• TDMS of MDF time stamp conversion error / storage date time change

  I fought it for a while, I thought I'd throw it out there...

  Let's say I have a file TDMS which has a channel of labview time stamp and thermocouple 2.

  

  I load in DIADEM, I get this:

  

  Perfect!  But now let's say I want to save the PDM as a MDF file so I can see him in Vector sofa.  I right click and save as MDF, perfect.  I started couch and get this:

  

  The year 2121, yes I take data on a star boat!  It seems to be taking the stamp of date/time storage TDMS as starting point and adding the TC_Timestamp channel.

  If I change the channel of TC_Timestamp to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc... and save as MDF, I get this:

  

  Very close, 2012!   But what I really want is what to show of the time, it was recorded what would be the 10/09/2012.

  The problem is whenever I do like recording, date storage time is updated right now, then the MDF plugin seems to use it as a starting point.

  is it possible to stop this update in TIARA?

  Hi Ben,

  You got it right that the MDF use written the time of storage to start MDF that is updated by DIAdem when writing time. We are working on this and will return to you, if there is no progress.

  To work around the problem, you can try convert TDMS MDF in LabVIEW storage vis.

  Something like the following, you can write your start time of measurement to the MDF file.

  I use 12.0.0f4911 tiara TDM and I cannopt seem open to this individual. MDF file.  The error I get is "XXXXXX. MDF file' has an invalid format.  (error no. 11)

  I opened another. Files MDF without however making that particular file is almost 3 gigs in size.  Is it possible the size of the file it is too big?

  I have a sofa v7.0 vector data acquisition system that generates files in MDF format.  I found the Diadem data plugin for MDF files and installed.  I can open the files, I see the names of parameters, but all data is 0 (and do not).

  The plugin is updated and the description mentions MDF version 3.0 & 3.2.  We have couch version 7.0.  How do these numbers match?  How to correctly open this file?

  This use is supported for playback / import of files MDF Bosch of ETAS INCA® MDF and Vector sofa® data and other products of the vector. The use is supported by the MDF files up to version 3.2. Use MDF also supports the writing of MDF 3.0 and 3.2 files. Writing behavior is controlled by the root "version" property set the version of "MDF 3.2" to write files MDF 3.2.

  The measurement data Format (MDF) is well established in the automotive industry for recording, Exchange and analysis after measurement. MDF files are produced for example. Inca® ETAS, then in sofa® and other products of the vector.

  Further examination of the file that worked and the files that don't work not revealed that the latest settings that we use is no longer.  Once we have removed these settings, I can open all the files, if we believe that it is the question.

  When accessing an .mdf file, I get this: MyFileName.mdf is not a primary database file. This means that the file is corrupted?

  Please help fix this file. I learned a few manual things to fix the SQL database, but I'm not aware of it.

• Northwind, MDF database SQL 2012...

  I am completely frustrated and spent more than a day on this problem (to feel like a real dummy). I downloaded Visual Studio RC 2012.  I'm trying to follow tutorials lightswitch and at the point of connectivity, he asks the database to Northwind. A nightmare begins!  First of all, no Northwind database comes with VS.  I can understand that.  Thanks a lot of research, I am able to download a 2008 version of Northwind, but only with the support of files (Northwind and Pubs) scripts to create.  I am able to create a file mdf NW.  In LightSwitch, I try the procedure of data connection.  It is said that this file is not supported with the new format of 2012, etc.  I tried to find a later version of NW, but nothing.  I tried downloading SQL Express 2012 and it does not install NW.mdf either. WOW!  All versions of SQL downloads provided this database as a "no brainer", but it seems impossible to get a database of SQL NW 2012 now.  Help please.  Even a zipped version would be too great and Pubs.  Thanks for any help.  I did not the maximum but running of research.

  The name of your Menu has a space in it.  This is not allowed.  Try this MDF file.

  I have ignornatly tried to open a file .mdf to SQL Server by using Access 2010. I missed the little box that says use always! How to restore the association .mdf to its original as well as the appropriate icon? Thanks for any help.

  I had Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 already installed. I just installed the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express 2005 and tried to open my mdf file. I get an error message that says:

  There is no editor available for ' C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\intran et\app_dat a\intranet .mdf).

  Make sure the application for the type of file (.mdf) is installed.

  I did something wrong? I just clicked through the default values in the Management Studio Express installation.

  How can I get it work?

  2. Navigate to the database that you want to restore.
  3. Right click > tasks > restore > database.
  4. Once on the general tab select "from device" for the source of food, and then access the .bak file that you are restoring.
  5. Check that the Destination for restore is set to the correct database.
  6. Select the Options tab.
  7. Check "Overwrite existing of database (to be REPLACED)"
  8. Click OK

  the .ldf will contain the log files. If you have a corupt file, then you would be better to just create a new instance of the DB, change your ODBC settings and do a reinstall of the vCenter

  Windows drivers and Agent print drivers are mutually exclusive.  In the design tool, under objective presentation select "Use print agent presentment target" and then select "clear all".  Then go back and select the windows drivers.

  Install antivirus software. For example, ClamWin is free, and there is a free version of AVG. Download the latest antivirus software definitions.

  Scan the MDF files. The virus usually corrupt the MDF file. So, I would not try to restore an infected file on the server, even after it has been cleaned. There are tools available to check the integrity of files MDF and even to repair. Search the Web.

  There are two things you should not do. Do a virus scan on a file to a running instance of MS SQL MDF, or configure your anti-virus program's automatic protection function to include the files of MS SQL MDF.  This is because the program antivirus and MS SQL can compete for the lock on these files.   I'm under custom reports of FDM and join on the table of tDimUD2 to pull in the description of the Member, but note that the table is not updated.  Is there another table that I use or y at - it a way to refresh these dimension tables?  I'm on 11.1.2.3.500

  I found the solution in another forum.  All I had to do was executed the script HFM_LoadDimTables in FDM just in case someone else needs to know.

  What's the matter, you still see the old image? If so your images can be cached. Clear the cache and temp objects in your browser and try again.
