  • / storage/core support missing

I deployed a 3 x average cluster nodes and had run a few days before I started to notice a warning in vROPs that the storage has been insufficient.

While they inspected the storage available in the monitor system LI for all 3 nodes and notice was one show only 7.3 GB of available compared to 233 GB on 2 other nodes.

I ran the beam of support and research if the files I look at the df file and noticed that he was missing the mountains/storage/core and/storage/var from the node with the 7.3 GB available.

I mode Mainteanance and restarted, node, but the mounts are not automatically returned.

  • HP pavilion dv6-2150us: problems with the upgrade of processor for an i7-720qm on a hp pavilion dv6-2150us

    Hi all

My friend recently bought an i7-720qm processor used to upgrade hp pavilion dv6 2 1 5 0 US and I

summer giving a helping hand by making the upgrade.

Since the 10 Windows running Google Chrome used up to 70% of the processing of an i3 - 330 m power

processor, it seemed to be good upgrade to improve the performance of the laptop.

We checked that the new i7 processor is compatible with the laptop (it is listed as supported by the)

( interview guide , page 108), and the seller assured us he tested the CPU on some different

HP pavilion and it worked fine.

But when I replaced the processor with the i7 processor i3 and tried to boot up the laptop, only the LED lights

on the front and the setting of the power and volume buttons would light up periodically. The screen was black

    All the time.

Thinking I might have made a mistake during the reassembly of the laptop I put the original i3 processor back in

    and it starts fine.

I updated the BIOS of the F.1C version I found on the internet and once replaced the i3 with the i7 with the

same results - display off, flashes periodically LEDs. The BIOS updated smoothly, and the correct version is displayed in the main menu of the BIOS.

I am confused on what could be the problem with the upgrade, everything should work. Is there a BIOS update I have

    missed, or the problem elsewhere?

Disassembly and reassembly are made with care, and we took care to avoid static electricity. All the rest

on the laptop works well - I am writing this post on the laptop in question with the original i3 processor in place.

Any help, advice or general guidelines as to what should be done would be really appreciated.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Hello world

I have a problem and please answer me if anyone knows I can do exactly.

I bought this cell before 1,5 years. It is model number Acer Aspire 5742 G-484G75Mnkk PEW71; map parent number PEW71 THE - 5894P with 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD Core i5 processor and so forth. Before 1 year, I spill water on it by mistake and it was broken. At this time, I tried to fix it but it was almost US $600.00, so I bought new Acer laptop. Now one of my friends said he didn't need his laptop which is also 5742g; PEW 71 L01. I want to know if the motherboard of my friend will go into my laptop. What are the compactables motherboards are for my laptop. I can fix it myself. Looking for a relaible answer. Thank you.

I'm not going to be able to offer advice on what or how to change parts on the system.

A motherboard with a similar unit, 5742G and 5742G must be compatible.

    (2) can I replace the current Board system with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 discrete graphics with 1 GB dedicated memory?  What is the difference between parts # 516294-001 516293-001 against?  The two identical descriptions a.

Is it useful to upgrade (i.e. it would improve windows performance index)?

Is it easy to replace the motherboard?  All the specialty tools?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The dv7 series is a challenge even for experienced laptop technicians. There are several boards of sup and ribbon cables going in all directions. The T9800 will agree and will work on any one of the motherboards in the manual that you apparently (let me know if not) and will greatly increase the WEI on the processor. She is always equivalent to most of the i3 processors.  The HD 4650 is going to be a pretty big improvement on the HD 4530. But that's like saying I'd rather have a 1964 Chevrolet as a 1953 Chevrolet... nor is technologically current as for video cards go. Current demanding games will exceed the 4650's powers.

I checked partsurfer for two motherboards that you list and I checked the manual. There is widespread confusion. PartSurfer lists the jury 294 as a "UMA" or integrated graphics subsystem, and lists the 293 Commission that the use of dual core AMD processors. Something is not good and frankly I would waive the exchange of motherboard, but if you really want to try let me know and I'll try to clear up the confusion.

  • Motherboard revision number

I have a HP Media Center m7160n machine with a motherboard #P5LP - 1.04 rev.  The Board is bad and needs to be replaced.  I have to use the exact same revision # as well as the model?    Thank you.

    (1) assuming that the Board of Directors is tattooed, means I have to go through HP to get a replacement?

Your original plate is tattooed and any replacement must also be tattooed to use recovery disks. You can access a motherboard of anyone, but the tattoo is usually done by HP or an authorized service center. If you have no plan to use recovery disks, there is no need to have tattooed replacement.

    (2) a few years ago, I improved the installed at the factory to Win7 WinXP.  This has no effect on the behavior/operation of the motherboard and BIOS, especially if you change the Group on?  Or are you saying that I just won't use the HP Recovery disk in an emergency situation?  If this is the case, then the tattoo not would matter, right (as I would never have cause to use this recovery option)?

If you change the motherboard, you will not have the use of your HP WinXP recovery disks. If you plan to use Windows 7, the use of recovery discs the HP is not relevant. And correct, the tattoo would not matter that you would have no need for the HP recovery discs.

With regard to the motherboard to do... Emery, limestone, Lithium, Lithium2, Leucite and Leucite3 everything should work with your factory current Socket 775 PentiumD 820 (Smithfield) CPU Dual-Core 2.8 GHz (800 MHz front side bus). I guess you have the Inspiron 530 mini tour with the 300w/350w PSU and not the version of Slimline s 530, with a power of 250w.

MT 530 systems were built with two different models of motherboards.

If your 530 has been purchased with either a Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core, Celeron processor and a 300w power supply, this system usually involves an 0RY007/G679R/CU409 [FoxConn G33m02] motherboard which only supports LGA 775 Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core and Celeron processors and 4 GB of RAM.

If your Inspiron 530 minitower shipped with a LGA 775 Core 2 Quad processor and a 350w power supply, you have the motherboard [FoxConn DG33m03] of 0FM586.

The card mother 0FM586 can be used for both Quad 4 and Core 2 Duo processors and can support 8 GB of RAM, with a 64-bit operating system

Motherboard is your MT 530 have?

    The Inspiron 530 with a motherboard G33M02/0RY007 will support either 4 GB [4 x 1 GB, or 2 x 2 GB DDR2 PC - 2 modules - 5300 or DDR2 PC2-6400 memory.]

  • Upgrade CPU Dell Inspiron 530?

I bought a Dell Inspiron 530 in October 2008 (Service tag <> NOTE from the ADMIN: Service tag removed by privacy policy >) and I would like to upgrade the processor. My current processor is an Intel Celeron 450 2.20 GHz. I think that my motherboard is a Foxconn G33M02. (But I am not sure, and I would like to confirm that, so that I don't get an incompatible cpu.)

What would be a good upgrade from the processor that I can put in my current motherboard? I feel that my current Celeron 450 is a uniprocessor processor, and I would trade out for an important and remarkable improvement with more hearts (at reasonable cost) while keeping the same motherboard.

I've already updated the PSU for a 460 Watt PSU and have also upgraded the video card. Looking for a good upgrade from the processor. I think I also need to update my bios of motherboard.

530 systems were built with two different models of motherboards.

FoxConn G33m02 [Dell P/N ORY007] motherboard, this version does not support processors Core 2 Quad, only the Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core and Celeron processors.

One of the following processors should operate in the 530 Inspiron:

Intel Pentium Dual Core 2140 (1.6 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
    Intel Pentium Dual-Core 2160 (1.8 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)

    Wolfdale Core 2 Duo E8500, 3.16 GHz, 6 MB, 1333 MHz FSB, 65W, C0

Before installing the processor, that you should check that you have BIOS Version 1.0.15 or above, when support for the new Intel processor has been added.

  • Mesh of Trunking

I recently inherited a network of mesh of all 6 PA campus and 14 cards. We have 4 switches remote, met through cards. As-is, the network works, but there are things that we would like to clean and sustainable on the local network.

In their current state, most of the remote switches use only 1 VLAN. We would like to separate the traffic as we do in the rest of the network. I had questions, get the circuits over-the-air implemented. As many have said, the Cisco documentation is very confusing. I got a glimpse of Scott powerpoint, but I still have problems of implementation. This is a part of the sample of what we have and what we're trying to accomplish. (All the management interfaces are in VLAN 95)

    Current state:

    [CORE]-> [SWITCH-NATIVE95]-> [RAP (normal Interface)] ~ ~ ~ [map-(Interface normal)]-> [REM-SWITCH-NATIVE95]

In this State, anything in VLAN 95 connects to the rest of the network, but nothing outside of VLAN 95 does not. If I flip to the trunk, with a map interface VLAN 95 native, I can ping everything in other virtual local networks, but lose connectivity to the switch.

That's what I've tried today, with 95 and my other VLAN as VLAN allowed (on the switch and the map):

    [CORE]-> [SWITCH-NATIVE999]-> [RAP (Normal Interface)] ~ ~ ~ [MAP-(Trunk-Native999)]-> [REM-SWITCH-NATIVE999]

This also resulted in no connectivity to the switch. I also noticed that the cards which normally will connect to this RAP all chose to also connect.

I read that the interfaces of the RAPs should always be set to normal and you will get a warning when you try to set it on the trunk. I tried to put it in the trunk and had no warning, so I tried this:

    [CORE]-> [SWITCH-NATIVE999]-> [RAP(Trunk-Native999)] ~ ~ ~ [MAP-(Trunk-Native999)]-> [REM-SWITCH-NATIVE999]

I got the same result as with the entire interface to normal. Also could not get map of reliably connect to the RAP even to do a controlled test.

    Issues related to the:

What I am doing wrong? How the interfaces must be paid to the live trunk?

I have been comforted in [REM-SWITCH] and didn't get all messages misconfig VLAN, but I noticed the RAP up and down intermittently through NCS. SpanningTree would be a problem?

The AP management interface must be in the VLAN native?

Is it possible to force a card to connect to a RAP in particular?

(Access points in cisco AIR-CAP1552I, WLC-5508 worm 7.2.111.3)

Ok.. So after RAP and put perfectly using map:

    > RAP and map should be in the same vlan and should not be in the vlan 1.

    > Favorite parent command allows you to make the card to join a particular RAP or use different BGN.

It will behave like this on 7.2:

    # With Vlan active transparent:

RAP and switch ports configured exactly the same card.

No configuration is necessary on the map and the RAP.

Only the VLANs native will be able to communicate through the RAP switch and card. 7.2 code tags vlan are stripped and only traffic VLAN native was able to communicate through the. So if vlan 262 is the vlan native and vlan 20 and 30 are allowed VLANs on the Switchport RAP switchport and the card, then only vlan 262 will be able to communicate through the stitch.

    https://Tools.Cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/ CSCub63054

In 7.0 and 7.5, it has started to behave properly. So here with Vlan enabled transparent, RAP and card switchport configured correctly and in the same way, all the VLANS including vlan native will be filled in full transparency.

##With vlan disabled Tranparent i.e tagging vlan enabled:

RAP and card switchport configured the same way.

CARD interface configured the same way IE with even native and allowed VLAN. GUI > AP > mesh > Gigabit 0

RAP - no configuration required: automatic using save vlan

With this configuration in place, all the VLANS allowed will be able to communicate through the bridge. Do not share of vlan native on bridge design to avoid loops.

  • Vostro 200 CPU Upgrade

Does anyone have a list of CPU for the Vostro 200 compatibility?  I've fallen back on the curve of computer knowledge and find so many processors available. Right now there an E2140 and I'm interested in something like the E6300 - a little faster and not too expensive.  I see a Newegg for $78 with free shipping.  TIA

    RichCal

First, you must determine, the version of motherboard your Vostro 200 has and your system comes with a 300w, or power supply 350w?

As already said that the Vostro 200 was built with the two different motherboards, a G33M02 or a G33M03.

If your Vostro 200 has been purchased with a Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core or Celeron and a 300w power supply, this system has generally a card mother FoxConn G33M02, who can't stand that the Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core and Celeron processors.

If you have a Core 2 Quad processor and a 350w power supply, you have the FoxConn DG33M03 motherboard.

This motherboard can be used for both Quad 4 and Core 2 Duo processors.

Otherwise, you may open the case and check the labels on the motherboard:

If your 530 has been purchased with either a Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core, Celeron processor and a 300w power supply, this system usually involves an 0RY007/G679R/CU409 [FoxConn G33m02] motherboard which only supports processors Pentium Dual-Core and Celeron, Core 2 Duo and 4 GB of RAM.

If your Inspiron 530 minitower shipped with a Core 2 Quad processor and a 350w power supply, you have the motherboard [FoxConn DG33m03] of 0FM586.

Specifications for maximum memory in the Optiplex 380 are quite confusing. Pdf manual indicates the maximum memory is 4 GB - 4 GB module in a slot or two 2 GB modules in two locations. But I read in other places that the maximum is 8 GB - two 4 GB modules in both slots.

On another thread here, someone asked max on the Minitour Optiplex 380 memory and told me that the max memory is 8 mg. But see here that the max is given as 4 GB:
