  The text size is so low in the views of folders for primary e-mail that it is very difficult to read the subject lines of emails. I think I remember that earlier versions 'Zoom' has been activated and you could adjust the size. Looks like that the size is set at approximately 6 pt type. Must be at least 12 points. • iPhone cuts read the mail when you open the mail application and pushing new messages

  Everytime I open the mail application on my iPhone 6 (9.2.1) all my mail previously reading disappears as soon as it pushes new messages.

• Cannot manually change the default e-mail reader more.

  I'm want to use Kiwi to Gmail as my default e-mail client. And to do this, I have to use Messaging to change default e-mail reader. Well, when I select the reader to e-mail by default from the inside of the Mall, it won't keep the settings. It simply returns to its previous settings. I open Thunderbird or Outlook, and they have set for the default client. And settings from one session to another. But the General control panel inside the Mail will not work. I can't even to prevent the "Mail" more as a client by default. Simply, it will switch to Outlook or Thunderbird.

  If only it was not fixed, so it's more probablyy caused by an Antivirus/Firewall. Symantec Antivirus seems to cause this issue often (as well as other AVs). In this case, try to disable the mailscanner in your Antivirus and see if that solves the problem. Or disable the Antivirus add-ins related via Outlook. See here how to proceed:

  Read / unread is purely an indicator. It has no real meaning. If you go into the menu (alt + T) tools > options > advanced > reading and display, you can change when a mail is marked as read in immediately to 10 seconds (this is what outlook express used) up to 1000 seconds.
