  I am running Microsoft windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I installed all the new drivers on the support site.

  I'm running OS X 10.11.2 (later) on a brand new Mac Mini. My user inputs include a new magic trackpad, an extended wired USB Apple keyboard and a Yiynova 19 "monitor shelf. I have also connected LG DVD player and a Dell monitor.

  For morning several courses, then an attempt to wake my Mac, all user entries are disabled. By turning the trackpad and turn it back on don't reconnect the bluetooth trackpad.   In fact, I tried resetting the SMC as well, and that did nothing.

  However, a few days earlier, the last update of Mac OS came thru, and since the update, the problem seems to have cleared up. I noticed that one of the things that precisely fixed update was a bug where 4K displays would bring the Mac not to wake up. While I don't think that one of my monitors qualifies as a 4 K screen, its possible that I was touched by the same bug. Who know.

  I use Win7 Pro SP1 and whenever I come back to my office after finishing a session desktop connection to my computer remotely, I noticed several of the icons in the all programs from the Start Menu section changed to default page icons. If I try to open any programs that are pinned to the start itself, it will indicate that the program cannot be found. Notepad and Calculator in particular to keep more victims of this problem.

  I also noticed that the audio controller is disabled until I restart.

  I found a batch file that will rebuild the icon cache, but this very annoying to have to keep doing it because I have to remote into my computer almost every morning for the daily scrum meetings we hold in a conference room.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer.   I just brought a few ProDesk 600 MT after that the installation operating system, one of them seems locked all the usb port after the boot of win7.

  Can I use keyboard and mouse during startup, including the bios or windows safe mode selection menu. However, once started to win7, all usb port are disabled, not even power supply. Which means no keyboard, no mouse. I can't do anything else until the eve of the computer by push and hold button / stop.

  Anyone know why and how to solve this problem?
