Why is Adobe flash player 11.0, allowed to block access to the Web site home pages, until their trash is installed?  They should be prosecuted for punishment of the loss of time by Internet users, who spend countless hours trying to fix their garbage, which takes control of the web and blocks PCs access to their program settings, unless it is done according to their specific updates. Are you sure he blocked it, or the web page requires Flash Player to see this?

Most web pages require an element of Adobe Flash Player.

    Hello everyone

I develop a labview application using USB cDAQ 9174 and I want to block access to my material, so the only way to use the material is through my labview application. Is there a tool or a way to protect the material?

I am concerned about someone installing a new application in my system and can then use my DAQ for new application installed.
In my view, which can be prevented by setting permissions in windows.

  • Block access to the configurations

Hi, I create a home network allowing access to the other PC so I can get a job and home in one of PC network.

The thing is that I need to block the possibility to edit and display network configurations so nobody but me can add a device to the network. How can I do that on windows 7 and windows 8.1?

Thanks for your reply, I used filtering to block access to new MAC users.  It was very useful.  All I had to do was to prevent people to add devices to the network, because they all have access to view the password if they click Network properties on their computers.

  • Accidentally blocked access to the local disk - how to unlock?

You use Chrome and Citrix to access a remote server, the mouse slipped when I was about to download a file from my C: drive and I clicked on block access instead of allow access. Now Windows does not allow me to access the C: drive, and I find no way to reverse my previous decision. Any help would be appreciated.

Close your office tasks bar, clock is a Citrix icon (it is black with white lines on it).  You can use it to access the connection Center and change to allow access to the place.  I have not worn hand on the computer on which I typing this, but if I remember right you would go to the option 'About' on this icon, then there will be a link to the advanced options and connection Center access.

When you get to it, this is the option you want to change:

  • block access to the local asa firewall vpn accounts

I'm looking for the local accounts on the firewall and would like to make sure that users who have local accounts for vpn do not have for the firewall itself through asdm, telnet, ssh to the management.

Is the only aaa on the firewall command

the ssh LOCAL console AAA authentication

With this command, if I change the local account setting to 'NO ASDM, SSH, Telnet or access Console' (see attached screenshot) will that still allow users to vpn in and access the network because they have to take off but any what potential access to the firewall?

    Thank you

    Hello

Yes, if you select the option "No., ASDM, SSH, TELNET or Console access" allows to block only the admin access to the firewall. Here's the equivalent CLI for this option:

    myASA(config-username) # type of service?

    the user mode options/controls:
Admin user is authorized to access the configuration prompt.
NAS-prompt user is allowed access to the exec prompt.
remote user has access to the network.

If you use this option you will be on the third option in the above list that is remote access. Users will have the option of VPN in but no admin (asdm, ssh, telnet or console)

    Thank you

  • block access to the port 7778

    Hi all

I use Linux and Oracle 10gAs 4 application server.

Our Application of Test is access by users using the port 7778, I want just a few users to access my test application (just the admin user) and all other users should not have access to the application, even if they specify the right URL and the port number.

I mean blocking port 7778 to a range of IP address for an IP range

Some access using oracle 10gas server application control policy.

Oracle HTTP Server is based on Apache. It comes with mod_access. Like mod_access allows you to restrict some IP address ranges, you would be able to do what you need.

Note that it may be difficult to restrict access to a specific port (you want to use a proxy/firewall to do this), but you can restrict access to some URI. Assume that you use the/foo URI to access your application, something like the below directive would do the trick:

       Order allow,deny
       Allow from 192.168.1.0/24
       Allow from 127

See https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_access.html for more information or [url https://www.google.nl/search?q=apache+restrict+access+ip+range&aq=1&oq=apache+ip+range+access] Google it.

  • How can I block access to the hard drive to windows when the computer is blocked?

When I leave the computer on and 'blocked' option it accesses the hard drive and "work like crazy. Simple I want to block all the software to access the disk hard until I connect again.

I want the computer to be available on the network, but does not.

    Thank you

Sorry, but that is simply not possible.  Each computer doing something, if you're connected or not, each tick every millisecond it's on.  If you could freeze the process somehow, you would also freeze the processes and services that would allow you to access the network. Better, we advise to leave it alone, lock to prevent others from accessing and then do what you need to on the network.

  • How to stop Vista Security Center 2011 to block access to the internet

My sons laptop has been mess up since yesterday afternoon. There McAffee Antivirus, who has never been a problem, however, "Security Center Vista 2011' at random is appeared for the first time, automatically scanned the computer and reported 25 viruses. For this reason, whenever it opens Internet Explorer to surf the net, a pop-up appears telling him that he is infected. If it it closes its doors, the internet charge only to be saying the same thing again, and if you choose to continue to sail on the same message appears, telling him that he is infected. If we go on the Vista Security Center to try to adjust the settings, it leaves us not as customization options are 'greyed out '. He asks us to buy a full version which we don't want.

We had McAffee scan for these viruses, and it reported a Trojan horse which he deleted. I then rebooted the laptop and the computer starts downloading Vista SP1. It took about an hour to install it. I was hoping that the errors were corrected, however it is still preventing us access to Web sites, saying each site Web is "infected." Several windows pop up appears regularly telling us that the computer is infected and asked to purchase a full version of Vista Security Center 2011.

Please help, as we have tried a lot of things, and we cannot remove this security program.

    -Simon

Hi there, Ok vista security center 2011 is a virus. You need a better program Antimalware too to roll all this crapy virus!, I wrote this a month ago. You need too download malwarebyets you can find it here on this link http://www.malwarebytes.org/, download the free version, then you will see a desktop icon of this anti-malware program. You need also side click on it and run as administrator, then it will start up. Now DO a FULL system SCAN, not a quick analysis. It should take about 40mins or so. Now, you will see at least 4 bad Trojan and a virus. Now delete 'em, then after restart PC... Do the same thing again. After the scan is complete, and no virus found... System Restore to a point over 5 days. When we know that when the computer was working no probs then you done everything;), Post back on here to see how you are thereby. Thanks Dion.

  • Blocks access to the http server homepage

I can't seem to find how to block (or redirect away from) the Web Server home page.
    For example:
    A user accesses http://servername:7777 / pls/apex/f? p = 101:1 (a valid url)
Then they come back to the end of the url to access http://servername:7777
It's 'Welcome to the Oracle HTTP Server' page of my web server. How to block (or redirect away from) this page?
I think it should be easy, but I can not find directions on how to do...
    Thank you

You can change the index.htm file in the htdocs OHS_HOME to do a redirection of metatag like this:

Or you could put a rule in the httpd.conf file.

    See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL_redirection
