Lack of Podcast episodes in iTunes Store

My Feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/providenceaustin/sermons

I manage the podcast of our Church, and I'm having a problem with some missing episodes. I checked my stream for errors, but I have not found any, and episodes are missing through the iTunes store (they appear if you look at just the stream itself, or if you pull up the stream to help another customer podcast). But many of our users go through iTunes, so I understand what the problem is.

So far, I noticed two missing episodes in recent months. They are both of the same itunes:author (we have several authors on our flow), which is the only resemblance, I noticed. But there are correctly shown episodes of this author. Other than that, I don't know what is happening. The episodes in question are the most recent episode of this past Sunday, June 5, 2016. And the other is from March 20, 2016.

Any help would be appreciated.

You have probably fallen on an intermittent bug in the store where some episodes do not appear, even if all episodes appear when you subscribe. Go to the Podcasts Connect, log in, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

    Hello!

An episode of my podcast does not appear in my iTunes page, but is present on the RSS.

    My iTunes page:

    https://iTunes.Apple.com/podcast/goplaythat/id960695374

    My RSS:

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/SoundCloud/GPT

    My SoundCloud page:

    https://soundcloud.com/goplaythat

    Lack of the episode:

Firewatch, SUPERHOT and Indie Game price

The episode is present in the Podcasts iOS and iOS podcast that I personally use (called Pocket Casts), so I'm not sure of the impact of this problem. I had to re - download this episode following a registration issue, so I deleted my RSS feed before adding it again. The replacement made his way to the RSS without problem, but iTunes does not seem to have found version 2 correctly, at this particular place.

If I could get help on this, I would be very happy. Thank you!

    Rob.

  • Presentation Podcast on the iTunes store.

I am having some problems with the presentation of my podcast episodes.

Lets say hypothetically I want to release a new podcast episode on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. When should I submit the RSS feed URL for EACH episode to iTunes, to ensure that each episode will be published in due course. Im trying to figure out how many days in advance, I need to submit the RSS URL to apple for the episodes to release from time to time.

There is no hard and fast rule about this. Usually, it takes 1 to 2 days for one episode to appear in the store, although the subscribers they will see as soon as their iTunes application checks the flow. You can not really do something the delay taken in the store, which caches the stream and check the new items in a kind of spin. Either incidentally, should actually send the stream to the store when you add a new episode, just add and re - publish workflow.

  • Lack of Podcast episode

    Hello

Episode 17 of my podcast, heroes of the screen, is absent from iTunes. I checked my RSS feeds and I don't see any problems. What are the next steps to determine the cause of the missing episode?

Episode 17 was published on 13 April. I asked a power refresh this morning, and the episode I posted yesterday, episode 18, appears.

    My feed URL: http://griddaily.com/feed/podcast/screenheroes

    Podcast iTunes URL: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/screen-heroes/id1071922623?mt=2

    Thank you!

There was a lot of that kind of thing. All you can do is to contact Support and ask for a re-indexing. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

  • Deleted podcast in iTunes Store but power still works?

For some reason any my podcast has been removed from iTunes, and while current subscribers may always listen to new episodes on iTunes, it is not possible to find the podcast in iTunes store and subscribe to it. The store link: https://itunes.apple.com/dk/podcast/bulibold.dk-bulipod/id954016630

In Podcastconnect State of podcast has been "Deleted." Why is this? Of course, I try to add the stream again. However, when doing so I get this error: "unable to read from the stream.

I checked on the Feedvalidator, Podba.se and castfeedvalidator.com and all saying that my feed is valid. See for yourself: http://bulibold.dk/feed/podcast/

Then; went to my podcast on the iTunes Store for new subscribers can't find it. Current subscribers always get the stream in their iTunes app and the feed is working and valid. What should do?

This seems to be a problem with your server. I can subscribe to this feed in iTunes and see in Firefox (my default RSS reader), but using "curl" in the Terminal to access brings the "HTTP 403-forbidden" error message.

The most common reason for this is when you try to access the directory where there is an index.html file in it - if there was this file automatically appear, but you are not normally allowed access to a list of directories. Since you do not have a file name, but you do not have an index.html file when even (since it's a food that we try to access) I can only conclude that the server is to distinguish between requests FRO browsers or the iTunes application, he allows and asks at the Terminal or the iTunes Store, which it is not. Of course it was originally the case, or you have your podcast in the store in the first place. Of course, all this is conjecture, because I can tell you only what I saw; you will need to ask the people running your server.

  • Can not find podcasts in iTunes store

I can't find my podcasts in the iTunes store. On my other computer laptop is fine, but on my new computer the provider (such as NPR) appears, but several podcasts don't, like the money in the world. Why are they hiding? And how to find them?

There is something wrong with iTunes right now. This message makes no sense as Podcasts can only be updated through an update of iOS.

If you do not see a similar message appears in iTunes on your iOS device, ignore him.

  • The podcast is not included in the iTunes Store podcast directory. An error occurred while trying to play an episode of the podcast

I submitted my podcast feed to iTunes Connect three times. It shows the same error: the podcast is not included in the iTunes Store podcast directory. An error occurred trying to play an episode of the podcast.

I can't find anything wrong with my workflow. It is validated. I subscribed it to iTunes as Apple suggested in the email. It works as well in iTunes.

Some argue, there should be at least three ready episode in animal feed. I only have three. What is the problem? Can someone help me? Thank you!

    It comes to my diet:

    http://aizhe.FM/feed/episodes

    I checked the power supply in Podcasts connect and validated it and says "ready for submission. It validates in CastFeedValidator;

However when you subscribe to iTunes the main episodes in animal feed, E000 (i.e. only Apple controls) downloaded only to half way and then stopped - although on the subscription again, it worked OK. These strange kinds of glitches happen sometimes, and maybe that's what caused the problem. I should try to submit it again and see what happens. (You do not have to have three episodes in the power - one is enough).

  • Last episode of podcast is not showing in iTunes Store

I help my launch marries a podcast, and we are still pretty new to the process.  We noticed that her last episode, posted 6 days ago appears in the my iTunes Podcasts section, as well as on the application of Podcasts on my iPhone.  However, it is not yet displayed in the iTunes Store.

No idea if it's just a slow process in the iTunes store, or if maybe we goofed something up on top of our end?

  • Latest Podcast episode not updated in iTunes

    Hello

For the first time our last podcast episode (we are on episode #18) it does not appear in iTunes - not even for subscribers, like me. My flow is updated very well, he retired to a third party validator and I am able to find the episode in Stitcher-and - Google Play, but iTunes does not seem to recognize it.

I clicked manually "Refresh" in iTunes Podcast Connect, but it doesn't seem to help.

The only clue is that last week is the first time, the episode did not show immediately in the iTunes store. Downloaded immediately for subscribers, he did not himself available in the iTunes store for about 24 hours. What I read is not terribly unusual, so we were not concerned. But this week is different without showing for subscribers.

Thanks in advance for your help. I am already receiving messages from listeners, wondering where the hell is the last episode. ACK!

    -John

The only other thing I notice is my URL of mirror (that I found in the dashboard Podcast Connect) doesn't seem to be loading. My understanding is that it is the permanent URL of feed iTunes creates I can change my RSS URL feed without disrupting the subscribers. I have not changed my feed URL, but if if subscribers are feeding off the coast of this mirror URL and it does not work, it is the root of the problem? Not that I know how to fix the URL of mirror...

Oh, and here's my podcast in iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/young-house-love-has-a-podcast/id1122376417? mt = 2

And here is the feed (it is hosted through libsyn):http://younghouselove.libsyn.com/rss

Again, it is the #18 episode that does not appear in iTunes. Thank you!

  • Cover podcast image does not show up in iTunes Store

Hi, my podcast has been approved by the iTunes Store for nearly a month. But the image of cover as well as images of three episodes, is still not in iTunes Store. There can someone tell me what is the problem? Thank you!!

    https://iTunes.Apple.com/CN/podcast/AI-zhe-Dian-Tai/id1144085188?MT=2

Your image main podcast is 1.1 MB - it must be less than 500 KB. Your first episode shows an image in the search results (even if it is more than 500 KB), but those remaining is smaller than 1400 x 1400.

Once corrected, images can often take quite a few days to appear in the store.

  • Stream episodes do not appear in ITunes Store

I registered a new podcast in iTunes with several already published on the stream of podcast episodes. During the process of creation, food shows all previously published episodes, but when I look in the iTunes store for the newly created podcast, there is no available episodes. Is there a way to force iTunes to recognize already published episodes?

It seems that if you've introduced an error in your feed, but I can't possibly comment on this unless you care to post the iTunes Store and feed URLs.

  • Podcast work appearing only not in iTunes store...

    Guys,

I need help here. My podcast work appears in my podcast with iTunes account. But he does not appear in the iTunes store! It's a 3000 x 3000 image. I did everything what I can do on my end. It is hosted by Libsyn. And I downloaded the work on Libsyn and on iTunes. IF I click on the link in iTunes and click on 'get info' it shows my work. What should I do? It's frustrating and I would like to launch the podcast, but not without work.

Here is the link for iTunes store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-leader-journey-podcast/id1104588694?mt=2

    Here's my RSS http://www.leaderjourney.com/?feed=podcast

    Thank you

    Dylan

Your first episode is dated from just three days ago, so presumably your feed has not submitted any earlier? It may take a few days for a new image or changed to appear in the store. The image itself seems to be OK, so it's likely that he will subsequently appear in the store and it's just a matter of waiting.

  • Podcast has ceased to appear in itunes store

I am at a loss, I think, of what is happening.  I created a podcast (ppvguys), and he was appearing in the itunes store properly for a good time.  Then he stopped editing in the page of the shop itself.  Those who had subscribed initially always receive new episodes, but new subscribers were not see new.  I started using google followed links to Analytics. By coincidence, this is my most recent arrested Update podcast episodes. You don't know if that's the reason or not.  I'm removing the google links in case that's the problem.

The food is http://feeds.feedburner.com/popcornpissandvinegar and the xml code is http://www.ppvguys.com/shows/ShowX.xml

The power supply seems to validate but I still have problems with new subscribers.  Any advice would be great!

    Thank you very much!

Let us look at subscription in iTunes first. Here the shows run up to n ° 75, then see the 124 is the subsequent only to appear. It's because of 76 shows you 123 you let the extension - .mp3 - your media file names. Without this iTunes does not recognize the file as an audio file, and so does not take into account of the episode. You resumed the addition of expansion with show 124, where its appearance.

Now in store iTunes itself, the situation is less clear. Here, the shows end at 57 (with 56 missing) and does not later arose. I see nothing in the stream to explain it and can only assume that this is another of the interesting problems of the store - there was a case of him failing to update, so it is perhaps the question even if it happened two years ago. You need to contact Support and ask for a re-indexing: this can launch the store in update - but before doing this you should settle the issue of the extension or the episodes won't even show 76-123. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

  • iTunes does not display my last podcast episode

    Hello

Recently, I switched podcast host and appear to have been able to get a redirect from my old Web host. I accidentally created two of the podcast even during the transition period and recently deleted the one that I thought to be that of the iTunes store. Everything seems to be good but when I check my iTunes store the url from iTunes connect my last episode is not there, but it appears on my podcast on my phone app and it plays very well. Not really sure why this is happening so any help is appreciated

    Thank you

New episodes may take 1-2 days to appear in the store, although they appear immediately for subscribers (who read the stream directly, while the store is cached and visits in a kind of rotation).

I don't know if that's the problem here. I can't answer you any unless you post the URL of your store and your feed page.

  • I have post Podcast RSS feeds the posts back to subscribers, but NOT in the iTunes store... why?

I have an account for my Podcast. I publish the RSS and posts go to the each subscriber of iTunes accounts but do not publish in the iTunes store. I changed servers recently and have, in my opinion, done all correct use for my stream change... help

    Hello.

If you choose a new workflow, you must:

redirect subscribers to your new workflow

notify the iTunes Store, you have a new stream.

The two steps above are complemented by a redirect:

Set up a 301 redirect on your server for your old power supply.

Add the itunes: new-feed-url tag to your old feed. Example: http://example.com/new-rss-feed.xml

Know how to do that in the section "Change your RSS Podcast Feed URL" here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/specs.html

    Please share:

    The old RSS feed

    The new RSS feed

    URL of your iTunes.

It seems that this has happened:

First RSS feed-> Submitted to iTunes > user subscribed--> user gets new episodes

Second RSS feed-->? iTunes has been notified? --> iTunes doesn't new episodes.

Second RSS feed--> users get new episodes

I recommend the deletion of your podcasts in the box my Podcasts in iTunes Desktop (to avoid confusion).

Then, search the iTunes Store for the podcast put you to the test and you subscribe.

In my Podcasts, click on the podcast > copy the link.

Is this link, your NEW diet or your old diet?
