• Live Mail - RSS Feed Update frequency - why this can not be changed?

  I should see manage the flow and be able to right click a feed and select change the workflow to change the frequency of update... None of these options exist.

  I downloaded Live and installed Mail later than yesterday. The demo version of Windows Live Essentials in programs and features (Add Remove Programs) shows 14.0.8089.0726.

  I am running Win7.

  I would really like to be able to set some of my RSS feeds to be updated more frequently than every 24 hours.

  Click with the right button on a stream name in Windows Live Mail, and then choose Manage feeds.

  You can set a frequency of as low as 15 minutes update, if you wish.

  I have a blog on a new Web of BC site. It has been running for a few weeks. The RSS feed for the blog does not work. It returns a web page saying: "ERROR: either the RSS channel no longer exists, or if it is a new channel and then the file stream cannot have yet been created.» The flow file is created automatically at regular intervals. Please check again later.'.» The ID parameter for the blog url of feed is the correct ID for the blog. I have other items on other sites of BC where the RSS feeds work properly.   The issue I see here is that you have no the RSS feeds within the site as it may have been deleted at some point.

  I get the following error when selecting the RSS feed on the page you provided.

  ERROR: The RSS channel no longer exists or if it is a new channel then the flow file may not have been created yet. The flow file is created automatically at regular intervals. Please check again later.

  You need to go into your site and create a new RSS feed for your blogs.  Then add it to your blog layout to fix this problem.

  Hello. I use Muse to create a Web site and add the widget to the blog FEED to my site, so I can feed my blog on my site. I post some instagram pics on my blog, but when I check my website, the photo becomes empty. Does anyone know how to fix this? When I post the instagram of posts on the blog, I just copy the link of the post, not to incorporate the code for the post and the photo appears. • Adding the nytimes RSS feed for MUSE

  Hi fellow Muse users,.

  I'm trying - should I say hope – to add an RSS feed from the nytimes on my home page. I have read many fourms (here and elsewhere) addresses this issue. It seems that the most common reaction is the function "insert HTML code. However, I am having a hard time to solve this problem. No problem with the insert function. I did this with google maps and facebook. But the RSS feed seems to be a different beast. Maybe I'm not familiar with which components of the RSS feeds I have to put in the muse insert 'box '?

  Anywords of wisdom would be useful. I also think that adobe should develop an easy way to add a personal blog RSS feed or an RSS secondary part. This seems to be a mistake.

• RSS Feed error in Windows Live Mail using Windows RC 7100

  I use Windows RC 7100 with Windows Live Mail.  I have uninstallied IE8 (64 and 32) because of the incompatibility of this browser with some Web sites I frequent.

  Now, when you open Windows Live Mail, I get the message "Initialization of RSS Feed support Failed". I can click OK to continue, but it's using Live Mail an unsavory experience.

  How do I remove this message.

  Try the version to the final version of the EU. The RC is not designed to run Live Mail without IE8.

• Windows Live Family Safety 2011 contacts management

  I decided to use Windows Live Family Safety 2011 given documents that there the management of contacts for the e-mail accounts in the child.

  I watched videos on the web and read documents on how to put in place, but when I log on the Family Safety website I introduced to all categories of web filtering, lists of filtering web, followed by activity, deadlines, restrictions of game, etc but no contact management.

  There, anyone know if it is still available under parental controls, and if so, how do activate you it?

  My guess is that since not enough people used Microsoft removed as an option or moved to pay for a product.

  Family safety has made recent changes to its functions and functionlity. The latest version of the parental control now uses the standard user accounts (logon Windows) as a child in the safety of the family. To learn more about the changes in the management of Contact, please see the link below:

  If you need to know about adding a user to the Windows login with standard privileges, please see this link.

  If you have already created a standard user and you want to manage under parental control, then follow these steps:

  1. run the parental control on a Windows account with administrator privileges. If this is your first time running the parental control, you need to sign in using your Microsoft Account.

  2. after login, select the standard Windows account that you want to monitor as a child by checking the box to the right of the name of the account, and then click Next after.

  3 on the right, you will see members parental control with a list of drop down option. Click the menu drop-down, and then select Add standard account name.

  4. click on record. Wait until the installation is done.

  5. Once done, you should see the name of the account under Windows monitored accounts.

• Question: How to avoid the pop-up "Welcome to the Windows Live (tm) Device Manager download"?

  I also use many Office Communicator 2007 and Live Messenger and Live Photo Gallery. My PC (Win XP SP2) office also has a LX-3000 headset and a webcam VX-6000, both are for use with Office Communicator.
  Since a recent update, whenever I connect a device, a "Welcome to the Windows Live (tm) Device Manager download" window asking me to download Windows Live Device Manager.
  However, on this desktop PC, I don't want that to be installed. Also, since the shape a previous download, I learned that this device manager does not recognize Office Communicator; It assumes that Live Messenger.
  How can I stop this pop up on my desktop PC?

  Thank you for your message.  Let's try turning off the pop-up.
  If you have Windows Live Messenger 2009:

  1. click on tools, select Options

  2. click on the connection tab

  3. uncheck the show Windows Live today after I connect to mailbox

  For older versions:

  1. click on tools, select Options

  2. click on the general tab

  3. uncheck the show Windows Live today after I connect to mailbox

  There were a few discussions where people indicated that they downloaded Device Manager but then turned off to avoid the messages.  As seen HERE.
