• Newbie configuration VPN 5505 for client Win7

  I have a client who has an installed 5505. They want VPN with their laptop Win7 but they don't want to shell out $1000 for customer VPN Cisco 10pcs.

  I have correctly set up the VPN without customer and through a browser, they can get to their files, but they would map network drives is just as if they were in the office.

  I tried to configure the IP Sec on 5505 and then using the built-in VPN Win7 network connection, but no go.

  I do also everything through the ASDM, but I know that certain things cannot be done. I prefer to use the ASDM!

  Anyone else get this set up? 99% of what I see here is how to connect the 5505 for VPN site to site.

  To my knowledge all ASA5505 should have the ability to have 2 VPN SSL connections with the Base license. To my knowledge, this also includes using the AnyConnect SSL VPN Client (which replaces the old VPN IPsec Client software) and the VPN without customer via the Web browser.

  The AnyConnect VPN Client should be available on the Flash of the ASA and is set when you configure the Client AnyConnect SSL VPN for the first time.

  On the ASDM, you should be able to configure the client AnyConnect SSL VPN with the "Wizard" as any other type of VPN configuration.

  The AnyConnect VPN Client is a better choice to use the old client IPsec, especially when it comes to new operating systems. The AnyConnect VPN Client can be installed in the ASA at the users computer when he or she first attempts to connect to the ASA via Web browser and connects with his credentials.

  I downloaded the complete JDBC driver packages (* ojdbc5.jar* + ojdbc6.jar + orai18n.jar) for Oracle 11 g to the:

  I downloaded the base + supplement of JDBC Oracle 11 g Instant Client packages to:

  There is a mismatch of files between 2 ways to get jdbc drivers. In the Instant Client version via JDBC-supplement, the orai18n - mapping.jar is present, but not in the sense of JDBC.
  
  Why is the orai18n - mapping.jar present in one way and not the other? Is this a mistake? It's 11 g oracle version...

  Well, in my understanding, Instant client and JDBC drivers are completely different products: JDBC driver is a full set of packages needed to run the JDBC compatible program, that is just to run a program in any Oracle supported environment. On the other hand, client instant is a light version, which does not include several pots and some of them are present in different form, but it is sufficient for most JDBC-programs. See: orai18n.jar is a package that is required for the correct object handling Oracle VARCHARs attributes. It contains files of locales for different languages. In orai18n - mapping.jar, there are not a lot of them, but I guess that it would be sufficient for the same task (probably they stores local not in this version of the JAR, but rather to generate on the fly if necessary with the help of DB - but I don't know for you).

  I have a sbRIO-9636 and you want to use for prototyping of something.  It has 2 headers of IDC 50 pin access to the many inputs/outputs. The problem is that pitch IDC Council is 2 mm instead of the more standard 2.54 mm (0.1 "). I want to access these IOs model, but all the map of derivation that I can find is 2.54 mm (side of header IDC). I did a lot of google search today but no luck so far.

  Is there an easy way to access these sbRIO IO model or a block of endings of the?

  I know that the product manager for the Single-Board RIO is still working on getting this displayed product to ni.com, but NEITHER has recently published a map of derivation IDC cable to the connectors of 2mm on Single-Board RIO.  A single derivation card can provide a Terminal screw to the headers of the e/s analog and e/s digital at the same time. The Board match the holes of the sbRIO-962 x and x sbRIO-963 and can be mounted on the underside of the Single-Board RIO with short cables of 2mm (included) to wrap around the map of derivation.
