If you want to do this on the same page then it is not possible as BC pushes first the tag head before making the liquid in the page.

For example, this will does not work:

{capture myblockoftext %} myblockoftext {endcapture %}}

With JSON already on the page, for example on the large page of the product you can do something like this and it will display 150 characters of description of the product (Yes, not exactly what you need):

Contributablelement can be used to fill a META tag in the head section?
We currently use UCM 10 gR 4 with SSPU.

We would like to use a part of the contribution to allow contributors to add text that could fill the META tags (keywords and Description) that are in the HEAD of a node section.

In most cases, there is a 1-1 relationship between nodes and content items (placeholders).

I have already built a solution for this using the custom properties of the Section, but it is better to let the contributor to the review/update metadata with another due element values. Then the text entered can be examined within the workflow element is more prominent to the contributor.

The next best solution would be to use a metadata field to update meta tags.

Any suggestions?

liquid tags not made in the shopping cart?

I shall preface this by saying that I am so frustrated that I am about to necking.
For some reason, I have completely failed to understand the basic principles of operation between the basket and the basket of purchase as well as pages. We use the ability of Oracle UCM to dynamically generate pages based on page templates, model region and data files of contributor contributors can edit and publish. We have a specific need to include meta tags in the head section of each page that are customized for the data present in each contributor data file. Including meta tags in the model of the region that relates to a section of our site Web do not work, because it does not include a < head > section. How to restore the catalog section to its original state?

For a previous book, I deleted some tags in the catalog section out-of-the-box. Now I don't have the full set of STANDARD tags for use in a new book.
I have an old document with all tags OOTB, and I can import these tags from the new book. But it would be much easier to simply go back to the original catalogue. Is there a way to do this?

You can't have two functions with the same name. You need only to add the track line to the existing function.

User error needs help correction-> repeatable Tag on the attribute custom section

Okay, I v.6111. Today, I put manually the tag supplier_eq_create on all the existing attributes in our sections for suppliers can add them when we send the EQS. Unfortuately, I accidentally clicked on the reproducible tag instead of Supplier_EQ_Create in some cases in our environment Export/setting in scene. As long as you are sure that nobody use it you can remove this tag with a database script.

As with all scripts, make sure that you back up your data.

With the following script, you can find the lines that contain the reproducible tag of a particular section model

It is not on a loop through. In available just change the tag in the liquid equivalent. Not all tags have a release of liquid.

Why aren't my "Meta Names' being placed in the head section?

I add my cents each 'description' and 'Keywords' page in the command Insert menu > head > (keywords or Description) in Dreamweaver. I thought that this data was supposed to go in the 'head' of the code section. Instead is put at the top of the source code. My question is... is it still valid and appropriate for the specific code that search engines can find? I am new to coding and not sure what is happening.
The reason why, in my view, this is a problem because all my pages are based on a model. Everything on each subsequent page is designed/coded in an 'editable' on the model. Each page is unique and requires its own set of tags. If I added to the real template file meta tags, it would be to go into the "head" of the model section and appear the same on every page on the site, which is false.
Is the place where DW is automatically put the correct code (on these pages of models), when I add (from the DW menu bar)? If this is not the case, what is the solution and where it needs to go. The metadata must be in the head only, or are there exceptions to this? Is this a problem?

taken IFRAME supported by script code in the head section

Hi all
I'm having the following problem. I need to insert an iframe with the content of XE currency converter. This requires a script code in the head of <>< / head > section and the iframe in the body. With Xara, I used until recently, it was a piece of cake, because in a single window, the two codes could be inserted in the sections on the window. So my question is there a widget that is doing the work or how to make this work.
I tried with the html objects putting the code at the top of the page and the iframe section where it belongs. I tried to put the two codes in a html object. None seems to work.

Hi Eric, sorry for the late reply. Yes I did, and it did not work. I've been tweaking a little. I don't know if it's the rule or the exception. But being a little desperate trying all combinations. Which doesn't seem to work, it's that put codes of head and body in a html object with what should be in the head section properly labeledand the part of the body without the tags. This method works. But it would be much easier if the page properties allows to have also a field for thecode.

Question about the display of the metadata of jpeg in lightroom

I briefly crossed the material of the SDK, but there are some aspects remaining unclear for me. More in detail, I would like to show the tag RegionName jpg file in LR metadata for research etc. This tag contains the Picasa face recognition data. I have already experienced the exiftool and how to add names to RegionName to the subject or keywords Tags in jpg-file and corresponding .xmp file to the raw file. However, I would like to find an elegant solution by showing the tag in the LR directly. Before you try to do the LUA code, I want to understand a few basic principles behind the plugin programming namely:
(1) how to read the label RegionName since the jpg file and in what part of the plug-in? Is there a way to make LR read whenever "metadata file reading" is used?
(2) how "publish" it displayed in the metadata Panel on the right side of the LR (this is handled a bit in the examples, even if I don't understand the reference to the com.adobe.xxx know what structure is really referring to?)
Comments and help is welcome on this page or any advice where to find information!

LR provides access only to certain fields of metadata, not all. RegionName is not one of the fields that LR is known, then you will not be able to use metadata methods of the SDK to access or display it. In general, plugins that want to access this type of metadata to run the free Exiftool on the images and then analyze the output of Exiftool.

The ExifMeta plugin exposes all the metadata that is accessible by Exiftool as custom in LR metadata fields. I suggest you to try this plugin see if it meets your needs. If it isn't, you can examine its source code as an example of how to use Exiftool to access and view metadata. Plugin author Rob Cole is a contributor of this forum and quite willing to answer the questions.
