  Recently, I'm stuck with these issues:

  1. not able to access 'Change PC settings' - when I click on it nothing happens.

  2 start menu/Store does not work - I am using the profile of the user admin Start Menu is a blank blue screen with just the user name appears at the top right. Store is completely scratched too.

  

  While the guest user has all the tiles in Start menu/store.

  3. cannot create a user profile - I wanted to try to create a new user profile and check if the store is working properly. When I click on 'Add a new user in the laptop settings' nothing happens.

  I tried the system restore, but it does not solve all of the above. Is there any solution to these problems without having to reinstall Win 8? I don't have the installation discs.

  You can use the restore or refresh options without going in the settings of the PC.  Read the instructions carefully, it says:

  If you can't identify, or use laptop settings app, you can access these rather safe mode options. On the login screen, click on the power icon, and then hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard while you click on restart. Now keep update until the next screen appears.

  2. is the application works normally aside from the direct tiling?

  3. is the active live tile?

  4 live tiles to other apps work?

  It is possible that an extension acceleration or hardware is the cause.
  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click on the menu button , click Help , and then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. • test site downloaded BusinessCatalyst but the button MAIN menu does not work. automatic horizontal menu.

  I have downloaded a trial to the catalyst biz for customer site view and everything works fine except that I can't go back to the home page.

  The image of the sea star is on the top of the menu, is why it seems that the HOME menu item does not work. In the layers panel, reorder the items so that the menu is above the image of the starfish.

  Try the following.

  Click with the right button on the Start Menu and select (Admin) command prompt and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

  In the command prompt window, type powershell and press to enter.

  Copy the following text and paste it into the command prompt, and then press ENTER.

  Get-AppXPackage - AllUsers | Foreach {add-AppxPackage-DisableDevelopmentMode-register "$($_.) {"InstallLocation) \AppXManifest.xml"}

  When it finished, type exit, press ENTER, and then type exit and press enter once more.

  Reboot the laptop.

  I am running Vista Home Premium.  When I install the important updates 25 current, the Windows Start menu will not work.  I use McAfee security updates have to do with security, so I guess there is some kind of conflict, however, I run the exact same system and security on my laptop and it has no os of problems of this nature.  Is it possible that I can solve this problem and install important security updates?

• Anyone know why my "Mode" in the main menu does not work?

  Here's a video of what I'm talking about.  I built the file in RGB mode, now when I open it to make changes, the PS won't let me even change color modes.  I tried to restart, I tried to select specific layers, and it does not work.  Maybe it's the size of the file (211 MB?).  I tried opening JPEG files and works of fashion color, but not for this file... maybe corruption?  Here is a video I made.

• Adobe AE CS4 Help Menu does not work

  AE help, Scripting, refers, predefined animations, the keyboard shortcuts are not working in the Help menu. Registration, deactivation etc are functional. This AE's with Production Premium CS4 on Windows Vista. This is a problem since the initial installation. He remained a problem on the relocation of a year and a half later.   I solved the problem in CS4 by uninstalling and reinstalling AE. Obviously when I installed on drive it installed everything. EI, I was part of a suite (PP) and I reinstalled probably all.
