  Static defines a permanent translation betwwen two interfaces and is used for traffic between these two interfaces in EITHER DIRECTION. The problem you are experiencing probably is the static ports (8080 and 80) are the port of destination. According to which direction your traffic flowing port 8080 or 80 can be the source port, and in this case this static has no effect.

  Regarding your question ICMP, you cannot ping a PIX/FWSM to another interface interface. This was always the way it works, and there is no way around it. To test connectivity between the interfaces you have to ping a host interface to another host out of another interface.

• Cannot access the Web server in the DMZ from the inside using IP global

  Hi all

  I hope it's a very simple question.

  I'm running a PIX 515 firewall v6.3. I set up a Web server in my DMZ and use static NAT for re-branded it overall static IP address. Access from the outside of the demilitarized zone works remarkably well. I can access inside the interface Web site using the internal IP, but I can't access it from inside interface using the global IP are entrusted to him.

  Is there a particular reason why this would not be allowed? My feeling was that the request would be forwarded via the external interface (as it is a global IP address) and then be bounced back by my sense of the ISP the request would come to the new external interface (as the static NAT is applied to the external interface).

  However if I try and access the global IP from my inside interface, then the browser can not find the server.

  can someone explain why this is so? Any information would be appreciated.

  Code v6 pix or less don't let you have traffic "back" or return flow via the same interface on which it was sent. Having also your bounce back off of an external server traffic is never a good idea, because you won't be able to distinguish which and rogue attacks by spoofing someone outside your network.

  Since you are using pix 6.3 code, you may be able to outside the NAT. Add this static to your config:

  You may need to run a clear xlate after adding the new static statement. Note that the interfaces: it's demilitarized zone, inside inside, dmz.

• RAM Preview does not play from the beginning

  Anyone run into this.  When I RAM Preview, it does not start video playback up to about 1 second at first.  When loops overview it plays from the beginning, problem is only with the first reading.  Annoying to say the least.

• How to make sure the Animation still plays from the beginning

  Hi guys,.

  I'm working on a project to facilitate dashboard which consists of 3 animations. I have a problem when I navigate between each symbol, without allowing that each completed in full animation. Rather than play as they should, from the beginning of each animation, animation simply continues to play from the position as was the timeline when I navigated away to another symbol.

  
  

  Is it possible that I can reset the symbol in its original position, when I trigger another animation to make sure that each animation always time from the beginning?

  All included now - it works, and you do not have the script fixed correctly.

  The only thing I noticed is the placement of you reading action, see capture.

  I didn't move a bit. And by that I mean set it so that the beginning of the fall of play icon AFTER the reading, the alignment exactly where the label of separation begins - see figure.

  In your case it was not aligned correctly. I also changed the read option play to play to 0:00.

• Unable to VPN from the inside to another site

  I'm trying my site VPN to another site via VPN client and I can't do it.

  The two sites are not on the same network.

  I can use Citrix to connect to other websites with which we are working, but not of VPN.

  Is their a restriction on the 515e firewall that prevents me to talk to my internal LAN remote companies?

  No restrictions, but your sites need to know how to be able to route to the range of IP addresses that you have assigned to the VPN client. If you have an internal router, then by adding a static route pointing to the IP of the Client address range via the inside of the PIX can solve this problem, redistribute the static electricity in your IGP.

  I would like to know if that helps, if you not come back with details of configuration etc.

  I apologize in advance for the length of this post.

  In general do not much poster, but a lot of reading.  First of all, let me tell you that I'm not a GURU PowerCLI, never written one in my life, but there is always a first time.

  Background:

  Under VMWare 4.1, that us did not run with HA, for whatever the reason why I don't know.  We had (our UPS manufacturer) Liebert software called MultiLink that when there was a power outage after 15 minutes would run a .bat file on the server vCenter for windows that would log on to the vmware host and run a file .sh that accumulate all the machines on the host and start making judgments on them.  Once completed the host itself would make a stop.

  Currently:

  Improved 5.5 VMWare vCenter, have HA and followed now host active in the configuration. We find that we can follow is no longer the practice that we have done less than 4.1.

  I got a new version 4.2.4 and that it contains, there is provision in interface with VMWare through the PowerCLI and it stops all guests on the host computer. The host then stops.

  I suspect STRONGLY that when the command is issued to stop the host itself, HA or monitoring kick and migrates customers and/or models out of the machine, before the machine shutsdown.  In the first tests, I had a host with 5 models, 1 windows machine and a Virtual Appliance on it.  Everything was arrested, as was that it was supposed to, but the host was brought back to the top he had nothing on it.  Models and machines had been moved (spread) for the two other machines.

  This has been confirmed in another test on 01/05/2015 through vCenter client connection, the guests have been stop, the by refreshing the screen you could see the machines leave the test machine, then the server itself, stop.  In a subsequent test, I commented on the "Shutdown the ESX hosts" part and the machine down and remained where they were.  So I'm guessing that it has something to do with HA, surveillance or other thing that needs to be defined differently for him to stop guests from the host, stop the host, BUT not to migrate comments to others running machines.  Do I need to enter the maintenance or standby mode before making the shutdown command?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• FancyBox - How can I change the position of the title to the INSIDE of the box?

  I know that this may not be the place to ask this question involves the jQuery and Fancybox, but I'm uncomfortable with the Dreamweaver Forum so thought I would ask. Earlier, I started working on this project for an artist and thought that FancyBox would be a good way to present his work. I don't know much about jQuery and Fancybox, but managed to make it work, which is not particularly difficult. That is, how can I change the position of the TITLE by default out of the BOX on the INSIDE of the box. I played with the CSS a bit, ask about these things called aid, tried to put a code of jQuery in the head section, but nothing helped.

• Gradient fills that radiate to the inside or outside

  I would like to be able to create a gradient between the paths are creating buy using the command "path offset."  I want the filling to go either from the outside path inward or vice versa.  Is this possible?  I'm very very very very new to illustrator and I've been Googling for hours but I don't think I know the exact terminology to search for.  I have attached an image using a circle that demonstrates the effect I'm after.  But I would like to apply to paths in weird shape... but always have a smooth gradient of the path from the outside to the inside.
