marking of the words in a .txt file

Hi all

We have looked everywhere on the internet for a script we can use/buy. But can not find it anywhere.

We have a fairly large document and an external list of words in a .txt file. This list contains the words that should be in the index at the end of the document.

Instead of a few hundred words filling and by linking them to the hand, it would be great if there is a script that can handle this.

We watched in Indexmatic2 (http://www.indiscripts.com/post/2011/07/indexmatic-2-public-release-and-user-s-guide ), but this script generates its own list of index and creates no links to the original words in the document.

We found a script that can create indexes links between words colored in the document.

Then someone knows if there is a script floating around that can load an external .txt wordlist and either color or add a character style to words in a document?

Or even a script that does what you need in 1 GB?

There is a script by Martin Fischer at www.hilfdirselbst.ch (swizz-German site) that might meet your needs. You can download it if you choose to be a premium member, which requires a small fee. It is written for InDesign CS3 but it should work with CS4 or CS5. I tested it with a small list of words, and it worked very well with InDesign CS5.

    Oracle Directory object is not OS directory. It is a definition saying Oracle which OS directory to use. When Oracle run

    1. it checks the Oracle directory object exists tmp_dir

    2. If the Oracle user is allowed to create files on this object directory Oracle (see WRITING privilege granted I posted)

    3 reflects the object of Oracle TMP_DIR for OS directory/tmp directory

    4 creates the file /tmp/output.og owned by OS oracle user with the appropriate permissions on the database server (assuming that OS directory Oracle Directory object points on exists and oracle OS user can create files there).

    Remember, most of the time the OS Oracle user created files permissions are such that the 'others' can even read.

    Unfortunately, this does not work in FM10 (or 11), using the CMYK settings - you have to use RGB and convert colors in the PDF file (with tools like PitstopPro of the Enfocus) or during the stage of postscript with a tool like PubliPDF (see: Grafikhuset Publi PDF for GPL license freebie; details on usage and other information are available at) (: Welcome to Grafikhuset published PDF ).

    You can also try using the joboptions CMYK in RGB mode setting to see if you get an acceptable conversion (be aware that graphics and images in documents may be affected). You must also set GetLibraryColorRGBFromCMYK = None to prevent all doing unnecessary conversions color FM.

    The background color feature works correctly from only FM12 CMYK mode.

    In fact, you can use vregtool for this, but it is a two-step process. First convert the .txt into a file of registry ThinApp:

    vregtool temp.tvr ImportDir.

    Then convert the file of registry ThinApp a Regedit:

    vregtool temp.tvr ExportReg Output.reg

    I'm new to Flash so it's maybe a silly question but I wonder how I can save the data to a .txt file. This .txt file will be stored on the same server that the flash file is stored on and runs. I will, eventually, be able to access the data previously stored on the my flash movie .txt file.

    Any AS3 for this?

  • Export form data to txt file

    I have created a form in LiveCycle. I need to have the data exported to a txt file. Previously, I've created a form in Word and it imported in LC. If this form has been filled out in Adobe and saved, I was able to export the data in a txt file. The form I'm working on now that I created in LC (instead of Word). When I fill the form in Adobe, save and then choose export to txt file, no data export. I have attached two forms: one that works (Unit_5_Preparate) and one that does not (assessment_template_test).

    It was a learning experience (no pun intended).

    If the LC Designer form is saved as 'static' then you will be able to export the data to a text file. If the form is saved as 'dynamic' then you won't be able to export to text file.

    Please, I'm reading the variables in a txt file attached. Variables appear between the lines 5187 to 5236 (49 lines). Below the threshold of 5241 to 5290 (49 lines). After the same variables of the line to line 8342 8293 (49 lines) and line 8347 8396 (49 lines). Among the variables, there is a 3106 line spacing. And so on!

    The Knight of OR helped me a lot to solve part of the problem. His tips were very helpful!

    I would like some advice to unify the txt file variables in just a chart. Is this possible?

  • How to find the largest number of text file

    I use the "Read from the text file" block to read the data in my .txt file in labview.  It is now in the string format.  I have a lot of numbers in the file.

    For example:

    0.45

    0.35

    0.12

    1,354

    1.56

    2.89

    5.89

    0.56

    That's what might look like a text file.  I want to find out which of these numbers is larger and do calculations with this number.  I have problems with channels/number/berries formats, etc.  Thank you

    Try to read that the file with File.vi reading worksheet with transposes the True value. Then use the table Max & Min to get the biggest number in the table.

    If I recreate the first version, I get the same result as what you show for the second version - I do not get the result snapped up as show you.  My guess is that you have the data file prepared incorrectly when you organize the data into it.

    I understand that Automator is too primitive for this, but does not quite know Applescript, Shell script or commands in Terminal to get there.

    You can use the use wizard (Navigator > file > use wizard) to define a new filter to import file for your data. It will take only a minute.

    Please find the uri of the file that I create for you. Copy the attached file in your disk, unzip it and double-click the file uri.

    Then you can open your file by using 'open with '.
