Manually create CARS DB

Grid Version: 11.2.0.3

OS: RHEL 5.8

I have correctly installed cluster (GI) and RDBMS software installed on my RAC 2 nodes. But I don't want to use dbca to create the database because of some custom conditions. Instead, I want to run the CREATE DATABASE command manually to create the DB JAR.

As soon as the DB is created in a single node, what are the steps I need to do to ensure that this DB DB CARS?

Abort DBCA after the scripts have been created.

I hope oracle will allow me to generate the scripts without actually launch creation of DB. But this isn't the case. On the screen last dbca where you check "Generate scripts", you must press the button 'Finish' which actually initiate the creation of DB. Abandonment of the creation of the DB don't seems to be neat.

You do not deselect the check box 'create database '.

  • Migration of the TMS Movi/Jabber manually created the AD users

I have a lot (75) of users created manually Movi/Jabber in TMS. When we turn to the AD authentication what is happening the old-fashioned manually created accounts? Have they disappeared? In addition, accounts created manually have the same username as their counterparts in AD. Which will cause a problem?

    Thanks advance!

    Douglas,

I tested in the laboratory and it does not matter the user of the AD, it gives an error.

Given that I had already 'Michael Schumacher' user added in the local database with the same login name database with AD synchronization does not matter the user and generates the error.

  • Manually create a recovery CD

    Greetings,

I have an a6300t of Pavilion running Vista Home Premium 32 and had to replace the drive. Problem is that the owner no longer has the recovery CD that have been created when it was new. The old disk is in-tact, as well as files on the recovery partition. Is there a way I can manually recreate a set of recovery of the partition disks without executing the Recovery Manager? Since he already did once, I woudn't be able to use the RM program anyway.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If the old hard drive is still usable, you could do a picture back up and drive external hard then to restore it to the new hard drive using Macrium reflect free.  It is an exact copy of what is on the old hard drive now, possibly including the recovery partition.  Don't forget to create the Macrium rescue disk to restore.

    http://www.Macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

I did it many times and works very well.

  • How to manually create another resolution of the screen?

How can I create another resolution of the screen manually which is not available in Windows 7?

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with 1 package of Service on my MacBook Pro 17' via bootcamp.

I want to create a screen resolution 1680 x 1050 because of 17' manually but am not able to do. Hight resolution proposed is only 1600 x 1200 and the results are signs and distorted images.

How to change the screen resolution correctly? Updates Windows (more than 200) that are not installed so far for it takes very long time will help?

Do I have to install an additional specific driver?

I did two things both of samt: I installed all Windows updates and I've updated the PnP Monitor driver. After a new start in Windows 7, the screen resolution was automatically correct (1920 x 1200).

I guess that your column type is set to "plain text". By default, who type the special escape characters. Change the attribute "Special escape characters" (security) on No to escape no HTML tags.

  • Manually created the report runs is not on weblayout

    Hello

I've created a report manually the 10g report, that the report runs on layout paper but when I try to run the report even using the button run on the Report Builder displays blank page any idea which must be defined with a manual report to run it on the web. I saved the report as JSP and rdf, but the two produced no out put.

    Hello

The layout web (in other words, the web source) is mainly used for the format .jsp for more flexibility via the web for web developers using Oracle reports.

Only reports created in Report Builder 9i or higher using the report wizard and choosing "Create Web Layout only" or "create of Web and paper Layout.
contains a code Source base of 'Web' which is the source for the web page layout. In 9i reports, reports created manually: without using the
Report Wizard - will also have a blank web page layout, unless you add your own code in the Source of "Web". Moreover, you will not have a web layout for all
reports migrated from reports 6i like web layouts have been introduced only in reports 9i. What the report is not in an earlier version or version is not
will be generated in the new version or version.

You will need to add your own code to the 'Web Source"so that whatever it is, to display in the web page layout. In addition, changes made to the
Print layout will cross to the Web layout by confirmation with the development. You can use the rw: include the tag in the Web Source (see Help)
to get some of the print layout in your web page layout.

Alternatively, you can still perform the following with reports Oracle 9i or higher and the RDF to view the layout of document on the web you have
in the past with Oracle Reports 6i: http//webserver.domain:7779/reports/rwservlet?report=test.rdf&destype=cache&desformat=pdf&userid=scott/tiger@db

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • How to manually create the matrix object?

Hello expert, I'm creating a matrix report object manually, I found a few steps on google, but they do not work to success.
Please help me to create a.

    Google as follows:

    To create a matrix object:

    1.

The layout of the document view, click the tool framework to repeat in the tool palette, and then drag a rectangle to create an extensible framework.
    2.

In the property inspector, frame repeating, set the Source property of the "column" for the matrix and set the property to print the down Direction.
    3.

Again click the tool framework to repeat in the Toolbox, and then drag a rectangle to create a second frame stretch, intersecting the first extensible frame.
    4.

In the property inspector, frame repeating, set the Source property of the 'line' of the matrix and set the Direction of printing throughout property.
    5.

Drag a rectangle around two expandable chassis to select, and then choose Insert > layout matrix.

This creates a matrix object that represents the intersection of two Extensible frameworks. For example:

    Figure 4-1 example matrix object
Shows the intersection of two rectangles
Description of the "object of Figure 4-1 example matrix"

    6.

Double-click the matrix object to set its properties.

    Thank you best regards n
    Yoann

    Hello

You must select the two images (ctrl + click on the two fields) before you choose Insert > layout matrix.
    It should work.

    Raman,

I think that there is a confusion of a lot of time that you are experiencing. First of all, 1521 is not the port number of the EM (its not supposed to be) but for the listener . So don't really use you it for something else, and just for the listener, and there is a single earpiece only which should be enough for all of the databases, you have. For the initial data, the default port for the EM, is 1158. This can vary according to the configuration you have. There is a file that is created and stores all the ports used in the parties initials, portlist.ini . It would be in your ORacle home. You can see the port number used by the MS of the initial database from there. For the manual creation of the MA, Oracle will ask you the port number for the listener, not where it must run the MS. If you enter 1521 only.
