First, we will determine if you actually adware or malware on your computer.  It could be something as simple as a spammer to get your e-mail address.  Please post the results of your report to EtreCheck .  It is a tool of diagnosis developed by a contributor trusted and respected here, and this will allow us to see what is installed on your hard disk in the path of the applications, drivers, plugins, extensions, etc..  No sensitive information is included in the report, such as names, e-mail addresses or serial numbers.

By pressing the arrow to the left ONLY goes a certain number of steps back and loses my point of departure, 3) why the EMPTY the CACHE NOT button erase the HISTORY. for example, I go to a website, say email Yahoo, do my thing and disconnect, and then click HOME, then clear the Cache and enter Yahoo email to a different e-mail account and Yahoo acknowledged my attempt and me in my email previous username. Difficulty of pop-ups in browser that support Safari.

Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

  • Problem restoring system after malware infection

I have Windows XP and my system was infected with Maleware, I tried to go to the System Restore section, but when I get to the part where it asks me to choose a date to restore there is no available dates! Is there another way to restore my system?

If you think that your system has a malicious software on it, you can think twice using one of your Restore Points... but you can probably resolve the issue if your symptom is an empty SR calendar.  Here's how:

If your system restore page display only the title bar 'System Restore' or your user accounts settings page don't watch the title bar of "User accounts" and the screen where information needs to be is an empty white box, and/or your Windows Search function shows just Rover (the animated search dog)...

System Restore is a frequent target of attacks by malicious software.  If SR was working before and is now afflicted, run some scans and then fix any problems.

Remember that the system restore is not a time machine.

Your system is currently or has been reached by malicious software.

You can now fix the symptom and scanning for malware later, or you can now find malware and fix the remains later.  I recommend just fixing the symptom of the empty page and forget to do the scans.  The symptom of the problem of fixing and fixing the problem are two different things.

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

The scans using own it may also be necessary to re-register some dll (or you can do this part first, but you still have to do the scans).

    Just fix the immediate question:

Looks like your file jscript.dll became somehow not registered so you can re-record it.

There are probably a few other things that do not work you know yet, so fix them all at once.

Re-registration of these DLLs is correct, even if they do not need renewal.  You can also re-register the dll before the scans that can solve the problem, but the scans are always recommended.

Click Start, run, and in the box enter orders following one at a time.  Click the OK button to execute each command one at a time.

    regsvr32 jscript.dll
    regsvr32 vbscript.dll
    regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll (it's a look of slash)

The last order for mshtml load the DLL but can also contain a harmless warning depending on your environment.

I have Windows XP Home Edition. Please do not hesitate to request additional information. Not really good at this. But I don't think that this problem can be with the video card.

Please provide additional information on your system:
What is your system brand and model?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

If your system works fine, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly?

Can you make the system crash when you want
?  For example, you would say that there is no specific system activity that coincides with the accidents (like watching videos, playing games, etc.).

Now provide more information about your system and data against more recent accidents.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:
    Msinfo32

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.
There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.
This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.
    Download BlueScreenView here:
Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files.
If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).
BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files.  Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).
Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt
.  Open BSOD.txt with a text editor, copy the text and paste it in your next reply.

  • AskSBar - malware?

McAfee Security marked, today, AskSBar program file as malware.  To my knowledge, I've never used this toolbar, so having the application (.exe) file deleted is no problem - right?  My question for this forum is: after you delete the application file, it is OK, not safe to delete the folder AskSBar on the C:\Program Files?  This program does not appear on the theCurrently installed programs in Control Panel. However, there is a labeledAsk program toolbar.  Is this a different application, or is it the direct connection to the theAskSBar?  Bottom line, is that I want to take the right steps and doesn't generate any errors on my system.  Thank you.

    The AskSBAR is malware.

The Ask toolbar is a browser add-on free that allows you to search the Web using the search engine Ask.com directly from Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers.

In the not to distant past (~05/2009), the "Ask Toolbar" was problematic because it would be conistently to delete the following files from your system:

    c:\Boot.ini

    Autoexec.bat

    config.sys

all files starting with '@' in its name in the trunk of the car "C:".

Much a c:\boot.ini has been removed by the "Ask Toolbar" on the next reboot after installation as well.  So, I did not and never will not approve it.

I think the authors of Applian Technologies fixed it, but I have not installed in a while to see.  Some third-party applications that you install have a check box to see if you do not want to install the Ask Toolbar during their installation.  I would say not ...

I also don't have a lot of faith in McAfee, but at least he seems to have taken something.

Since you have had a stroke, I follow-up with that and see if McAfee missed anything:

  • Firefox does not load pages unless moves the mouse or keyboard is pressed

    Hello

I saw this problem listed several times before this post, but none of the solutions have helped me.

I am using Firefox for ages and the latest 3 updates or so were expose this problem. When I try to load a website, Firefox will start to takes me to the page and then hang. The circle in the tab will stop moving and it will stay there until I move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard. As long as the mouse moves permanently or the keyboard keys are pressed, the page will load very well. The same thing happens with YouTube. The video starts and then freeze unless the keyboard/mouse is moved. Firefox also has this problem when I try to download a file from a Web site. The download starts and then hang on until I move the mouse or press a button, then it will continue for a few seconds and hang on again until I repeat the movement of the mouse or press the keyboard button.

So far, I tried to update Firefox, Java and Flash; Starting Firefox in Safe Mode; uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox: do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with removing profile and creation. I ran ad next and malware detection with no infection found tools: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, and AdwCleaner scan Microsoft security, Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, utility Kasperky free Security Scan and Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller.

The only thing I tried that 'seemed' to work was from Windows Mode safe mode with networking and run Firefox there. I was able to watch YouTube videos without freezing and websites seem to load properly. Of course, I can't run in Mode safe all the time.

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Firefox crashes on Google News. Note that the images in part loading, but a good number of them is waiting or not loaded.

I hope someone can help me, because I like Firefox and I wouldn't switch to Chrome or (shudder) IE.

Thank you in advance for your help!
