Massive importation of images in Muse?

Is there a method to import complete records and hierarchies of folders in Adobe Muse?

Place the images one at a time is extremely laborious.

We can probably be more useful for the best workflow for creating your site, if we have an idea of the type of site (or a web page) that you plan to create?

The typical workflow in traditional applications of desktop computer and Muse publishing is to import an image or set of images, when you plan to use / them.

You can select multiple files in the file > dialogue Place using the keys Shift or control. The selected files will be loaded into the gun in the place which you can then individually placed (and size) images where you want it on your page (s).

This thread and others you've created or commented in, it seems likely that your previous experience is with applications that have some form of 'active bin' where you need to put everything before being able to use it? It would help us to understand your point of view to know what other applications you're most familiar / comfortable? Muse was created with the professional graphic designers as main target. They tend to have a lot of experience with traditional desktop publishing tools (i.e., InDesign, QuarkXpress, PageMaker). These tools do not have a workflow to "put things in a tray of goods first.

When you save your SVG chart, be sure to check the option to embed images. Otherwise, images will appear in the SVG as a link to a separate file and link-outs when you download the SVG.

  • FILL - import an image. Pixel length limit? Help

    Everything works except for this:

My muse project page size is 1000 x 23573. Its a page long scroll that has text and images. Pretty straight forward and simple.

I created a background image in Photoshop that is also set to the same size as my project muse - 1000x23573pixels.

When I import the file using 'FILL'.jpg - for some reason muse will scale the image down to about 40% smaller then the size actually it should be to. I tried using ' scale to fit or fill in ' etc... But, as it is just no chance distorts the incorrect image.

I did a few tests with lengths shorter to 1000 x 5, 000 and 1000 x 10, 000pixels etc... and it worked fine. But, whatever it is more 10000pixel, more length doesn't seem to work.

Ive also tried drag / drop my image in Muse. Same problem again.

Even tried File_ "Place" and import my base coat as a psd. But there also seems to be a limit with that as well.

Muse has a length limit when importing goods?

I do something wrong in the Muse or Photoshop maybe?

Is there another way to do it without getting a distorted image and to maintain the length 1000 x 23573?

  • How do I import files modified in Muse

Maybe that's an easy synchronization problem if all goes well.

I exported my Muse html files (after the publication in the Biz catalyst) and edit the html code, such as ad href divs in the slideshow, etc.. How can I import these files updated html in Muse so I can post to Business Catalyst?

I know it's an easy way to host the files exported on another server, but I really want to stay in the environment of the Muse/Biz catalyst with update html.

    Thank you very much!!

It's not a way at this time to import HTML files in Muse and wait for it to load in Design view for a re - publish later. The only type of editing that the Muse supports today (apart from Muse) is through function change of Business Catalyst in the browser but that is limited to editing only the text (without form or styles) and the foreground images http://www.adobekb.com/working-with-in-browser-editing_pt01.html>. After you import an image (.jpeg) file for the Photos on my Mac app, can I safely delete this image file to save space on my hard drive?

Yes, you can remove the file from the imported image, if you have imported the image as managed.  IE preferences in ave Photos settled on "import: copy items to the photo library" being the default.

  • Windows Movie Maker-how do to import an image in the animation in the slide show

Windows Movie Maker - issue animation.

(J'ai créé un diaporama à l'aide de Windows Movie Maker et ont utilisé l'installation d'animation désignée comme «Journal», dont associé commente état ' Spins et deles de zooms en overlay) ". I'm interested to know if it is possible to import an image from the computer, in the rectangular segment positioned centrally in the composition of the journal. The rectangular segment would then later become the image full-screen during the last part of the timeline that implies that it would be possible to import an image that would fill then on the screen to create a focus point at this stage. I would like to know how to import such an image - if possible, please.

I've created a show of 'Film' using Windows Movie Maker and have used the "Diary" movie clip I would like to know if it is possible to insert or otherwise import a picture or a photograph in the rectangle that is located approximately in the Center, so that once the movie clip's headed toward the Viewer, the image or photo and then 'zoom in' to fill the frame.

  • Lightroom crashes when importing desktop image

I have LR 2015.6.1 on an iMac. Import from a SD card works fine. But when I try to import an image from my office (a simple JPG), LR crashes. I have to force quit LR and kill a process called "dynamiclinkmediaserver" to get everything back to normal.

Someone at - it an idea about it? Thank you.

    Hi LexvanOorspronk,

Could you please check what is the destination on when you import from office?

Also, try to create a new catalog and see if the problem is reproducible.

  • Import RAW images in too small magnifying glass

Hey guys, I just started my transition from Nikon DSLR to M43 with an Olympus OM - D EM5 ii. I'm having a problem when I try to import raw files into Lightroom. For some reason, Lightroom is not properly rendered preview. As you can see from the photos below, choose 'Fit' is not in fact the image of the loop. In addition, choose zoom 1:1 does not increase my zoom at all. 2:1 and more zoom more, however, it is pixelated. I can't understand why it's different than my Nikon imports. Everyone knows about this problem before? I have provided photos and attached the RAW file. I use Lightroom 6 for PC

So just to be clear, that you suggest that the embedded jpg is too small to give insight in the import menu?

The preview that appears in the LR 6.6.1 module import is 1000 x 750. I extracted the preview built-in with the help of ExifTool and it is 3200 x 2400. For some reason, LR resizes the built-in preview, which is not normal behavior. I suggest this report as a 'problem' here: Photoshop community customer family

    FensterB wrote:

If this is the case, do you find that it is better to import them all, then library view to select and delete?

As Just Shoot Me explained the import module is not the right place to review images. Import all image files in a single Destination folder where you want to keep them permanently (not temporary). At the speed of the import process select under file > build Previews > is 'Embedded or Sidecar' or 'Standard '. Embeded or Sidecar will provide faster import and allow full display screen if your screen resolution is no more than the built-in preview 3200 x 2400 resolution. If your screen is a higher resolution than that you will need to select "Standard". If you absolutely need to examine images for 1:1 you can select 1:1 in the menu dropdown to Import module "previews to build."

Then use tools compare, choose flag, Star Rating, color, keyword and Collection of the library module to review and organize your image files. Once done, you can select all of the 'set as rejected' beating flag image files and delete them. Julianne Kost has some video tutorials. • Import an Image

I learned how to import folders full of images in Lightroom, but what is the best way to import a single image?

If I select a folder, click "Import", and then navigate to a folder on my hard drive and select an image, it imports each image in the folder. So it is not clear to me how to import an image.

Also, is there a way to create an image in Photoshop and save it in a folder in Lightroom, so that it is instantly recognized by Lightroom? Or do I have to also save on my hard drive, then import it?

    Thank you.

    Two parts here.

First, if you drag an image file in LR it loads directory that the image was in. Although it creates an overview of all the images in this directory you moved, only the image you dragged must be verified. Which means you can import this single image. If all the images are checked. Just click on uncheck the box all at the bottom of the window and then click on the box over the image that you want to import.

As if you happen to have this directory in LR and you na no drag and drop. Right click on any thumbnail and see an option to 'Import'.

    OK, now to part 2.

If you open your images as smart objects from Lightroom in Photoshop, then when you choose to save the PSD file it will automatically record to the catalog that the source image was this directory of LR. But, if it isn't. See the image above it also says 'show in Finder '. That tells you the directory where is an image in your catalog. It save it, and this directory should now show the PSD file. If this does not work, go around drag / move. It all works the same. Then, you can move your catalogues or start a collection of PSD files.

    Good luck!

  • Import of images - does not.

Hi all, I have enough new in this latest version of Lightroom and encounter some problems with the import of images in my library.

First of all, I use a PC with operating system Windows 10. Lightroom version 2015.1.2, it updated today too.

I am trying to import both my camera directly and when that failed, I dragged my images on the card to a folder on my desktop and tried to import from there, nothing helps.

Image format is. Taken on a NIKON D3200, apparently supported NAVE according to the camera raw information pages.

The only way I found that lightroom will accept these images is if I import using NIKON's proprietary software and convert. JPG. It's stupid because it makes useless RAW and Lightroom on my computer almost of no use at all.

I am also having similar problems with import in Photoshop CC, it will play the file but insists on changing the format before he opens it.

I'm outgoing my hair, watched countless tutorials and still not bring my imported as images. NAVE.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a screenshot of the last attempt to direct import.

    scrn_shot.jpg

This message means that you don't have WRITE permission in the Destination folder.

    Then

    1. In Lightroom, determine the Destination folder right (it's on the right side, under the Destination)
    2. In your operating system, go to the correct Destination folder found on it and change the permissions of reading & writing

  • questions to import raw images

try to import raw images in LightRoom 5 and continues to receive "the file is not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom. (1)

I downloaded the DNG Converter and have updated to Lightroom and am still not able to get them to import. I use a Nikon d5500 has been added.

    I'm just missing something simple?

The d5500 has been added requires at least 6 of Lightroom. There will be no more updates to Lightroom 5, so your only choice is to use the DNG Converter. You have indicated that you have downloaded the DNG Converter. Some people assume that's all that is needed. However, you must use the DNG Converter, which is a standalone program, to create copies of your raw DNG files. Here is a video that will show you how to use the DNG Converter. And, by the way, you should at least use DNG converter 9.0. You may also download and use the latest version.

Camera Raw: How to use Adobe DNG Converter - YouTube

Note that when you use the DNG Converter you choose a FOLDER that contains your NEF files. Choose the FOLDER, but do not open the file in the DNG Converter. If you do, then you will get the message that there is no file to be converted. Of course, you have the option to upgrade to Lightroom 6 or subscribe to plan creative cloud photography.
