Mavericks of installation driver Officejet 6310 10.9.2

Just had updates to the Mavericks 10.9.2 and impossible to get the pilots to be recognized. When I add the OJ 6310, I get automatically redirected to use generic PCL or you are prompted for the same thing with a baox dialog box that says "the software for this printer is currently unavailable. You want to use generic software for printing? »

I'm installing a wired ethernet connection, and put all software up to date as follows and all the other steps, to the http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03967522 , the driver is either not recognized or load automatically.

Where can I get a dmg or other package to download and install manually?

Any other ideas?

Multilpe restarts tried, without success.

Once again, the server of ASU of company, isn't open, and VPN connection blocks access to the local printer HP. It's a Catch 22: cannot get USS except throuigh the company network, but unable to connect to the local printer when you are connected to the corporate network.

Downloaded 2.16.1 and run it worked. However, the description of the page is quite inaccurate, and its marking must be modified to give the illusion of being compatible Mavericks. Which HP can notify the owner of this page that information needs to be repaired?

  • Scanner driver problems/communication HP Officejet 6310

Background: buy new pc in 2006 (XP Pro)... Bought Officejet 6310 shortly after.  Installation of the software for printing (on the cd) was perfect and as directed.  Computer HP P7 portable bought in 2011, software downloaded from the HP website, installation was still perfect and according to the guidelines.

This week, I upgraded the old pc from 2006 with new boards (re-used only the cases and the power supply).  Running Win 7 Pro 64-bit.  AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141 downloaded from HP, has begun to install.  Problem started when, during the installation process, I turned on the Officejet 6310 and plugged the USB cable as shown. The below screen appeared... not all devices have been installed.  He remained that way for several minutes... the photo below was my first indication something was wrong.

After waiting for about 3 minutes, it appeared.

Following the instructions, I unplugged and rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled the software... I have downloaded and run the Print and Scan doctor... he could not solve the problem either ('Unable to communicate scanning pilot' was the last word of the doctor).  On my fifth attempt to re - install the software, I got this result.

I sat and waited, and waited, and the software concluded that she had properly installed, even if the photo above also indicates.  At this point, I can print it, but it takes forever and hesitates when printing as if very little data is done by the intermediary.  If I try to use the scanner via the control center, I get the message not found 'HP imaging device.  Also, sometimes, my computer not turn off unless I turn the printer off (the "Shutting down" message remains on the screen until the printer is turned off).

And this message was not present at the end of each attempt installation of the printer:

Then... I followed all the instructions (I think), changed USB ports, tried the print and scan doctor... I don't know what else to do.  Been working with it for a day and a half and I'm out of ideas.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

    [Edited 14/07/12]

One of my friends said that it might be that, since the printer is 6 years old, 64-bit operating system can cause problems and HP probably wouldn't need much resources, writing drivers for everything.  I hope that HP support for their products is better than that.  My Officejet 6310 is not ready to be retired!

    [Published 15/07/12]

Stop the presses!  I'm a little red-faced now... at some point I have disabled Windows Update (I do not remember doing that, but anyway...) I saw that by accident, turned back on and installed the printer software.  I noticed that Windows Update several files and installation of the driver software window indicated that everything was successful.  BUT... I still have a problem with the scanner, but it's a different error... See the image below.

I can print ok, I can copy ok, but I can't scan with the HP Solution Center or the physical button on the printer.  It is here where I am now.

If you have spent any time trying to understand the first problem out, I apologize for my lapse in not ensuring that Windows Update has been enabled.  If anyone has any ideas on the situation as it is, please respond here.  Thank you all for research.

I think I found the problem, although it seems so unlikely for me... I replaced the USB cable and installed the printer software and everything worked fine.  To prove that the cable was at fault, I close the printer down and installed the old cable... the State seemed yet, but when I launched a scan he loses communication before the scan is finished.  I turned off the printer and installed the USB cable replacement and performed the function of scan with no problems.  I repeated this scenario again with the same results... with the original cable (that came with the printer 6 years ago) I had communication errors at the beginning or after a scan.  Installing replacement cable took care of the problem every time.

How can a cable go bad?  I don't understand this.  In any case, it seems to be fixed now... thanks to all that looked and perhaps thought about my problem.  I guess I'll leave the message here for reference.

  • Cannot install Windows 7 drivers for Officejet 6310

I have two computers that have been upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP.  In both cases, the upgrade has been accomplished by wiping the hard drive and do a clean install.  Everything else works on both computers, but I can't install the driver of Windows 7 for my Officejet 6310 on computers.  A computer is 32 bits, while the other is 64-bit, but in both cases, installation dies at the same point.  After, I downloaded the big software package and clicked on run the extracted file.  After I agree with all the terms, it then begins to install.  Within seconds, the on-screen icon indicates that it is "apply the updates", then the installer disappears.  None of the advice given on the troubleshooting page solves the problem.  I've seen a few others this problem in these forums.  Does anyone have a solution?

In addition, please try to jump the application of updates as follows:

While you must agree to the terms of the license, you will see 4 links above.

Select options to use of wireless Internet and the mark No. for both options.

Accept the terms and continue with the installation.

  • El Capitan loaded on my external hard drive disturbed my system preferences Maverick on my drive internal

I currently use the most recent version of Maverick from an internal hard drive on my iMac. I needed to download the demo of Final Cut Pro X or under of El Capitan Yosemite and due to a limitation of version of FCPX. As I had an another Maverick boot on an external drive, I've decided to upgrade this drive to El Capitan. A few hours after the installation was successful, and I was able to download the trial of FCPX. So I planted my system and restarted with my boot Maverick my internal drive. So far so good, however, to my surprise, I can't the system preferences window because it gives me the following message appears "Unable to open the preferences system because of a problem.". Similarly, I get the same message when I load a DVD and the DVD player will automatically load.

I need to go to my applications and open the program individual (Preferences system and DVD player to do what I want to accomplish.

I restored tOSX recovery Mignot, but nothing has changed. I believe that El Capitan installation on another drive has created conflicts.

I also discovered that my backup should be completely redone (i.e. backup lull in my go 530)... beautiful!

    Someone has a similar problem?

If I can't solve this problem, I have to install El Capitan on my internal drive and maybe the problem will be solved.

I would eject the external hard drive with the installation of El Capitan and see if it helps.

FWIW, I have never known or seen reported when an installation on an external drive also changed the preferences on the internal drive.

I suggest that you eliminate problems in your user folder by checking in the comments or in a new user.

    CREATE A NEW USER

Go to system-> Preferences, create a new user in users and groups.

Place in the new user by logging in under the Apple in the menu bar.

Log in to the new user.

You can ignore connect them with one identifier Apple. Hit continue and then jump.

Only applications Apple will be on the dock.

Go to Applications to open other applications.

    You still see the issue?

If Yes, then the problem is with your core files.

If not, then the problem is in your user folder.

You have the time Machine and internal backups of your disk clone?

I'm new to Mac . I have a HP Officejet 6310 and a Macbook Pro running Mac OS x 10.5.8.

My printer works when connected to my Macbook directly using the USB cable. The problem is when I try to print when my printer is connected to my D-Link router via USB and my Macbook has a wireless connection to the network. The printer is not found.

I can print from my computer Dell laptop on the network wireless but not not using my Macbook. I am only able to print from the Macbook if connected directly to the printer.

When I try to manually connect to the printer by typing the IP address I get the following error: "could not connect on your device setup assistant.

I also tried to add the printer using system on PPI Protocol preferences but no joy there either.

    Hello

Thank you. This helped me to solve a similar problem.

I have an HP 1022n compatible IP printer on my network, but could not install it with any HP installers. It does not appear in the device lists, and I couldn't add it manually via the IP address.

Using the Mac printer setup I was able to install it, but nothing happened when I introduced printing to it.

At the end of the day, I deleted the printer via the Mac printer setup and reinstalled using "HP Jetdirect - taken" under "HP Laserjet 1022 - Gutenprint v5.2.3" and Protocol as the printer software.

    That did the trick.

The printer still does not appear in "Utility from HP" or "HP Installation Wizard", but at least I can print to it.

  • Install driver OfficeJet Pro X476dw on Win 7 Enterprise 64 bits without administrator rights

    Hi all

I have an OfficeJet Pro X476dw for my home office and I would like to use this printer on my company PC. Unfortunately the standard company of Win7 64 bit installation does not come with a set of drivers for the OfficeJet Pro X476dw. Unfortunately my company does not allow installation of company not certified pilots and they decline my request to certify the official HP drivers. So my question:

is there any driver easily integrated in Windows 7 which could be used to run the X476dw of OfficeJet Pro

    Any advice is welcome!

    Best regards

    EMVH

    Thanks Futoji,

Meanwhile, I figured out how to fix it for my Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit:

    (1) download the PCL 6 printer with installer driver

    (2) run the Installer (which will fail)

    (3) get the extracted files (must be in c:\users\ (you'll identify it through the most recent date, the copy path))

    (4) kick-off detection routine printer using 'Add printer' > ' add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

    (5) take the printer without specification of 3911 port

    (6) select 'have disk... '. "and will give the driver (path of the dough)

    (7) select HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw MFP PCL6 driver

    (8) test

    It worked for me.

    Best regards

  • All-in-one Officejet 6310

    Greetings.

It's been a few weeks I finally used my printer (an Officejet 6310 purchased in March 2009) and, while the black ink tank is running out, I'm not still getting a message telling me to replace the cartridge. My problem is that when I tried to print a text document or an Excel spreadsheet only all other lines prints. What print is very dark, crisp and readable (not like a page that printed while the ink is running very low), but it ignores all other lines. I also printed a .gif image file and it printed perfectly.

I have never seen anything like this before.

Anyone know what is happening here?

At work today, I was advised to download the driver and reinstall. This seems to have solved the problem.

  • I just replaced the black cartridge on my HP Officejet 6310 printer and get a message that I need to replace the cartridge. What is the problem?

Officejet 6310 printer will not print.

Again - the cartridge and DATED?  Did you remove all plastic covering the nozzle before insert?  Have you read in the Quick Installation Guide that you have when you first set up the printer?

If still no joy and it's a genuine HP cartridge, contact HP and get them to replace it.

  • I have a HP Officejet 6310 and want to install it on my new HP Pavilion Touchsmart Sleekbook 14.

I have a HP Officejet 6310 and just bought a new HP Pavilion Touchsmart 14 - b109wm sleekbook.  How do we install the old printer on my new computer? The printer has a cable to the computer. Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Hi RSM288,

    Welcome to the HP forums!

To install your Officejet 6310 on your new Touchsmart PC, I highly recommend that you download and run the HP printer installation wizard. This tool will find and download the software for you on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. You can leave the USB cable plugged all the time and that makes things easier as well

Let me know if that helps!

  • HP Officejet 6310: Broken printer HP Officejet 6310?

When I broke the power connector HP Officejet, the cord of the HP Officejet 6310 to the power adapter, I broke the HP Officejet 6310. So I used a power connector HP Deskjet 1000 replaces the HP Officejet 6310 power connector, and when I plugged everything in, I got a reading on the screen HP 6310 power "Reset". Is my broken HP Officejet 6310? Or you do NOT know yet because the HP Deskjet 1000 power connector is not compatible with the HP Officejet 6310? Please let me know. Thank you!

    Hello

The HP Officejet 6310 uses part # 0957-2175, which is

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-0957-2175-AC-adapter/DP/B002MB9ERK

and the HP Deskjet 1000 part #0957-2286, i.e.:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02435664

I don't think that the power supply for HP Deskjet 1000 has enough power for the HP Officejet 6310 or is not compatible. But we don't know or some other factors. You must spend $15 to buy the right power supply for HP Officejet 6310, this is the only way to ensure that it is still alive or not.

    Kind regards.
