Make an editable rehearsal

Having a devil of a time with it. Let me break it down.

I have a navigation bar. On the navigation bar, when you click on a link. It will show you the link (really a box) green. This requires my code... class = "active" on the page that your now on.

The only problem with that. What the hell to make a model DW.

I got my bar of nav as a repeat region. So that in the future, I can edit a link or redraw a button. But this makes my unmodifiable nav bar in the new pages. I have to be able to change the < a > tags. I have for them to change... < a href = "whatever" > to < a href = "whatever" class = "active" >

Here is my code so far. I perform the < a > tags can be changed, but when I change the titles of the master model binding, they will not update

< div class = "hand-box" >

< div class = "top-angle left" >

< div class = "inner" > <!-TemplateBeginRepeat name = "MenuRepeat"->

< nav >

< ul >

"" < class li 'first' = > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "Editlink1"-> < a href = "... / index.html" class = "active" > < span > < span > comments </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >

"< li > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name ="Editlink2"-> < a href ="... / guides.html "> < span > < span > Guides </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >.

"< li > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name ="Editlink3"--> < a href ="... / New_Updates.html "> < span > < span > News & amp;  Updates </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >

< li > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "EditLink4"--> < a href = "#" > < span > < span > downloads </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >

< li > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "Editlink5"--> < a href = "#" > < span > < span > store </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >

< li > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "Editlink6"-> < a href = "#" > < span > < span > Forums </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >

< class = "last" li > <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "Editlink7"-> < a href = "#" > < span > < span > Soapbox </span > < / span > < /a > <!-TemplateEndEditable--> < /li >

This is a wrong approach to the problem, and one that translates the contortions you will now try to make it work!

Consider this VERY simple alternative approach and one that is consistent with the notion that the navigation elements should never be editable in a model environment.

Note that each link of the menu has been given a unique ID attribute.  The page now - in the editable region in each child's head, you have a style sheet embedded -.

It is in an editable area, so it can be changed on each page, where you would simply change the key # to match this page.  Simple, effective and easy.

  • Make body editable tag attribute

    I created a template in dreamweaver 2015 and I need to make the Body editable attribute tag.

    I followed the instructions: modify > templates > make attribute editable.

    The problem is that I don't know how to set it up. Here's what I need the tag to be: id = 'House' body class = "bodbg" > and I need to be able to change the ID on each page of the child.

    Can someone shed some light on this for me?

    Thank you!

    Modify > templates > make attribute editable.  See screenshots.

    On the page of the child.  Edit > properties of the model > change the name of the class.  Repeat for other pages of the child.

  • Make the editable attribute

    Hello world

    I used the function 'Make attribute editable' DW CS4 so that I can change the class on a h3 on pages given birth from a template, for example.

    < h3 id = "banner_home" class = "@(image_name) @" > text goes here. < / h3 >

    This will only allow me to change the name of the class, but I was wondering if there was a way to also change the text in the h3, IE. where it says 'insert text here. "

    Is this possible?

    Appreciate any assistance.

    All you have to do is to add an editable region between the tags.  Since the content between the tags is not an attribute of tags, you can't do it with editable attributes, but a simple combo box will do the trick.

  • What I make whenever I make an edit?

    Hello

    Is there a preview of the changes mode and mixes without having to make?

    Thank you

    Rich

    No, you don't have to make, unless it was a part of your project that you have trouble to play without rendering.

    If your Media Player is fast enough, you can probably do all your editing without rendering. The usual recommendation is to transform the "merits of rendering".

    Unless there is heavy effects, even a relatively modest mac with a decent car can handle most chronology 1080 p without rendering. If part of your timeline stutters, the rendering is usually sufficient.

  • copy a film and make an edited version

    I created a movie that is 28 minutes. I want to make a shorter version of the same movie and keep the original. Can I just change the initial project and then save it under a new name, or something like that? Or I have to start over from scratch?

    I use iMovie 10.1

    It's easy to do.  Duplicate the project in the projects view, change the name of the duplicate if you want, and then open and edit actions and unwanted material on the outside.  The original will remain as it was.

  • Problem with movie maker and edit and remove a superimposed title.

    I'm doing a movie with Windows Movie Maker.  I added a title I've superimposed, but do not because it is too much and covers the image.  I tried to remove the title by clicking on the table of the storyboard by clicking edit to remove the title.  It does not remove the title.  I also tried to remove the photo thinking the overlay would remove with the image, but rather the superimposed title passes just to the next image.  I'm frustrated.   Help, please.

  • Windows Live Movie Maker - video editing MP4

    I recently returned from a trip with some MP4 videos taken on my new GoPro Hero2. When I play videos in Windows Media Player they are sharp and crisp. • Convert all files to PDF / leader/acrobat photoshop and make them editable

    Hello

    I will start a small business where customers will download the files that I need to change then. I want to allow customers to download any type of file so that I can then convert it to a PDF file or any file acrobat / illustrator file etc so that I can change it.

    Is this possible?

    If so, what software adobe would allow me to do this? will it be illustrator, photoshop, or any other?

    TIA

    There is no single solution and PDF is a choice very little helpful for editing. You need ro be accurate and precise. People slow to download files created with a particular software THAT YOU OWN. Change in the original software. You may need the exact version.

    When the installation is FINISHED, make a PDF, not before.

  • How can I wrap text on several lines when make an editable PDF file?

    I'm transforming shape study guide PDF in a document that can be typed directly to. Some questions have multiple answers lines, so when I convert the shape into something editable, she designs each as separate individual line entry. I want to be able to type on one line and that the text wrap down to the other lines. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Here is an example...

    text wrap.PNG

    How am I able to get the text typed in these 4 lines to wrap to the next line?

    Thank you

    -Jake

    Edit: If I can't do this in Acrobat DC, is there any other software do know you who can afford to do this?

    You can use a single multi-line text field. Just remove the three substantive fields, make the upper field taller, then tab of the field properties dialog box Options, select the option "multiline". If the underlying form lines, set the background color to white to only show through, since they will probably not match line spacing. You may be able to set the font size to fit well.

  • Make an editable PDF is no longer editable. Is this possible?

    I created a PDF document with ares modifiable for use within my company. This is in order to give prizes to our customers. The document has been made available to all within our company. But the question that I'm running, is that the document, once the information is provided on and ready to be sent to the customer, must have new security settings applied, so that the customer can no longer edit fields. So in a sense, the document must be "crushed."  But, I'm the only person in the office with Acrobat 9 pro, everyone had the drive.
    Is there a way to make the document secure/non-editable/flattened once the content has been added to it?

    I do not think that you must flatten the document, just sign the document with a digital signature. The file will show then no sign of forced entry.
