meet the demand of the system will not play audio through the modem to the phone line.

I use Callstation 5.1 I replaced the old legacy driven by a new modem. need a work around short of reinstalling XP

Hello

·        What do you do? Reinstall Windows XP?

I suggest to update the drivers for the modem and check if the problem is resolved. I suggest you to contact the modem manufacturer for assistance.

Apart from that, I suggest you to install the softwareCallstation 5.1 on the manufacturer's Web site and see if the problem is resolved. I would say to check the configuration of the modem.

Thanks and regards.

    Hi Giaour,

Which version of QuickTime is installed on your computer?

Apple Computer developed the QuickTime file format to create, edit, publish, and view multimedia files. QuickTime format can contain video, animation, graphics, 3D and virtual reality (VR) content. Only QuickTime files version 2.0 or earlier can be played in Windows Media Player. Later versions of QuickTime require the Apple QuickTime Player owner. For more information, visit the following Apple Web site:

  • iPhone 7 will not play audio via the USB port on the car.

When I plug my iPhone USB port 7 more in my car (15 Jeep Grand Cherokee), the artist/song/podcast information appears on the screen, but the sound plays through the speakers of the phone.  I have confirmed that my settings are all the same as they were on my 6s, who played without any problems via the USB connection.  Bluetooth streaming works fine - no problems at all.  Any ideas, or is this a problem similar to that people have with CarPlay?

Welcome to Apple Support communities, kevo.mac!

Congratulations on your new iPhone 7 more! I see that you connect with your Jeep Grand Cherokee using the USB port. Everything seems to work fine, except that the music plays through the phone instead. I'll be happy to help you to get this working.

  • Will not, play audio or video

9.2.0 (41) first Pro CC is no longer will play video or audio in the line of time or the trace source. Hit the SPACEBAR, J K L, or by clicking on the Play-Stop-Toggle make no difference. The blue bar does not move along the time line and nothing plays. The Play-Stop-Toggle varies from a triangle instead - but that's all. It also does not matter if I create a new project or the sequence or open an existing one. Export Media still works OK and the exported media play OK.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Premier Pro.

I tried to roll back to a restore point Windows - that worked once, but not the second time or subsequent.

As a matter of interest, hearing CC and after effects CC properly.

I'm on Windows 10 on an Intel Core i7 - 3930K 3.20 GHz with 16 GB of RAM. I did the changes on the hardware more than a year.

While I had problems with leaking memory with earlier versions of the Premier Pro I have not experienced this refusal to issue before playing. The problem happened without apparent reason, about two weeks ago. First Pro was working fine before this.

    I would welcome suggestions.

The problem has been fixed with the help of Adobe support online chat.

    The measures taken were:

    Close the Premier Pro.

Rename the file C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premier Pro to something else e.g. first former Pro

Rename the file C:\Users\xxxPro \Documents\Adobe\Premiere to something else e.g. first former Pro

Open Pro Prime Minister and he must create new versions of the two files above.

I have some videos from my laptop that I saved on my desktop Mac. They had audio on the laptop but now I noticed there is no option for sound on the Mac, but the videos play without a hitch. Now this is not a huge problem except that my laptop recently crashed and I can no longer log in and access my files. Then these videos are, roughly speaking, no longer needed. Is there any application or any situation to extract audio lost for my videos?

  • Window Movie Maker will import my .mpg file, but will not play audio.

I used Windows Movie Maker 2.6, Vista and Live for many years and I've always been able to convert my files to .wmv with ease. My old computer recently crashed and I reinstalled the program and codec I had on my new machine.

A week ago, I was import and conversion of some files to .mpg without problem what-so-ever, but when I import my .mpg files now, I receive one of the following scenarios:
    (1) ".mpg is an empty file." (2.6)
    (2) the video works fine, but there is no audio data. Yet, if I play in Windows Media Player or any other program, I get the audio without problem. (Vista and Live)
    (3) I also run Magix Movie Edit Pro 15, but when it exports to .wmv, the video is distorted / restless (even with the anti-flicker filter on).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled my codecs several times, went to the compatibility of the Menus and tried to post the video to see if the audio could have a defect in playback of the program, but without success.

  • Audio of the video will not play on Mobile (unless there are headphones)

    Hi all

I had a customer bring a problem I've never seen before me. They have a video that will not play audio on all mobile devices unless earphones are connected. Digging around, it seems that the problem comes from the original item, but I still wonder why audio will not play and if there is anything I can do (any codec I use) which will fix the problem. I played around using the options both AAC or MPEG, mono/stereo, played with sampling frequency and bitrate but nothing seems to have no effect on her.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you!

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

Try to burn a CD. The system will not recognize the blank disc or let me burn... says there is no disc inserted

    Hello

Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc? Restart the 1st and then try it.

    If no joy:

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    Hope these helps.

    Hello SteveO_1968,

To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
    2. Press a key when you are prompted.
    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
    4. Click repair your computer.
    5. Click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    6. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.
    7. Type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

Note To start the computer from the Windows Vista DVD, the computer must be configured to start from the DVD drive. For more information on the configuration of the computer to start from the DVD drive, see the documentation provided with your computer or contact the computer manufacturer.

    Bootrec.exe options

The Bootrec.exe tool supports the following options. Use the option that suits your situation.

Note If rebuilding the BCD does not resolve the startup problem, you can export and delete the BCD, and then run this option again. In doing so, you ensure that the BCD is completely rebuilt. To do this, type the following commands at the command prompt Windows RE:

    • bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup
    • c:
    • Boot CD
    • BCD attrib s h - r
    • Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old
    • Bootrec /RebuildBcd

    / FixMbr

The /FixMbr option writes a MBR compatible Windows Vista on the system partition. This option does not overwrite the existing partition table. Use this option when you need to solve problems of corruption of MBR, or when you need to remove the non-standard code from the MBR.

    / FixBoot

The /FixBoot option writes a new boot sector on the system partition by using a boot sector that is compatible with Windows Vista. Use this option if one of the following conditions is met:

    • The boot sector has been replaced by a non-standard Windows Vista boot sector.
    • The boot sector is damaged.
    • An earlier Windows operating system has been installed after the installation of Windows Vista. In this scenario, the computer starts by using Windows NT Loader (NTLDR) instead of Windows Boot Manager (Bootmgr.exe).

    / ScanOs

The /ScanOs option scans all disks for installations that are compatible with Windows Vista. In addition, this option displays the entries that are currently not in the BCD store. Use this option when there are installations of Windows Vista which is not in the Boot Manager menu.

    / RebuildBcd

The /RebuildBcd option scans all disks for installations that are compatible with Windows Vista. In addition, this option allows you to select the facilities you want to add to the BCD store. Use this option when you need to completely rebuild the BCD.

  • Media Player will not play mp4 or mpeg1 files. When I try the system crashes and it goes to the blue screen of death

I'm running a quad core with 8 GB of windows 7 with office 2013 RAM.  All are clean installs.  When I try to play a video file on Media player my system breaks down and made a memory dump.  This also happens when I try and put a video in PowerPoint.  I am able to play these videos on QuickTime on the same machine.  The videos play fine on another machine of Windows 7 office 2013.  We use this system for presentations churches.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

    1. Do you have an error message when you play this video?
    2. What Media Player do you use?
    3. Did you recent hardware or changes to the software to the computer before the show?

I suggest using Windows Media Player, then try the following steps. This problem may occur because of codecs. A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.
