• Assignment of VLANS on catalyst express 520

  Hello

  I ache to configure a switch to catalyst Express 520-8PC. Could it, it is not possible to assign different VLAN than '1' in access to this switch ports? I hope it is possible and I have just found this option again. If this is the case, can we please refernce to some white paper or a guide (or simply explain how and where it should be done)?

  I tried either on the web-fronend and CCA/NAC (unfortunately it isn't all cli support) and not found anywhere in the configuration.

  According to the data sheet, the 500 series supporsts VLAN up to 32.

• Automatic configuration for routers, switches Catalyst and ASA backups

  I am looking for a free solution to make monthly backups of my routers (2821), Catalyst (X 3650, 3750-X) switches and ASA (5510). I'm in a Windows environment and have you not mind doing a bit of coding.

  I did some research looking at other popular solutions:

  -SNMP and a combination of Bash scripts, but that does not support switches Catalyst from what I've read.

  -Rance, on Linux & OS X, not something common in our environment

  -Tools of Tao kiwi, not free

  Is there something (or if applicable, somethings) that I am missing that will do this from a Windows environment for free?

  Kron seems to be supported on the routers only, ASA here is a good explanation on how to collect the backups regularly:

  If you are looking for a centralized solution and you machine to act as a collector, rancid is really the best option (if you can allow non-windows machines).

  I configured the UCS chassis with 5 blades and installed the esxi on all five blades...

  I created a VNIC 10 per server and by now I have ip for esxi management by combining two NICs for and YEW is connected to the switch catalyst 2960. The uplinks are 1 Gig at the END and at the end of the switch... and I made these trunk at the end of the switch, all permitted the VLAN on the trunk link

  I have configured all the VLANS on during vNIC based on a model and all of those selected. vlan1 is the vlan by default & selected the same.

  Please help me to solve the problem... I got tired of all the means & could not able to find a solution.

  Do the same on your 2960 switches.  You see the mac addresses on the ports of 2960 connected for the UCSM uplinks?

  To use vNetwork Distributed Switch, you need the license of vSphere Enterprise Plus.  Another version of vSphere does not include this feature.  You also need a vCenter Server license.

  Ok. So, use the block if/then/else, as suggested in my previous answer (I added that, in your NBS and it worked).

  When the user presses enter switching must stop and it should have control over the Group of radio buttons.

  Then, you should stop the timer in this button actionPerformed.

• The switch Catalyst 3560 G Web Interface problem

  I have a problem with my switch to Cisco Catalyst 3560 G. The web interface does not work (I tried IE11, IE6, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari).

  There is only displayed icons but no text:

  To try to solve the problem, I have updated the switch to its latest version of IOS (from 12.2 (55) to 12.2 SE7 (55) SE9). But the problem persists

  I think I found the problem and a workaround for this.

  The problem comes from the language of the webbrowser.

  I got exactly the same problem with the same model with the same version of IOS.

  I checked with the debugging tools in firefox and I find the browser want to get (firefox in french for my case) 2 scripts:

  http:///fr/charset.js

  http:///fr/re_preflight.js

  But there isn't any record of en flash: / C3560...

  So I changed the preferred language in firefox (put English first). Reload the Web page and it works very well ;)

  I need a configuration using any. I have a small network of 15 users a 3560, which is in turn connected to a router ISR 2811. Interface fastethernet 0/24 switch 3560 I intend to connect to a unix based server RADIUS. ISP is connected on the opposite side of the 2811 to the fa0/0 interface.

  I want to make is that if someone among the 15 users tries to access the internet, they must be validated in the RADIUS server by their pre-configured user credentials. (I'm going to store 15 user credentials here). If someone else tries to connect (except those 15) he or she should be denied internet access.

  The RADIUS server will be having a login page to type the name of user and password.

  Please guide based on what commands I should inject into the 3560 or what specifically, I need to have to run this task.

  I'm having a problem saving some ws-ce520-24pc-k9 in my v4.9 (1) Server NAC, I finished all the configuration of snmp and when I join the switch at the NAC, it is added ok but when I try to manage the ports to add to a port profile, nothing is show at the NAC, I mean that there are no ports in this device.

  Has anyone written an express catalyst with a NAC solution?

  British Colombia, by default, the file can be .htm, but which is not returned on your site by default will have no file extension (url path to clean the nice)
