configured properly it can be a problem of how your router keep information network. With the help of Staic DHCP or IP static on computers could help solve the problem.

Just in case you need to reconfigure your network.

    ---------------

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Working network = fundamentally similar to previous methods of sharing that allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_name.jpg

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall isactive .

Since you have a network with Win 7 and the other version of Windows, you must configure Windows 7 as work network.

In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.

Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.
