Map search mother Alienware Aurora R1
I got an Alienware Aurora R1 of the customer who was preparing to throw, as his son is off to College. Unfortunately I could not any background on his current condition.
So he came without hard drives or memory. I was able to recover 6 2 GB memory cards and place a spare inside sata drive before trying to start it.
When it turns on I get 3 beeps and a pause and 3 beeps again. He continues to cycle in this model. No video at all on any of the two video cards dual monitor.
My research indicates the beep code of 3 beeps means it needs a new motherboard.
I want to just restore this computer and give to some children. Cost isn't a factor.
Any help would be appreciated.

xf095ea: map search mother oem for g72-b15sv
Recently my on-board graphics card had disappeared in the mess, so I use my laptop with on the graphic chip card, but I have a little problem with overheating. I'm looking for the new motherboard. I would like to ask if there is a motherboard for my laptop that has onboard nvidia graphics card because I was disappointed by the experience of the ITA. The first day, I bought my laptop the ATI graphics on Board was defective, so I returned the laptop and get a new one. All worked well and now, after 3 years its out of order... So I would like to find a motherboard with nvidia, graphics, if possible.
Here is the Manual:
All graphics are Intel UMA or ATI/AMD. There is no motherboards for the G72 with nVidia graphics

Alienware Aurora ALX lights does not work master of e/s part #.
I tried to get the lights on my Alienware Aurora ALX job. The only lights that works are the head alien and the flange. Work, I mean that they are white. When I Command Center, it doesn't even show fan/readings of temperature or light speeds. I think that my I/o card is bad.
I can not get something to change in Comand Center.
I tried all the solutions on the forums and nothing seems to work.
I reinstalled windows 3 times. Nothing.
I reinstalled Alienware Command Center 6 times (correct version and the different)
I tried shutting down the computer, unplug the power cord and hold the power button for 1-2 minutes thing, didn't work.
I went to reset the map using the Green rider, did not work.
I ran a diagnosis and everything seems fine, don't know if it's testing the Master Control I/O Board.
I'll order an Alienware Aurora ALX Alien FX / Master Control I/O Board, because I am sure that my i/o board is bad.
The reference is 02JXP2 and version 1.1 mine said A02
The white mark on my map of IO said A02, but it has the same part number 02JXP2 and version 1.1.
My question is can I use a Board with the same part number but it says A04?
Here is a picture of the map of IO with the A02, I want to buy a economy part number 02JXP2 and at the bottom says A04 instead, but is a version 1.1.
If anyone as any advice before ordering the card / advice to see if I can get the lights work on my computer?
ThatOne_GamerI don't have the cable that connects the motherboard to the MIO card.
I'm sure that's why my ect lights do not work.
Right... If it is not connected, it cannot work.

Gaming mouse: Razor Naga Molten
Two monitors: 2 x Dell UltraSharp U2713HM 69 cm(27") LED monitor DVI, VGA, HDMI (2560 x 1440), DP black UKI went to very difficult to leave my boyfriend to buy this pc. First of all, that we now live in different countries. I live in the United States and he lives in England. We met on a PS3 game online called DUST 514 and played a lot of pc games together as well. It is difficult to have to steal it back, but we're getting married soon and I'll come to England. He needs a new PC for years and was jealous of my Alienware Aurora R4. So I decided to buy one that is still better than mine since it's even greater player I am . This will also allow us to play more games together .
Then I he wired the money and thought that everything would be ok, but you wouldn't believe the amount of screw - rises, that Dell threw on him! They had even cancel a bunch of commands of the peoples, b/c, trying to control his spec-ed on Alienware has revealed a major screw-up affecting many clients... (Sorry, it made me delete/modify-this until his order passes through. Dell representatives were concerned about what happened past. I don't know if they told people that they had to cancel the real reason why orders and the possible impact on customers with currently Alienware Aurora... I'll tell you what they have done after that his order is finally through. Just a hint... inside your Alienware Aurora, check if you own to make sure that everything you ordered is actually there...) He tried to do this for a week now... I thought Dell was a little better than that... I knew they had bad grades, but really?... In any case, it is a complete system stressed mess of it all back and on phone calls and e-mails with different people of Dell. So I thought that, if it still manages to get the Alienware, maybe I can do even better!
He really should have an SSD, so I'll get a. He was talking and drool on the maps of Titan, so I'll give him two EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Superclocked 6 GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI - Express cards in SLI config! : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-06gp42791kr
I've never built a pc or tinkered with all hardware. I want to make this even more impressive pc by adding an SSD. I think I can install an SSD without any problem (I want the Samsung 849 EVO Mz-7TE1T0BW 2.5 "1 TB SSD)... Oops... I just thought of something... 4 TB SATA is actually 4 2 TB SATAs, put in place with 2 as the mirror... I think that there are only 4 connectors for extension for SSD/HDD... Is this correct? I have to replace one of the SATAs 2 TB with the 1 TB SSD? What configuration I would define then the three SATAs 2 TB? Would it be to say that he would have only 1 TB SATA? Could I set up so that it has SATA 1.5 TB (with SATAs split with half active and part of the half of the mirror for a RAID configuration)? Furthermore, I have really no idea what RAID is or fact, just that you only half of total storage really active and the second half is as a backup in case of failure of a disk or something to avoid any data loss total... It is also the thing that I'm confused about that I don't know if it is also possible to install two graphics cards of Titan in SLI configuration on the micro ATX motherboard, I guess its Alienware Aurora will be, and still less 1 Titan. Yes I know it is exaggeration lol, but the game is very important for us, especially since this is how we met.
Sorry for the long post... Finally, the MAIN POINT & QUESTION:
I have to install a different motherboard like the Asus Rampage Black Edition IV: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-rampageivblackedition in order to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration? If so, how this O_o...? Also, I heard that there is a 'girl' Council that controls the Alien FX LED lighting and ventilation Active... How to connect to the new motherboard (if I need to get a new one)? Also if I get the other motherboard (if this motherboard work with everything) this motherboard would have space for 4 x 2 TB RAID 1 + 0 and the 1 TB SSD SATAs?
Please answer. Thanks, ~ value
Setsukato install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?Don't know why you config-ed with two years 780 in SLI if you want two Titan-SLI but this guy did:
http://en.community.Dell.com/Owners-Club/Alienware/f/3746/p/19512935/20402844.aspx#20402844
Personally, I'd keep just 780 - SLI, since the two configs end up being very similar to the performance. Either they're going run hot (in the game of max.).

Alienware Aurora R4 - upgrade from GTX 555
I'm looking to replace my GTX 555 in my Alienware Aurora R4. I noticed that most GPU as doubletall or with two dvi ports. The GTX 555 is very thin, and starting glancing inside my R4 Aurora, there is not a lot of room.
Should I just get a new GTX 555, or can I get larger maps, which have the doublestack and are much larger then this card.
I don't know what I should get. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Mitch
If you like nVidia (instead of AMD) cards a 770 nVidia card should work fine and not too expensive. Most of the eVGA nVidia cards have a lifetime warranty.
I would work towards a single card solution. Yes, the nicest are double-slot wide.
There are many Web sites that examine video cards and performance.

Small RAM upgrade question for Alienware Aurora R5
Hello! Currently, I have an Alienware Aurora R5 with 2 x 4GB 2133 MHz RAM sticks and am really happy with it so far!
But I would add another stick of 8GB 2133 MHz to bring it up to 16 GB, thing is, I'm not quite sure if I can simply another 8 GB stick fit into the slot XMM3 and make it work.
partly because I couldn't find any documentation on what the latency of tensions/schedules/AR are on the 2 RAM sticks of 4 GB in the pc are currently, and I think as those that are important for the upgrade of ram,
And because of this thing I found in the online manual for the R5
Seems to say that there are only 5 configuration, I can have this set in stone or is it just that they tested?
Thanks, Saucybagel
P.S. I moved here instead of "office computer Forums (Audio, General Hardware, video) ' as advised.
P.P.S. well, positions of copied it exceeds in any case, I don't know if I can move, heh
Hello
Yes, the 8 GB will work on the slot XMM3.

Change of power supply for the Alienware Aurora r4
Hello, since my diet is reel whining I would change it
I was looking for a bit of the PSU and found this one
http://www.EVGA.com/products/product.aspx?PN=210-GQ-0850-v1
is it good?, fit into the section of PSU aurora r4? It will connect to the back plastic, that normal power supply is connected to the rear?
Also I don't know anything about sata cables, but there so much that normal power supply I mean it will be able to connect to what it is now? (only the change requiring more sata is the addition of two extra hdd/ssd (there was a spare sata cables))
and... I need something more than that? (some wires or something?
I have not wand to buy the same PSU again because seeing how it survived...
Hello. I will address this, knowing that other users information. Your old harness case will be removed, the new chassis will have its own cables. The EVGA 850 GQ is ok, but the G2 is better, you can find them on Newegg / eBay / EVGA.com etc.
I posted here, p4 #31, a list of links to swap & material, then go ahead, some links redirect here, like this:
No - ALX a front SATA, so work of any type of SATA cable
Chassis rear a SATA ALX
who need some type of head SATA short height, like the originals
- ALX not can use either type, due before access
- ALX must use 'pass-thru' heads, like the originals, if the power is connected to the wall box
EVGA uses these types of base with non - ALX SATA heads
"standard heads.
above, my Corsair cable has ALX-type amp heads:
- the plastic is a two-piece, the rear insulation snaps off the coast
- in an ALX installation, with the cable above, I would jump off the top, cut the wire to length, & apply two heads on it to mimic the original as close as possible
If I had the EVGA SATA type?, I want to buy x 4 amp heads online:
Note the two types of rear covers: "cap" (for superior insulation) & pass-thru-cap
I would use these to "build" my own pair of cables to match the original cable pair, best I could. I could just shop any spare cable to amp heads, like here. My ALX has a set of hand-made cable, I already have the SATA cable mod, so they mimic the original case harness. Chassis no - ALX may not be no need for this type of care

Search "Power of Aurora" (Exchange of Aurora psu) or similar terms, search for images which could connect you to the messages posted by other users
- not that X-Fire / SLI configs do best when using flat ribbon cables
- EVGA uses sleeved around cables, cable so better manage you can
"" All ATX power supplies are 5.9 "x 3.4", it's length is variable, & 'all' chassis PSU "should" adapt Aurora R1 - R4, with a chassis length 7.5"(190 mm) & shorter: example EVGA G2 is 7.1" length = ok, & my Seasonic 1250 is 7.5 "length, about maximum a person wants. Please read everything in all the links I already posted in, I won't be able to help beyond what I posted here. The G2 if it feels right for your case & know-how (=

How to reinstall a Windows 8 dell alienware aurora r4 to factory settings?
A friend of mine had his PC scammed (guy calls, said you that they are Microsoft and you are infected, enter your PC and then you lock out and ask $ money to let you back in).
Anyway, he has a PC Dell Alienware Aurora R4 (comes with) running Windows 8 or 8.1 - I don't know but I know that he has not improved/changed anything. The system came with a DVD resource (nothing else).
Now all we want to do is to restore factory default, there is nothing about this of any importance to save...
I looked on the internet and found what looks like the right solution:
-Enter advanced service options (holding shift at the start), select "troubleshooting."
> "Icon Dell Backup and Recovery" is missing (how could it be?Without that, I'm totally stuck...
Any suggestions? Recommendations? Ideas?Thank you
After that a clean installation of Windows and the drivers of Dell system, Dell backup and restoration facility will create a new recovery partition of your own installation that you can restore as new factory settings.

I really want to upgrade my graphics card so that I can play on 3 screens as well as have a higher FPs and play at ultra, although the 560 allows me to play in ultra in some games, it does however become super jumpy in Skyrim.
Thanks
Well assuming that your diet is 875Watts and your current GPU GTX 560 ti is using power connectors 2 x 6 pin. The 690 GTX requires however power connectors 2 x 8 pin.
All you have to do is to give the GTX 690 the right amount of power giving him connectors 2 x 8 pin.
Just make sure that you remove your current video adapter and install the GTX 690 in the same dwelling.
GTX 690
GTX 560 TI
the image above shows the power supply, (hidden by a side cover) all the extra cables are hidden there and should be easily accessible.
The image above shows a 2 connector pins for power in the green zone. When you take out GTX 560 Ti power connectors and place inside 690 GTX you need to add additional power connectors 2-pin.
PS, you might be able to find 8 connectors there though.
Good luck
