Maximum size allowed for downloading files

Hello
I've coded an image uploader, which divides the image into blocks of size 8 KB (8192 bytes). The problem is that the download process takes too long. I want to maximize the size of the segment. What is the maximum size for the file http posted in BIS for any model of BB?

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion of Peter! It works very well with 32K.

  • maximum size allowed in sandbox app playbook

    Hello

I could not find information in the documentation of BB, so I ask you.

Y at - it a maximum size allowed in the sandbox application playbook?

Indeed, I would like to upload files and store them in my application data folder and let me know if I'm going to be limited by the size.

Also, is it possible to create subfolders in the data folder?

    Thank you

    Nicolas

Subfolders in data / should be doable.

You mean the gigabytes of data?

If you have files persist a long time ago (eg. you picked up a bunch of files mp3 for some reason any), so it would be nice if your app would be empty this cache sometimes, or provide the user a way to do it through your application.

I suggest this is because users do not have access to your sandbox app, so they may not be able to know why they are low on disk space and fix the problem.  Just uninstall your application will cause tray data sandbox should be deleted.

Your other option would be to use a shared folder under / somewhere (maybe shared/downloads/your_app_name).  This way users would be free to clean files on their own, but it has the disadvantage that when your application is uninstalled, the files will remain and the use of disk space.

The tmp / folder in your sandbox can also be used to store large files, but it is cleaned when your application terminates.

    See you soon,.

  • "your security settings do not allow for this file to download" - AGAIN!

    Hello

I can't download apps and programs. I received a lot of help on the forum, but nothing helped. More recently, I went to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135 and follow the instructions. Nice instructions. Had no effect. Also made sure anti-viral and firewall is absent.

Examples of what I tried to download is 'amazon games and software downloader' and 'Amazon kindle app for pc.

I am running windows 7 starter edition.

There is something fundamentally wrong with my Windows. Yes?

If you think you have a fix for this, you can come back. It's my Windows community sixth or eighth in this test.

    Al

To solve your problem, follow these steps:

Note: Download only the files and programs on trusted sites. Downloading files at risk since it can contain malware and viruses that can damage the system. Change the security settings for download at your own risk. Make sure you have an Antivirus running on the bottom before downloading programs.

(Make sure to close any browser you use before performing the steps)

    1. click on Start > Control Panel

    2. click on network and Internet > Internet Options

    3. click on the Security tab, click custom level... button (see image below).

    4. now scroll down to the download section and under file download, choose Activate.

    An update on the results.

  • Maximum size of the VMDK file we can assign during the P2V?

    Hello.

We conduct P2V for a server physical and would like to address one of the disk for P2V.

Rather than extend the VMDK disk in the future, we would like to extend during P2V.  Given that VMDK file maximum size is 2 TB for ESXi host, we can assign 2 TB for this VMDK file OR there is a recommended maximum size to use?

    Thank you

I have myself yet, but I guess you should be able to assign the maximum size of virtual disk, depending on the block size of the data store (for ESXi versions before the 5.x/VMFS-5). That said, I suggest that you don't assign it more than 2 032 GB in order to create snapshots for this virtual disk (see "calculates the time system required by the snapshot files" at http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1012384)

  • More 1740bytes cannot retrieve cache Firefox12 in Windows7.The files files files can store the maximum size of a single file only 1740bytes?

I can't get flv (YouTube video) larger files that 1740bytes of Firefox12 in Windows7 cache files, cause whenever I have search in the files, I can only find files with unique maximum file size 1740bytes and video files flv from YouTube are significantly larger than that. So, how can I get it back only the cache YouTube video file?
But Firefox12 does not have this problem occurs in Windows XP.
Furthermore, what is the maximum single file size in Firefox12 cache files?

It has just begun to surface on the Web more. This seems not to be a browser problem, as happens in my opera and IE too. Apparently, YouTube has decided to not let us perceive his videos more and their place is cutting in 1 740 ko somehow files be reconstructed with its own codes when needed to play. Others are also noticed that if you make a pause a video is not going to preload as it used to- but a short distance. No doubt it is pre-configured as a segment of 1 740 both and support even not all except if you look at all this.

  • Security settings allow to download files when you try to open a file

I am trying to download 2 files that someone sent me.  When I try to open a message and say my security settings only allow to download.  How to fix this?

If you use Windows Live Mail, click on the drop-down list at the top left, click on Options and Security Options. Click the Security tab, and then uncheck "do not allow the opening or saving attachments that could contain a virus.

If you use a different e-mail program, you should be able to find the equivalent settings.

  • the maximum size of the accessible files in write in XP SP3

I have inserted a well-known 32Gig flash into my USB memory and attempted to transfer 4 4Gig files in memory.  After only 3 file transfer, the transfer stopped and displayed the message that flash memory was full.  I checked the properties, and he showed that only 12Gig had been used. Is there a limit to how many files can be transferred?  I can't transfer more files to the flash memory.  Help!

Check the format of the flash drive.  If it is formatted in FAT32 there is a limit of 4 GB in less than one byte for the maximum file size for a single file.  Format to NTFS and your problems should go away.

  • Custom fonts: min and max maximum size on the font file?

    Hello

What is the limit of file size (max and min) on the font file for loading custom fonts?

I have search the Forum and found a comment by Peter_strange.

"The documentation says 60 K or 90K depending on how load you, 90 K if you load a an InputStream memory."

But I want to be sure, share please if someone has the info.

    Thank you.

    Pradeep thanks for your clarification.

Now, I checked that there is no limit of min file size and maximum file size limit is 90 KB for load of cases and 60 KB in case of direct load flow.

I also have a resource good sample by peter_strange -.

  • What determines the maximum size of a data file store?

I have two SAN devices that serve as warehouses of data for virtual machines.  When you look in the view of data warehouses, the Configuration tab, selection of a host (although a data store is selected in the tree view in the left pane), then selcting properties for this data store.

On a data store the total capacity is 600 GB, VMFS3.33, Max File Size 256 & Block Size 1 MB

On the other data store the total capacity is 1.42 to, VMFS3.46, Maximum File Size 1024 GB, & block size 4 MB

Of course, I understand that the amount of free space in a data store can limit the size a file size may be, but I wonder what are the other factors.

It is the block size when you format first. If you need more large file size the only way again is to reformat. http://KB.VMware.com/kb/1003565

  • Maximum size of the psd file of CS5 2 gig?

I´m PS CS5 64 bit on a system Win7 w 4 GB of RAM running. I ve read somewhere on a PSD file size limited to 2 giga max.

    Still holds true?

Same thing on a mac w 8gig of RAM (and PS CS5 64-bit)?

Thank you all for your comments!

    Cheers, Erbs

It can only be read by Photoshop CS or newer. Don't know about Illustrator, but it's probably the same for her. You can also try using the format of TIFF files that supports up to 4 GB in size, but once again, only Photoshop CS or newer will open them if they are beyond 2 GB

  • The maximum size of the Captivate file

Is there a limitation of file size of Captivate projects or a maximum number of slides that can be included in a project?

    Hi Jay

I saw some other report that Support Adobe boasts a 50 meg orientation 'Cap '. I have always recommended 50-65 slides as a very broad and general upper limit. That varies of course, depends on several factors. The number of objects on each slide, the dimensions off-brand project, etc.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Maximum size LOG_BUFFER

    Hi guys,.

I have a question about the LOG_BUFFER initialization parameter. What is the maximum size allowed for this value? I got some online forums that high values does not benefit a lot, but there is no harm in spending. What I have is a very huge table updated - that I am segmentation using parallelism DIY (from Tom Kyte) and execution of 5-6 pieces at a time. During the execution, most expect the reported event is on "log buffer space" event. If I understand correctly, it is either because of the disks slow log or a bad tuning log_buffer. Before entering disk speeds, I would get clarity on LOG_BUFFER.

Now, I tried to increase the value, but no matter what value I give in the init.ora file, does not 'see the log_buffer parameter' above 268427264 (I think it's almost 256 MB). I tried to give 2GB in the init.ora file, but it does not exceed 256 MB. How did this upper limit calculated by Oracle? And how can I increase it?

    Could you please help?

    Oracle version: 11.2.0.3.0

    OPERATING SYSTEM: IBM AIX 7.1

Number of cores: 4; Number of VCPU: 4; So that gives 16 processors

    RAM: 40 GB

    SGA_MAX_SIZE: 15G

    SGA_TARGET: 0

    PGA_TARGET: 1 G

If you need more info, please let me know.

    Directly from the documentation.

    https://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E18283_01/server.112/e17110/initparams129.htm

You won't get more 256 MB

  • Hard disk - storage space Maximum allowed for Pavilion G7 2233 cl

    Hello world

Long time lurker, first time here poster.  This forum helped me a lot when I removed Windows 8 and Windows 7 Professional installed for helping me find the right drivers for everything.  So thank you all for this.

in any case, on my question...

I'm modding my HP Pavillion G7 2233 portable cl.  I added a 512 GB SSD Crucial MX100, but I saw somewhere that someone who has exactly the same laptop replaced the DVD optical drive with a caddy to hold a second hard drive.  I want to add a second hard drive to use as media storage space, documents, video, photos, etc.  He will see a lot of movement between the download, delete, etc..  I didn't want my SSD doing so wear out prematurely.  I already bought a caddy for that.

My question is what is the spaced maximum storage allowed for the Pavilion G7 2233 cl?  I couldn't find the info on the BIOS to tell us what it is.

I have Windows 7 Professional installed (came pre-installed with Windows 8, but has been removed because it caused so many problems).

Happiness is not around the corner... it's IN the corner

1 TB is now the 'bigger' standard hard drive for your laptop (2 TB or 3 TB for desktop computers). There are bigger drives for laptops out there, but assistive technology that storage in a small space is still fairly new. Especially with new laptops, there is not a limit, in itself, the size of the hard drive, you can install.
