  CIVIA want to have all the privileges that has APPS? You can query dba_tab_privs (and oither views in the data dictionary) to find (and write statements of "GRANT... ("for) all these privileges.

  You can also create another packet (let's call it FND_GLOBAL_I) in applications with rights of the author. Specification of package would be identical to the specification of FND_GLOBAL package, except that it says FMD_GLOBAL_I instead of FND_GLOBAL. The FND_GLOBAL_I package body are very similar to the spec. The body of each procedure or function would simply be a call to the corresponding functuion in FND_GLOBAL. Since FND_GLOBAL has hundreds of procedures, it will be a lot of work, but perhaps less work than to find exactly what privileges are needed.

  Let's start by clearing up some confusion.

  PORTS
  --------------
  Version 11.1.1.x here are how the common ports are defined by default:

  1 HTTP Server - 8888
  2 WLS_FORMS - 9001
  3 WLS_REPORTS - 9002
  4 WLS Admin Server - 7001

  So, if you understand how ports work in general, you should see that there are two ways to run a form. You can go through the HTTP server or directly call the WLS_FORMS. This means that both of the following might work, although one would be a direct path and the other is route the request through the HTTP server:

• http://ie1fdtfc5zl1s:9001/forms/frmservlet? config = frmdemo
  
• http://ie1fdtfc5zl1s:8888/forms/frmservlet? config = frmdemo

  Port 7001, will always be the port of the default server for the classic domain administrator. By default, the only thing that you can do from here is EM or WLS Console access.

  As for the question of the AMT, by default, the generator and the runtime will wait to find tnsnames.ora in hospitality \config Instance so be sure you add the correct entries to the correct file.

  You can hardcode a path to the file you want to use by setting TNS_ADMIN in default.env (e.g. TNS_ADMIN = C:\Oracle\mytnsdirectory). This will only apply to execution of forms and not the manufacturer.

  Also, here is something that is often a source of confusion for many people... just because you started your form in the constructor does not mean that the form running has nothing to do with the manufacturer at this time. In other words, when you click RunForm button in the constructor all that you do is pass a url in a browser. The browser and the form do not use the constructor parameters except that can be passed in the URL (e.g. name of user and password). Running of all forms are considered to be 'runtime '. This means that all information environment to an active form configuration must be defined in default.env. The manufacturer, on the other hand will be based on the system variable, the Windows registry (or shell if under Unix).

  For the facts so far.

  Now, my experience with it:

  Whenever I click on the 'New' or 'Delete' button, it first calls the partial relaxation and then perform the action assigned to the button I clicked. I thought this because of the following behaviour:

  1. I load the page

  2. I click on the 'New' button - nothing happens

  3. I click on the button "New" once again - a single line appears

  4. I click on the button 'Delete' - nothing happens, still a line it

  5. I click on delete - disappearance of the line

  In order to engage without an error in database fields, that I need:

  1. load the page

  2. click on the button "new".

  3. click again on the button "new".

  4. click on the button Delete

  5. fill the new line

  6 validation

  What I tried:

  1. triggers, of course, I thought that business components and links stuff would be here to refresh everything about an action.

  2. I also tried in the PageDef not caching the results of the underlying iterator from the table. However, this only leads to an exception during step 3 of my 'to be able to commit without a basic error of data fields that I".

  You should always use CreateInsert operation declaratively add new line to af:table.

  "createInsert" has a problem: he inserts. I know almost no case (at least in a well-designed database location) when possible, insert without data. As it is in my case, so createInsert will not work, I get an exception from the database during insertion.

  It will insert line collection in British Colombia ADF, not in the db table.

  Framework will display data from db only when you call commit operation (or if you call transaction.postChanges ()) programmatically.

  Thus, the workflow must be:

  -Invoke CreateInsert

  -Fill in all the mandatory attributes for this ViewObject

  -Don't commit / rollback

  Thanks for that bring to our attention. The question doesn't seem to be specific to the creation of blank pages. I connected the bug 16729276 to follow up on this matter. In the meantime, the workaround, which I'm sure you already did, is to edit the page and update tab to make reference to the new blank page ID.

• DataGrid does not update when you use the tabs

  I have a panel with a TabNavigator with two legs (VBoxes). Each VBox contains a DataGrid control. I update the dataprovider of two DataGrids using a table for each in ActionScript, but only the data of the selected tab (default index 0) grid is updated, and the second tab DataGrid generates an error (TypeError: Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference) and is not up-to-date. Any help would be appreciated. Code attached.

  Set the creationPolicy = "all" because the children of the other tab cannot exist until they are displayed initially.

  creationPolicy = "all" might affect performance, and if so, you can initialize the other children of the tab, perhaps in the events to initialize or creationComplete TabNavigator.

  I think that your case is equivalent to "loading lazy trees."  There are examples

  around the internet.  I think you need to use a custom ITreeDataDescriptor

  which returns true for hasChildren.

• Error 80072EFE when you run Windows Update on Win7 so wireless

  You try to run Windows update on a new laptop from Toshiba with Windows 7 installed and a good wireless connection to a router I get error 80072EFE rather than a list of updates. If I connect directly to the router the updated list comes through fine. I can then unplug the router and download updates more wireless.

  Initially I was running tried to reinstall as 32-bit, 64-bit Win7, but made no difference. Tried to update after I just installed Win7 before Norton and other applications on. Contacted Belkin and they gave me a checklist of the router to do, but not better. Someone at - it ideas? The problem is reproducible even with Norton and other installed applications. If you connect the router updates Windows detects the updates to install. If you work with wireless it gets error 80072EFE.

  Until you get your wireless connection problems straightened, run your manually check updates when you are connected to the router.

  Here's my situation, I wiped recently my installation of Win XP Pro x 86 original seven ' 07, now running in the title error when you run windows update after reinstalling.

  Hello, I'm sorry for the confusion caused with my previous post. The error I got is 'windows can not find the new updates' when you click check updates. It displays a notification to install the new updates on the desktop and displays the 80072EFD error code. Please help me to get this resolved. Its 32-bit windows 7.
