• Manual keyboard Acer Iconia W700-6499

  My Acer Iconia W700-6499 came with an Acer toteable stand covered with leather with a built-in keyboard.  There is no paper or electronic manual covering this accessory.  I couldn't find one online.  The problem is that I would like to know how to engage the switch next to the battery lights on the keyboard.  There must be a way to turn it off, or just drains the battery internal when the Tablet is in the stand and not connected on the support in plastic.  someone had this problem?

  I found the "Acer keyboard case Addedum" document that accompanies my W700.  The case has the model # KT - 1252 and there are a few entries in the section Archives 2013 these discussion Forums.  I don't see a way to attach the document but may be able to copy / paste If someone is desperate.

  I just bought an ACER Iconia A3 - A10, I thought that read me the description of the Tablet until I bought that I could use a SD card and SIM card... Am I wrong?  Because I inserted the 16 GB SD card and I'll in ' SETTINGS' > 'STORAGE' and only shows internal, not external... and looked at the manual for a SIM card slot and I don't see any mode insert SIM card... area?

  As I said before, the - A10 doesn't have 3G capabilities and therefore is not a SIM slot, the - fact A11.

  I upgraded my Acer Iconia A3 - A10 of Jelly Bean to Kitkat a few days ago. Not happy at all. Many applications running too slow, wifi doesn't work well, etc.

  I did a factory data reset but my Tablet Android 4.4.2 lights. Is this normal?

  Is it possible to downgrade to Jelly Bean, the version that came with my Tablet? How to do?

  My Acer Iconia A100 has Android 4.0.3 and all updates fail with the message:

  but it is not 100%, and all other network functions work fine.

  I see a LOT of problems, debate and questions with this same error on models Iconia tab, but so far no clear solution.

  Bought an acer Iconia tab 7 (A1-713) a little over a month. Now battery is suddenly dump / reload too quickly. Has implemented to update the KitKat for a long time, so don't think this is the issue, but now the battery dies even if its display of 75% with a few minutes of reading simple docs in offline mode.   I'm afraid it sounds like a hardware failure with the battery. Contact Acer support and they will repair it for you.

  I have an Acer Iconia 8W (W1-810), and I tried to install another OS through my USB key. I already changed the boot order in the bios and secure boot disabled, but I'm not able to start. Y at - it a boot to access menu, if yes, how to reach it, if not, how can I start the USB? Thanks in advance.

  Edit: I activated the F12 boot menu and tried a USB pen create fom Universal USB install (which is what I always use to install Ubuntu on a PC) and Intel on the other with Win32 Disk Imager (with Android Ivy-bridge of the Intel Web site). Menu of startup only recognizes Windows...

  Edit 2: updated the BIOS to 1.06, installed rEFInd on Windows, nothing... Does not seem reccogize what USB deviced outside Windows...

  Discovered that there is a single machine 32-bit EFI. Managed to adapt the Ubuntu image to have a 32-bit efi loader and managed to start the USB key. Always difficult to install but at least I'm in.

  So, I got my acer iconia for about 5 months and have never had a problem with wifi connectivity until the update of kitkat. When I try to connect to the internet, it says the usual: connection, authentication, but it gets stuck on IP address get and then starts a return loop to connect. • Capacity of the microSD for Acer Iconia A1-810

  For the Acer Iconia A1-810, is there a limit to the size/capacity of the MicroSD card, you can plugin?

  I know at least some, and SDXC standards even at higher speeds. The SDHC on the A1, does support some of the slower speeds, but it simply means that the SDXC is SDHC speeds. I think that there are some 128 GB cards now and I expect that they would work as well. I think they are always quite high price however.
