I then updated & ran MSSE on my Toshiba - no threats not found. I then ran Malwarebytes & two threats were each one with the same name: PUM. Disabled.SecurityCenter both at the Date of the registry in HKLM\SOFTE\Microsfot\SecurityCenter\AntiVirusDisableNotify & HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsfot\securityCenterFirewallDisableNotify.  These two have been listed bad: Good (0) (1).  In the Malwarebytes wesite, I read that this has something to do with MSSE. In a commentary, he says it occurs if, in the MS Security Center, the notification "Notify me if my computer might be at risk because of my virus protection software settings" is unchecked.  I then went ahead & check all 3, firewalls, viruses & automatic updates. My computer seems to work well, except that the fan runs all the time (there are a lot of processes running & the CPU usage is very--often 100%, but the computer works fast).

  My questions are: 1) the PUM associated MSSE & the boxes unchecked in MS security Center; (2) should I click on "ignore" in the Malwarebytes scan? 3) was right to check all the boxes in the center of security - "altert me if my computer may be at rist b/c of my xxx software settings?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  Not possible to use a variable in this case to link the label name for a name for the slide.  But I still don't see the purpose at all?

Because you cannot reuse a name of a button, if you have two instances of this button on two different slides, they will need each a different name. If this is the same form button, programmed for the rest of the project, we will always use the same action, needs not even a tip action because it will «Pop X zip» But there is no way to use the name of the button in this action at all. Joint action is possible with X as the parameter, and then you can assign it to all the buttons that have need of this action. But why do you want that the link between the button name and the name of the slide?  Can you explain? My Captivate intuition tells me that there is a misunderstanding, perhaps because of your experiences of Lectora. Captivate is really different, presented on the differences in workflow with an expert Lectora. I no longer use Lectora but the structure, and certainly the way to 'script' is totally different.

• Hide various objects on different slides with the same tip Action

  I'm quite new to Captivate and because of that I'm fighting for the search feature, I need. I have a project of say 40 slides. On each slide, I have a button field on the left side guide and when clicked I have a window scroll from left to right, in the main frame of the window.

  Also on each slide is an object that displays specific information (usually in the form of text) with the previous buttons and following attached to it (its actually just a PNG image with the buttons "Previous" and "Next" with click boxes on them).

  The problem I have is when I click on the field guide that I want to hide this information object. I can easily do this in a tip for 1 slide action but when I want to the same tip action allows to always hide the information object of the current slide that I meet problems. If I was able to name objects of the same name is not a problem.

  The only "fast" solution I have is that each object information on each slide set to hide when I open the guide and then visible when I close the guide.

  Is their a better solution or does this supposed same matter?

  Why you not time the objects for the rest of the project, always on top? In this case, you will have an ID (I recommend you even a group). BUT: This means that you cannot use boxes to click but must spend much more flexible form buttons.

  I get to the 2015 PPCC Avid. Avid when you slide and slide you still enter mode Trim, and while you use the keyboard, you can view the 4 monitors to see the beginning and the end of your video clips and clips next to them. Is it possible the first CC 2015? Or can only see you 4 monitors when you drag a clip?

  It seems crazy to me that if you use the keyboard, you need to change the blind IE. can only see the first frame of the clip you are than sliding/slipping. Please tell me that there is another way.

  I just found the answer:

  -Click on the layer in the timeline of the object

  -move the mouse over the object on the slide: you can move with the cursor keys.

  I use 6 Captivate.

  I have a zipper opening for my demo that introduced the demo. This slide contains 1-3 minutes of audio. On this slide, I have a standard button named 'Start', that the learner must click Start the demo (which is on the next slide). I also have a PlayBar with rewind, Play/Pause, Back, Next buttons and Audio.

  Once the project starts, the Play/Pause button on the playback bar turns into mode 'Play '. This, I believe, is an expected behavior because of the presence of the 'button '. However, it causes me problems because, if the learner clicks on the 'Play' button (instead of the start or next buttons) after the end of the audio to the slide of the opening, the progress on the playback bar bar moves for the duration of the audio, so that nothing changes on the screen.

  Is it possible that I can:

  1. Move the progress bar with the button Play/Pause in "Pause" mode when opening, slide audio playback and switch to 'Play' mode once the audio ends? In this case,.

  a. If the learner pauses the audio by clicking Pause and then click on Play, it must continue with the audio.

  b. If the student click on the play button after the audio ends must take sound to the next slide.

  2. turn off the Play/Pause button so that the learner will not click on it?

  I don't want to hide the PlayBar on this slide as I want to give the Rewind option to the learner so play the audio again if he / she wants.

  A colleague found an easier solution than the one I was talking about earlier.

  He just moved the point to pause the start until the end of the slide button. Now, the progress on the playback bar bar moves with audio and the Play/Pause button passes in "Play" mode when audio stops at the end of the slide. On clicking the play button, the project will move to the next slide.
