Windows Live Movie Maker - video editing MP4

I recently returned from a trip with some MP4 videos taken on my new GoPro Hero2. When I play videos in Windows Media Player they are sharp and crisp. However, when I load into Windows Live Movie Maker, they lose their resolution and become much less clear-cut. My intention was to W Live Movie Maker allows to cut videos and also (for some videos) to take snapshots of some of the images in the videos.

Can someone tell me if there a way to avoid the loss of resolution?

t; Preview he in Movie Maker shows you a lower quality project of the record... When you save the movie to a HD definition should be comparable to the file of the GoPro Hero 2.

I have the same model of GoPro and fine work of editing/backup using Movie Maker for a high quality video...

  • Need help as soon as POSSIBLE! I can't turn the volume on Windows Live Movie Maker and video is slow

I'm reading a file .mov on Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 Version (Build 15.4.3555.0308). I had to install the media player codec pack (version 4.2.3.1001 the file) in order to get the video to play on WLMM and he finally managed to where I could see the video, but now will not play sound. I went into Edit and the Volume of the video and mute is activated, but he won't let me not reactivate the sound by clicking on it. The scroll bar can slide backwards, but does not make a difference. Already, I went and "repaired" Windows Live Movie Maker in my programs. The video has sound when he played on Windows Media Player isn't the video or the speakers.

In addition, the video is very slow and jumpy. It's almost as if it was in slow motion or something.

Help, please!  I need to have this video made as soon as POSSIBLE. I need to be able to start editing here tomorrow!

    Thank you

So... just to clarify... MP4 extension or WLMP or something else?

If the files are MP4, you will need to convert them to WMV format before

  • Publication of video problem on Windows Live Movie Maker

I'm trying to publish my first video on Windows Live Movie Maker, and whenever I try to post it on YouTube or whatever, I get a pop up window that says, "the system cannot find the path specified."

Is someone can you please tell me how I can help the system to find the path?

    Hi hershey992,

Have you tried to publish any another video?

First, you try to copy and paste the file published on another location on the hard disk, and then try to upload to YouTube.

Music and video files that are protected by the management of digital rights (DRM) cannot be used in Windows Live Movie Maker.

Try installing codecs and check whether the problem is resolved.

You can use your favorite search engine to download and install the Codecs.
