makes a sound "tchopp" opening each new web page, started recently, Mac OS 10.8
Firefox version for mac 19. I tried to disable plugins one: update of Java 7 17. QuickTime 7.7.1; 14.3.2 SharePoint; Shockwave not flash 11.6.602.180 - no help. The noise does not occur using Safari. I also deleted and reinstalled Firefox and accessing an earlier version using Time machine. Nothing helps. The sound is loud enough to be heard in the next room! I can of course put the speakers on mute but would rather have a silent firefox! Thank you
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.
(If you use it, switch to the default theme).
- You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

Setting to open all new web pages "full width inside". I do not mean "full screen".
You can use "control +" to make a web page expand to fill the width of the screen. If you clear your history of this 'size' will be remembered the next time that you open the web page. I want to new web pages to automatically fill the entire width of my screen when I load them. Ideally, I have clear my history, I want all web pages to fill the entire width of my screen. I do not mean "full screen". I don't know if all browsers has this same question.

Since the last update when I load a new web page, the page loads fine but as soon as its loading, it just goes right to the bottom of the page - its very annoying I'm under Aurora on windows XP service pack 3
Thanks Cor - el your advice has solved the problem.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

leave the animation to a new web page (using the file .oam Edge in MUSE)
Hello
Ok. Here's the situation. I have a Web page that was made in MUSE, on this page, there is a click of the mouse button that starts an animation on board.
Once the animation is completed, I want a (automatic) action that displays a new Web page on the same website.
I tried implementing a "timeline stop" action on the main stage
window.open ("http://homie0106.businesscatalyst.com/menu-1.html");
No dice. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Bob
I have it. The method I posted worked there... once I corrected my mistake of hyperlinking.

Thank you!

Firefox does not open a new tab page, when I click on the small + firefox does not respanw, but if I use right mouse botton -> tab double as it opens a new tab how can I solve this?
Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.
There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:
- Check the control panel Windows for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
- Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

How to stop a PDF file to open as a web page?
For some reason, now when I open a PDF file, they always open as a web page. This is problem with me being able to send the document itself, edit, etc.. How can I change that so it goes back to the opening in the drive to open a web page to display?
You must change the .pdf file association to open with Adobe Reader, not Firefox.
If you need help with that, tell us about your operating system.

Cannot create a new web page.
I have a website and a blog set Contribute. If I navigate on the web site, index page. You then hit connect. So far, everything is ok. If I file > new or hit the new button on the tool bar I get a new black blog page. I discovered a way around, he had to use the link toolbar and click New. Then I see the dialog box with the option create new black or new model-based. Then I go back to the original page and remove the link that has been packed.
Any ideas what I need to do to create a new page based on a free template of must create a link I don't want first?

It's the light towersHi Steve,.
Can you check in preferences in Contribute in the Blog Defaults section, if the box - "Create a new blog entry, when you click on the new button" is checked? If so, you can uncheck it and check whether you are able to create new web pages.

I want to control the number of tabs open in a window by opening a tab manually. I don't want a tab to open every time I change again web page.
It affects specific sites, such as Google? I forget Google because it has a setting to launch each result in a new window, Firefox can be confusing on a new tab.
Do you have any extensions related to tab Mix Plus tax? You can check on the next screen and either try to disable or adjust their settings by using the Options button:
orange button to Firefox (or tools) > addons > Extensions category

How do you do windows open each new folder in the same window?
in Control Panel-folder options, open each folder in the same window is selected, but whenever a file is opened, it opens in a new window, what's wrong?
Windows 7 pro, clean install, toshiba portege m700
I had this problem, but after installing IE8 on Windows Vista. I was unable to make Windows Explorer open folders in the same window, even if this option in 'Options folders'.
The response marked here seems to have given back me the feature, but unfortunately it seems that I can not open files in their own windows separated (when this option is selected). Well.

whenever I have open a new tab, or open one of my favorites in an existing tab or new, after a second or two, the address bar is completely cleared, and even if I clicked on a new text box or you press the space bar to scroll, I believe that it would start typing in the address bar. It started just past today after I restarted my computer.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
