• Mahjong Titans on Vista

  Whenever I start Mahjong Titans I get the dialog box asking me if I want to continue a saved game.  No matter what I do (answer Yes and finish the game, meet and play another layout, etc...)  whenever I start the game, I get the same dialog box.  Is there any solution for this? Maybe a setting in the registry?

• How can I get Mahjong Titans to randomize tile placement?

  How can I get Mahjong Titans to randomize the placement of tile in each presentation.  It seems that whenever I chose a layout, I get the same tile scheme and have to keep reselecting the provision, which produces the placement of tile predefined following until I finally get to one that I have not played.  Without randomization, it's virtually worthless after the first week.

  There also seem to be some patterns that appear any iteration of a layout, I generate (for example, in the turtle, regardless of the tile is at the top of the heap will have a matching tile among the four tiles it is sitting on).  You can very well play on movements of opening with closed eyes for each version of each layout.

(If you don't have a saved game, Mahjong Titans starts a new game. If you have a saved game, you can continue your previous game). 3. Select the tile layout: Turtle, Dragon, cat, fortress, crab, or spider. 4. click on the first tile that you want to remove. 5. click on the matching tile and two tiles will disappear.

  For several days, when I try from Win 7 of Mahjong Titans games, all I get is a brief hourglass and then nothing.

  I tried a boot minimum without result, off and then turn on the Mahjong, run sfc/scannow, memtest and after all this still the same short hourglass and then nothing.

  It was too simple.

  Not an answer as to what caused the problem or how to fix. I just copied the folder Appdata Mahjong since one my laptop at the place right on the offending machine.

  All is well now.

  Have you checked to make sure this game is already on your computer?  Newer games, including the new games that come with this version of Windows, located in the Games folder. Some older games may need to be added to the Games folder.

  Open the Games folder by clicking on the button Start , allprograms, clicking games, and then clicking Games Explorer.

  If you do not see this game in your games folder, I show you can go and download this game online by other companies.  You can then add the game in your games folder, after you download.  I added the steps below.  Please let us know status.  Thank you!

• The previous game Mahjong Titans scores are lost

  When I played Mahjong Titans previously appeared the number of games played and won.  This week, when I open the game, it shows the game as a new session each time and the number of previous games played and won is lost etc.

  -What version of Windows is installed on your computer?

  Check the following location so you have all the files saved.

  C:\Users\your-account-name\Saved Games Games\Mahjong

  I suggest to reinstall the game and then check if the problem persists.

  1. click on start, then type turn on or off windows features and press ENTER.

  2. tap on the Plus sign mark before games and remove the check mark from Mahjong Titans.

  3. Press ok and restart the computer.

  4. once the computer is restarted, go to the same place and place a check for Mahjong Titans and press ok and restart the computer.

  Note: the above steps work with Windows vista and Windows 7.

  Try to play a game and when finished, restart the computer and check whether or not the game of Mahjong titans history is saved.

  If the problem persists, I suggest to create a new user account and check.

  Chess and Mahjong titans can be installed on a 32-bit Vista computer?  It is a 2 years old machine and didn't come w / these games.  He had all it's shots (service packs).  If so, how.

• Mahjong Titans was "Falling Tiles" Sound at the beginning of the game

  After having upgraded from Vista 64 for Win7 64, I noticed that the sound "falling tiles" at the opening of the games of Mahjong Titans is now really bad quality.  All other sounds in the game are very well (even under Vista 64).  I was wondering if there is an audio file that is corrupted in the version of Win 7?

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game (via Windows power features) and uses the latest audio drivers etc...

  Any advice much appreciated.

  Mahjong Titans is available only for Windows Vista and Windows 7 and not Windows XP. Also note that Mahjong Titans is not included in Windows Vista Home Basic or Windows Vista Starter edition.

  Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

  2. type the following command and press ENTER:

  sfc/scannow

  3. the sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

  If it does not help to register a new account to user if the same problem occurs. To create a new user account

  1. to open user accounts, click the Start button, select Control Panel, click on accounts of users and parental controlsand then click user accounts.

  2. click on Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. click on create a new account.

  4 type the name that you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click create an account.

  If the new user account works fine then the old account has been corrupted, you can follow the link given below to fix the corrupted user profile.
