McAfee uninstall problem

Here's my problem, I have a new Acer E1-771-6458 running windows 7. Pre-installed McAfee, I would like to uninstall. However when I got to the "program uninstall/change", he brings me to a window asking me what I would take away no matter what I select (without McAfee security Suite with "delete all files for this program") he brings me to the "navigation to this web page has been cancelled.

Ive tried to delete the files directly from the "computer > acer (C :)> program files (x 86) > McAfee). It wonder administrative authorization (I give) but then says I need 'permission to perform this action' even on the bed in the admin user, the admin privleges do not work.

  • Internet Explorer and uninstall problem

    I usually use IE v7, but for some reason, this week it just stop working. I tried to uninstall the existing program with the intent to download a new version.

    Question 1. When I went on the program installation/uninstallation and clicked on IE to uninstall, the uninstall did not show upward. The only place where I could see it was at the top of the screen. He disappeared when I clicked on the program, I wanted to uninstall.

    Question 2. I advanced and downloaded a new version and installed, thinking he could just replace the existing version on its own. I am unsure as to if this happened or not.

    So here is what is happening since. The first time I opened the program, it worked. I got a message type as a popup to Norton saying something about phising - I did what was suggested and IE open.

    Since then, however, when I try to open the program, it seems to get stuck and I have a white screen (at the top of the screen, however, shows that IE is "connect". I was bit lucky because I can hit the Refresh button or the Home icon and it will open. This process takes a lot of time, unfortunately.

    I would use Mozilla Firefox, but I give courses online and there is a printing problem with this program and the one I use. The two are familiar, but nothing is apparently done to remedy.

    Any suggestions?

Even when I try to install all the Asian Dynasties installation program once again, try to uninstall and fails to do so, stating the reason in the form of two missing files. Is it possible to remove the traces of the previous installation, as all the files in the installation directory have been removed?

    Hey aniket_s,

    What are the two missing files?

    You may need to rely on software from third parties to remove the traces of the previous installation of the registry.

    Please use your favorite search engine, and find one that is used.

    Before reinstalling the game, temporarily disable any anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware software running on your system, then try reinstalling.

  • installation uninstall problems under xp pro. Fix, he says: go, not in Add Remove. don't leave me not re install program

    Due to a major accident due to the power failure during the installation of the driver updates, I had to re install a good large number of programs, one being intelitype pro.

    Made the normal elimination with add and remove, but kept having the program stopped asking for the disc, even if it was in the player and had been directed to it many times.  The program kept appearing and disappearing in the Add/Remove window.  It was not found in the programs.  Finally turned to fix.  I found patches corrupted in the registry and these as well as other repaired registry issues. He also said that it had removed the software.  In re boot and attempt to re installation, I found myself back at the beginning, except that this time, that the file is that neither in the programs, nor add it delete window.  What I'm doing.

    (The accident seems to have illiminated one of my portable usb drive.  It does not show in the Device Manager.  Just, it's sitting there and a strident sound; "but that is another problem).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  • AOL forced me to update McAfee posing problem Windows

    AOL forced me to update McAfee. During installation, after that the old McAfee has been deleted, the computer locked up not finished installing. AOL restarted and I tried again, but got no further than the McAfee registration page, the next page was empty. Also, the restoration of the system is empty when opened.  I also now have blank Pages of hand on Quickbook now. Could something in the installation process have corrupted Windows? So far, it seems that all other applications are running properly. Can not update Windows XP. When I try it starts to load the updates, then a box comes up saying the updates failed.

    Is this all part of the same problem?

    Thanks for your time.

    This should solve your problem of calendar empty (unless that something is wrong) system restore:

    If your system restore page display only the title bar 'System Restore', or your accounts settings page of users shows that the 'User accounts' title bar and the screen where information needs to be is an empty white box...

    System Restore is a frequent target of attacks by malicious software.  If SR was working before and is now afflicted, run some scans and then fix any problems.

    Remember that the system restore is not a time machine.

    Your system is currently or has been reached by malicious software.

    Just fix the immediate question:

    Looks like your file jscript.dll became somehow not registered so you can re-record it.

    There are probably a few other things that do not work you know yet, so fix them all at once.

    Re-registration of these DLLs is correct, even if they do not need renewal.  You can also re-register the dll before the scans that can solve the problem, but the scans are always recommended.

    Click Start, run, and in the box enter orders following one at a time.  Click the OK button to execute each command one at a time.

    regsvr32 jscript.dll
    regsvr32 vbscript .dll
    regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll (it's a look of slash)

    The last order for mshtml load the DLL but can also contain a harmless warning depending on your environment.

  • Uninstall problems w/HP Officejet 5610 all-in - One Printer

    I have a Dell E510 desktop on which I've recently updated my printer to a printer wireless HP Photsmart 7520. I am running Windows 7 32-bit professional, an Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz CPU with 4 GB (usable 3.24) RAM. The new printer worked for about two weeks, but developed problems. The previous printer, a HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one, began to send me questions, so I removed it, or so I thought. The physical device is out of the system, however, I can not uninstall the software.  I tried to uninstall using the uninstall feature, nothing helps. I tried to use the feature to remove programs from the Control Panel, also to nothing does not. These tasks have been tempted both before and after the physical removal of the device.

    I keep getting error messages about the file being on a network that is not available. When I opened the printers and devices, the HP 5610 printer keeps appearing, no matter how many times I 'remove this device '. I believe that the two software are conflicting with each other. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can remove the printer HP Officejet 5610 to my system?

    Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    John C. Morgan

    Hello jmorgan884,

    I would like to offer a suggestion to uninstall the printer HP Officejet 5610 on your Windows 7 computer. I recently needed to tear a program on my computer and had problems as well, I was finally able to uninstall the software using Microsoft Fixit.

    This application is compatible with your operating system, free and very easy to use. I would like to know if using the Microsoft Fixit allows to remove the software.

    Malwarebytes's Anti-Malware; MSE is an anti-virus.

    They are 2 completely different things.

    These days, you need these two types of emissions; but CERTAINLY, you must have an antivirus installed.

    Windows Defendar is an anti-spyware program.

    And MSE, AVG, McAfee, etc. has conflicts or turns them off Windows Defender.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Use MSE and the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for your security programs...
    And use by default the builtin Vista Firewall; It is very good.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    In my opinion, you have not need of 3rd party firewall, such as Zone Alarm.

    See you soon.

  • HP Officejet 6600, uninstall problem 2081883398

    Hello

    I have a really frustrating problem with my printer HP Officejet 6600. I'm using windows 7, 64 bit.

    All of a sudden the scan function stops working.

    I tried to uninstall the HP Officejet 6600 Basic programs, but when uninstalling this has place of message:

    Error - 2081883398: failed to uninstall the device with serial number: C939DARJIJ05RN.

    If I choose ignore, uninstall the software, but the driver "HP Officejet 6600" are still there, but does not. In addition, this driver are listed in the device 30 Manager - 40 times.  I tried several methods to remove the driver.

    If I ignore this problem to uninstall and reinstall the programs basic HP Officejet 6600, everything is OK until I try to install the wireless printer. The program finds the printer and printers IP address, I mark a press "next". The message "Network Installation missed" takes place. "

    I have installed and uninstalled programs several times, tried to remove the drivers not working not (also in the 7z-cards back), but I have not managed to come around the problem.

    Please - I need help!

    OLHO

    Hi olho.

    This occurs due to malware or other non legitimate software on your PC, please follow the following steps to resolve this problem:

    1. From the control panel > uninstall a program. search for the following keywords:
      Bandoo, IAC, APN, SweetIM, iLivid, Ask Toolbar, SweetIM, Appshat, movies Toolbar and remove any existing result.
    2. Restart your PC and go to the Device Manager, check if these instances can now be uninstalled.
    3. Click the view menu and select Show hidden devices and then continue to search for and remove the printer from the printers / print queues / imaging devices / multifunction adapters / other devices.
    4. type % temp % of the start menu search bar. Open the temp folder, and then open the most recent installation folder that begins with 7z, then open the Utils folder.
      To open the X 86 a 32 bit OS, open the X 64 folder for a 64 bit OS... If you are not sure of your operating system type, follow these steps:
      http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03666764
      Run the RemovePreinstalledDrivers file and allow it to reach 100%
    5. Go 2 folders back to the 7z folder and locate the MSI Setup file:
      Research of * x86.msi or * x 64.msi, depanding on your type of operating system.
    6. Right-click on the largest MSI file out of the 2 resutls, then click on repair. If you get a prompt that it is no longer valid for select software installation instead of repair.
    7. Restart your PC.
    8. Open the Officejet 6600 software and follow these steps to reconfigure the device, check for the difference.

    Please let me know if this is useful,

  • Printer V505 uninstall problems

    I have a Dell printer V505 informs me of what will never run on my Windows 8 XPS 8500 because they will not write a driver for Windows 8.  Unfortunately, I tried to install it until I discovered this.  I bought a printer that works, but when I try to uninstall the V505 I get the message that the printer is in use, and I have to wait until it finishes the print job.  There is no open print job and the printer is not in use. I tried to update Acrobat X for some time and it is always wrong out there with the same error, saying that he could not access network location. Our office has recently installed new Network Attached Storage, and our Win7 profiles are stored there. If things like our office and the My Documents folder located on the NAS.

    Then, when I try to update to Acrobat, it errors out because it can't find \\the-old-NAS\my-username\Favorites.

    So I tried to uninstall. I found out that Acrobat XI has been installed on top of X; It was a silent installer for creative cloud which fell XI on my drive, but I don't think that it works in all. I uninstalled successfully. Now I would like to uninstiall X, but I can't because it errors out on the same problem "I can't access your Favorites, on the old SIN.

    What should I do? I would like to make Acrobat entirely and start over.
