HP Officejet 6310: Broken printer HP Officejet 6310?

When I broke the power connector HP Officejet, the cord of the HP Officejet 6310 to the power adapter, I broke the HP Officejet 6310. So I used a power connector HP Deskjet 1000 replaces the HP Officejet 6310 power connector, and when I plugged everything in, I got a reading on the screen HP 6310 power "Reset". Is my broken HP Officejet 6310? Or you do NOT know yet because the HP Deskjet 1000 power connector is not compatible with the HP Officejet 6310? Please let me know. Thank you!

Hello

The HP Officejet 6310 uses part # 0957-2175, which is

http://www.Amazon.com/HP-0957-2175-AC-adapter/DP/B002MB9ERK

and the HP Deskjet 1000 part #0957-2286, i.e.:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02435664

I don't think that the power supply for HP Deskjet 1000 has enough power for the HP Officejet 6310 or is not compatible. But we don't know or some other factors. You must spend $15 to buy the right power supply for HP Officejet 6310, this is the only way to ensure that it is still alive or not.

Kind regards.

  • Remove a broken printer eprint/web services settings

My connected printer eprint has been ruined by a bolt of lightning on our phone line (as well as a few other things ).

I now have a replacement and have everything set up under my account eprintCenter but wanted to transfer my email eprint pleasant, easy to my new printer.

I obviously was not allowed to have 2 printers under the same email address, so follow my sense of logic and the old fried printer removed from my account.  My sense of the logic seems to be a little off because I can't still use the old address eprint for my new printer and I guess it's because the broken still has its "created" according to HP web services.

Any suggestions on how I de-register the printer fried Kentucky web services? That will allow me to reuse my really good eprint address? Or have I lost this one for good by removing the printer broken from my account and I now live with a not as good email eprint?

    Hello

Sorry to hear that you have had the misfortune of lightning.

Unfortunately, your old old email is locked and can not be reused for a different printer.  I hope that you can make a change to your old email address that changes only slightly and allows him to be accepted for your new printer.

  • Broken printer?

I have problems with my HP Photosmart C4385 all-in-one printer.  I used it without incident for 5 years and more.  Today, the screen reads "Printing cartridge in the wrong location."  I did the following: removed and replaced ink cartridges and I turned off the and disconnected the power plug from socket.  When turned on, it sounds like the coursel cartridge moves and try to align repeatidly.  It is likely that a component is broken and needs to be repaired?  Thank you for your suggestions.

    Hi Gahug,

Please make sure that the cartridges are in the appropriate housing.

    • The print cartridge three colors goes in the slot on the left.
    • The black cartridge or the photo goes into the slot on the right.

Have you recently replaced the cartridges of printers? You use genuine HP cartridges or reloaded cartridges? If you use a refilled cartridge, it is possible that electronics in the cartridge will not function properly. If this is the case, you will need to replace the cartridges.

Another possibility is that the cartridges need to be cleaned. This page has instructions for the cleaning of the cartridges (three "Solution, approximately 1/3 from the bottom of page).

Please let me know if that solves the problem or not.

  • Module - registered models of user - broken printing! -Paper: (none)

Hi all, I recently got a new printer and now it would appear that my models registered earlier (before the new printer) in the print Module user is no longer defined the size of the paper properly which means that the print page stored in the template of the user is all messed up.  Specifically the user models I speak, the place where originally thrown out on paper 13 x 19 and when I select the user model is displayed by default back to a paper size 8.5 x 11 (but the print module reports it as paper: (none) and LR greenhouse just the layout of photo in the small size of paper 8.5 x 11 all overlapping.)

If I create a new page layout 13 x 19 and save it as a new model of the user, it works as expected.

I can tell you also that all previously recorded prints within the Library - Collection also seems to be broken in a similar way.  IE when I select the arrow next to the print icon (which takes you to the print module) Watch also printing on paper: (none) but looks like 8.5 x 11, when it used to be on a paper size 13 x 19.

All I can think is that it was at the time of the new printer.  Left an Epson Stylus 1400 for a P600 Epson if it helps people to solve the problem.

LR CC 2015.5.1 on Win10 64 bit running.

    Issues related to the:

-A anyone else seen this problem?

    Is there a solution?

-Are there a way to "restore/fix" user saved earlier models or impressions recorded in a paper size 13 x 19?

-Do LR saves in the saved drawings or models of user information' "personal printer"? ""  (I would have not thought so)

    Thank you

    Tyson

    A new printer!

You will need to choose a model---

    GoTo [Page Layout]

    Select your new printer

Select the paper size and other options in the printer dialog box

    Close printer dialog box

Right-click on the model in the Model Explorer Panel and choose "Update with current settings"

I think that using your 'old' printer models will not work!

  • HP All In One Officejet 4500: HP print jobs all in a single Officejet 4500 disappear. Print test pages. NO ERROR MESSAGE.

Lenovo Thinkpad T61 refurb bought last fall. Today when you attempt to print a page of a web site (Firefox, latest update installed today) the print job has disappeared. I tried e-mail (Thunderbird and web) and files, and in all cases, the print job goes away completely. I did all the steps of printing test pages, and they all work very well. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the printer, without result.  I tried new drivers or updated without result.

The light of attention seems to be on, but it is very weak and disappears when the printer goes into powersave mode. There is NO error anywhere, nothing appears on the search via the control panel.

At this point, I have a broken printer? A situation of system restore?

A wasted two hours and I'm about to be really annoyed. Ideas appreciated. TQ

How very special. Not your answer, thank you very much for your time. But there were two solutions posted much sooner, within a very short time after I posted the question. Confined together part both of the solution and the rest of the solution were, essentially, download the software version of seven 2014, which supersedes what I had. So, I've marked the post as solved, says thanks a lot and thought no more about it. (Although I am still puzzled as to why it happened in the first place.) Now, my post is reopened, the responses of two originals have disappeared, and yours have been replaced, all this without any explanation. It's just a bit too scary. Fortunately, the problem seems to have been fixed by the software update. So, I'm marking as closed/resolved. Thank you.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600: Help: I changed the cartridges and they are locked (JO 6800)

I had a few problems print quality with my OfficeJet Pro 8600 and I changed the ink cartridges (950/951XL). Unfortunately, the problems are remained so, instead of buying a new printer head, I bought a new printer: a 6015 OfficeJet at Staples. First of all, I had to install the set up of the cartridges but pass them the old printer, which I had already brought to the depot of garbage to new XL versions. And guess what? The cartridges were locked! Now, I have to remove the locks in the old broken printer (what is left) or I can throw them-which is a shame because I bought the new 8615 especaially because it uses the same (expensive) XL cartridges. Please HP: help me. A loyal customer.

Any cartridge that is installed in your Officejet Pro 8600 would not be usable in another printer, including a different of Officejet Pro 8600 8600 Pro Officejet "cartridge protection" was defined.  This cannot be reset, even in the original printer.  Turning off the cartridge of the printer's built-in web server protection will not affect future cartridges installed in the machine.

Given the circumstances, I suggest call HP and ask if they can help to.  If they decline please post here and I'll see if I can help with a different approach.

You can disable the protection of the cartridge in your Pro Officejet 8615 for the future.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro XI - print to PDF-broken

Hello. I have recently noticed a problem with the printer driver PDF Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Print all PDF functions seem to be broken.

    Web browser applications:

Firefox (my main web browser), the print driver invites you to me which file I want to save the PDF and then the status bar for the printing/conversion process will reach 50% and display the title of the error message dialog box: error in the printer. Dialog box Message: an error occurred during printing.

In Chrome, the print job to tempt me to a file name and after I click on 'Print', nothing would happen. No error message. No PDF file is created.

In Microsoft Edge, the same result as directed by Chrome. No error message. No PDF file is created.

    In Adobe Acrobat Reader DC:

Print results Adobe PDF printer in two error dialog boxes, "the document could not be printed" followed by "it has not chosen to print pages". This is despite the fact that 'All' has been selected as an option in "Pages to print" in the print dialog box.

    In the Office Applications:

Same results according to the Chrome and Microsoft test Edge. No error message. No PDF file is created.

    In other applications:

Thunderbird translated "an error occurred when printing"

Notepad translated "the handle is invalid."

The last time I could print to PDF with success was before Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Windows 10 upgrade (from Windows 7 Ultimate).

I tried a "repair Acrobat Installation" under the drop-down help Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and despite an attempt to repair under the administrator account, it has not solved the problem.

I do not experience these symptoms on my 3 Surface Pro, which is also running Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Windows 10 (upgrade of Windows 8.1).

Is anyone else facing similar issues on Windows 10? I noticed another thread on a broken print in PDF format, but that one seems to be content to users of Windows 7.

Any idea or advice would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem. Using Procmon and found that install Acrobat was written to the registry entry to distill 11 but distill has been reading the registry entry for Distiller 10. Basically, I used regedit, exported HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Distiller\11.0, opens the file in Notepad, changed all 11 in the tens, then imported. Worked perfect after that.

  • Officejet6500 does not print

HP officejet 6500 - all print functions seem to work well, but black ink Won't come thru despite 2 cartridges again.

STAPLES has diagnosed the problem as a broken print head, which seems reasonable, because the machine is several years old and has echoes the sounds of grinding for a while and serious.  Repair would cost about the same as a new machine.

  • DeskJet D1455 is no longer prints * FLASHES POWER LIGHT *.

I had my Deskjet for more than 5 years, no problem.  2 weeks ago it suddenly stopped printing, it is the little light on the power button blinks nonstop until the printer is turned off.  I tried powering down and turning them back, several times without result.  I tried to unplug the printer completely and leave unplugged for hours, but still it will not be printed.  There is no paper jam, from what I see and the cratridges of ink are relatively new.  Can someone help me save my printer and my sanity?

    More details:

-Will not even feeding of the paper, is it flashes with no result.

-When it is turned on the movement that makes starting and a regular shift is the same, he did before it quit on me.

-L' printer is connected to the top to my laptop when I try to send a document to print.

Here are the cost-effective solution, I came with, hope, it helps a person in the future.

Conclusion to my printer problem: I must have done wrecked the feed mechanism when I incorrectly removed a paper my printer HP Deskjet paper jam.  As I learned through the link provided by pcwizard (above), you are supposed to erase the paper at the back of the printer jams, never by pulling on front jam - which I did.

Ultimate solution to the problem: I went on craigslist and in 1 minute, found an hp printer that scans and the fact many more that my broken could never do, only sell for $15.  I asked the seller if I could find their place and see the printer in action (to check that it works).  The result was that I went with a printer 5 year old who was in very good condition and use the same exact ink cartridges my broken printer did!

Note If you are considering buying a used printer: make sure it is compatible with your ink cartridges cheaper out there in the market, high number of printers on c-list were great fantasy and very cheap, but after some research online, I found this is because the cost of a cartridge was in the $40! Also urdge the seller so you can see the printer actually print something, the first printer I have considered that the seller refused to do provided a plausabile but unlikely history.

    • In addition, don't be surprised if the CD (if any) goes hand in hand with your used printer has drivers that do not support your compuer new operating system.  I thought that I made a bad purchase when I could not print, but after a quick search of the model of the printer on the hpwebsite here, I found the drivers for Windows 7 and downloaded.  Everything works fine now!

The moral of the story: don't think clear a paper jam is an easy thing, instead of search online to make sure do you it properly before you break your printer.  In addition, the world isn't over if your printer clonked out and, most likely, you can easily find a replacement at a low price in your area!

Thanks for the link pcwizard, and I hope that this help anyone can always run across a similar problem.

  • USB printer not recognized after Windows update

    OT: usb device not recognized

After that suddenly stop, reboot, done, the device is plugged in where the printer indicates that it does not recognize the device. I said abattissent unplug it and reconnect it and if it doesn't work me to replace... I re install the driver for the Hpdeskjet940c but nothing works...

    Hello grasshopper.

This problem may be caused mainly by broken printer drivers, this could have been caused when you installed the updates. I suggest that you start with a restoration of the system on the computer by choosing a restore point when it was working fine.

    a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.

    b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

    d. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

    e. click Finish.

You can see the following article for reference:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

You can also try driver restore on the computer and check if it helps.

To roll back a driver in Windows send the driver to the version that was finally installed for the device. Restoring a driver is an easy way to return a driver for a working version when a driver update fails to fix a problem or maybe even a new problem.

    a. open the Device Manager. To do this, click Start, type device in the area Manager search and then click on Device Manager in the list programs.

    b. right click on the device for which the previous version of the driver is desired and then click Properties.

    c. click the tab drivers.

    d. click on Roll Back Driver.

  • Officejet 6310 all-in-One fainted during the printing and copying

I have an Officejet 6310 all-in-one.  I have Windows Vista.  Yesterday, I replaced the black cartridge with HP98.  Now when I make copies or print a document, print the page gets more light and more light, about 1/3 to 1/2 through the page and very light down by a horizontal white line through the text.  I cleaned the cartridge with a damp cloth, I ran the command of cartridges clean but also align the cartridges.  I turned off the printer and unplugged and restarted again.  When I run a self-test page, especially the black line went up to 2/3 of the way, then it is empty at the top and gets darker, then the last 1/3 is fine.  The test pattern shows a few holes in the grid to black.

I just checked the cushion under the black ink cartridge and it is saturated with ink.  I don't know that is where the problem originated.  I would be very grateful of any advice to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

Is it a HP cartridge or a charging/reman?  It seems to be a faulty cartridge.  If it is an original HP, then check the warranty of the cartridge as shown here.

It is unlikely that the ink that you see in the field of the service station is the issue.  The ink that you see is the result of the normal maintenance routine that the printer uses to keep the printheads from clogging.  It is normal that there is ink in this area.
