  In manual mode, you will need to create for the pages of the subsites menu items and then link them. Pages of the subsites with menu sub elements can be used with all the attributes of pages.

• Constant on resizing text wrapping

  Hi, I have a little problem with dressing: I import an image of the bridge and apply a Style of object (enveloping encompassing, 25 offset points) and I want the Offset is constant even when I resize the image. But when I resize the image, the change of shift. With small size reduction of compensation and resizing the offset increase more and more. How can I resize the image, keeping the same distance between the box and the text around it? Thanks for the help, Leo

  Open preferences. On the general tab, select "during the measurement: apply to the content. Now when you resize the images, the text wrap offset remains the same.

  For the images that you've already resized: select them, and then in the menu drop-down Panel, select "redefine the 100% scaling.

• Text wrapping fail, nested XF4 Ext. div

  DW CS6 treats the XF4 menu extension div even as no matter what another div? I can't seen to get the text to wrap correctly as with a nested div inserted the first fluid grid design and text wraps usually good for me on nested divs. In addition, new CS6 car for me, coming from CS4.

  Thanks for the reply is simple; I figured well that no update important 4 years according to a schedule. And well, I will order from PVII, a decision based on your suggestion.

  Now, some research, a little more deeper into the menus spry in DW CS6. Seems to be, so far, that many people do not feel that spry menus are a good way to go, but happy people not likely to post as do those who find gaps in a product or a process.

  Hi all

  I recently got my new Bold 9780 and did not restore from previous BB, I tucked everything manually. Front on my 9700 when I received a MMS it would appear under my menu text as an MMS. Now, on the 9780 with OS 6, when I receive a MMS - photo, text, photo, etc., it is in my email [email protected]. I even tried to send to friends who put them on the same network as me as a MMS, but if I send MMS even to me it comes as an email. My provider (TELUS) supports MMS for this phone, but it doesn't seem to work as an MMS.

  No matter what I try it will not come as a MMS, but rather e-mail [email protected] that said "You have received a Message from a Telus phone" and when I open it the image is there as my phone does not allow as an MMS.

  I wiped and reinstalled the software, deleted and resent service books and passed through the application loader to ensure that I have the most recent Basic programs.

  Has anyone ever seen cela or have any idea of what I can try to remedy this? Im going nuts.

  I managed to solve the problem by getting my carrier to replace the SIM card. Oddly enough, it worked.

• Text wrapping has suddenly stopped working

  Suddenly in my documents, skin does not work. I can select the choice, but nothing happens. I went in the objects menu and Options of text block is also gray. I don't know what happened, why, suddenly, this function works. I also tried to create a new document and tested, with no result. I left and revived ID. also.

  Any ideas are appreciated.

  Menu object > text frame Options is available only if you have selected text block. Check that.

  Go to window > text wrapping and select the image. Take a screenshot of the image frame and the text block and also the Panel text wrapping. Post, so we can see what are your settings and why it does not work.

  If it's all the documents, you may need to reset your preferences.

• Image and text wrap in Muse?

  A small question.  In Adobe InDesign, I don't remember the exact function, but you can put a photo and text on page am and then enter the text to wrap around the picture so housing starts of text on the right then shifts to the left.

  I tried to play with the align attribute in Muse in the hope that he would do the same thing, but until now I can't understand it.  Is it possible to take an image and a text box and the text "wrap" around the image?

  Copy the picture and paste as text in the textframe. Whith this done, you can use the Layout Panel to adjust the settings.

• Image text wrapping negatively affects the balanced paragraphs - need help

  I have CS5 - 5.  I'm no expert, but I am using the program for a number of years in the design of flyers, brochures, posters and short brochures. Now I'm on my first magazine and I thought that all the features balanced new paragraph would work a breeze - it didn't! So, I have a page of A4 size with a block of text in two columns that fills (have also the text flows on the next page if it's relevant). The text is 10pt with a line spacing of 12 pt. Everything is good so far. I used paragraphs balanced in a first time to have the two columns of text aligning horizontally. Seemed fine. However, as soon as I drop an image into the mix, the width of a column (lower left corner of the page), simple text wrapping, text changed less satisfactorily. Text above won't come down to meet the upper part of the image, no matter what I put in measures to wrap text or what kind of film I use. Also the text to the right of the image is more down to the bottom of the text block. The problem is further compounded when I integrate a quote as a separate object.

  Then I disabled the balanced paragraphs feature and used a grid of base line instead, taking up many of the suggestionson another discussion and also using advice elsewhere on the net. Useful in a sense that it helped me to learn more about what baseline grid but I am still with my problem.

  I could be wrong, but I don't think that I ask the program to do anything complicated. It's not as if the text should wrap around the object. I know that I could get the effect I want to using single column text blocks and get text to flow from one to the other, but it is certainly not how it should be? If you like I can send screenshots, but I'm not sure it would help. I write this in the morning in England so I know that many of you will still be sleeping. However, once you have had your first cup of coffee of the day, maybe you could give me a little help? Needless to say that any advice that anyone could offer would be warmly accepted.

  If I had to guess, by looking at your screenshots, I would say that you have a possibility to keep in your style on the last two lines of the paragraphs together and that there is not enough space to the bottoom of the image for more than two lines, but you do not have we shown the contours of the block.

• Specific or text wrapping "discriminant"?

  I'm working on a project and I type within a circle.  I used the reverse word wrap tool to have the text inside the suite of the circle, the outline of the circle.  Now I want also any text that is on the outside of the circle to wrap around him.  Is this possible?

  Here is what I tried:

  With the help of two circles of different sizes, but of the same color (to give the impression that it is a circle) and applying the word reverse wrap to the circle with the text inside and by applying a text traditional wrap to another circle assign the text on the outside.  When I do however, the outside envelope text as I want, but the text inside disappears!  When I called the text block inside the circle to ignore the text wraps, it ignores all, so it reappears, but is not in conformity with the outline of the circle how I would want only it.

  Guess my next question would be, is I possible to designate a block of text to ignore a rule to wrap text, but follow another?

  I know this can be confusing, so feel free to ask questions.  I can even provide my files if necessary.

  Maybe this works if you group the first circle more text.

  In any case, it's a quickie: all it takes is to paste the text inside the circle, add a space framed and apply a regular text wrapping to the circle itself.

  

• Text jumping around in the text box. Unrelated to the text wrapping.

  We are experiencing a problem with a part of the text jumping around in the text block, as we make changes to the text. It is not related to the text wrapping.

  We had not seen this problem until we have converted from CS4 to CS5.5.

  The background:

  We use a system of generation of page owners. This operation generates IDML, which we will open in InDesign. We then pull this information in our models of CS5. This system has always worked well in the past. Now, however, we have this weird problem. The only thing that has changed is the version of InDesign.

  What's happening:

  In some cases edit us a Word, change the punctuation signs, move something in a table or even simply by changing the color of a letter. When it is triggered, the text of the body of the text block jumps around in the area (often above title information). Normally the movement is on the rise, but makes greater very delicate changes as the lines are on the move in the text block.

  What we are doing when this happens:

  Usually, if we find a safe place in the text to type a return we do that, delete this return. This action solves the problem, but only temporarily. If the file is opened and closed, it goes back to jump.

  Why is this a big problem for us:

  We are working on catalogs, some with more than 400 pages. There are a large number of items. Much of the time that we need to make global changes with GREP and find/replace replace. This often causes situations where the text jump and you don't notice. There are even times when we are bypassing our files (right before moving on to the printer). This makes us very nervous.

  Does anyone have knowledge that may be able to help?

  I just had exactly the same problem. I experimented with Options of text block and found a possible sollution: under 'Baseline Options' tick 'Use Custom base Grid' (see attached capture screen). In my case the text stopped jumping and I hope it helps someone out there also.

  

• Problem skin: text wrapping where there is no object

  In a document, I made different Masterpages. One of the masterpages (A) has an image on the left side in a text column. The text wraps this image.

  Another master page based on this A masterpage, but with Ctrl + Shift + click, I removed the image - as this picture is necessary on the title page.

  But now, although there is no object/image more, the canned text wraps around the non-existent object.

  There is also no objects hidden in a deeper layer and such.

  The only way to solve this problem for me now is to check "Ignore text dresses" under block of text (Ctlr + B) Options

  But it's not the solution, since there are a few other photos in the text that need wrapping.

  How can I solve this?

  Why is my text wrapping around something that no longer exists.

  My family is Dutch, too, but we have been to the United States for 4 or 5 generations, so I don't speak or read the language. But I don't know how to change the break. Select history and affect the language correct or better still, make sure that the correct language is defined in your paragraph styles. It will be in the section advanced formats to characters in the style definition, or if you set it locally, it's a character level attribute, then you will find it in the character Panel or control panel in character mode control.

  A text comes quite often in my mail and I have to scroll to see all of its width. Is there a way to make the text wrap so that it can be displayed without scrolling.

• On Boolean text wrapping buttons on front panel

  I have an example that shows the actually text wrapping a Boolean button on a façade.  How do you get the text to be sent back?  I'm trying to shriink the width of the box to force it to wrap, but it snaps right back.  Even, I went the properties and tried to change the width, and it still appears return to contain the text on a single line.

  If you mean something like https://css-tricks.com/wp-content/csstricks-uploads/web-text-wrap.png, then no. - not currently.  Could you add a suggestion to our UserVoice feedback page?

  To work around the problem, you can fake using two text boxes and manually paste in the text from rest of one into the other.  But it's certainly less than ideal if you need to do it often.

• Menu text does not show up with the new update

  When you use the new reactive update in Adobe Muse, the Menu text is not displayed when the image previewed in the browser. It appears on all pages when publishing in Muse.

  Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

  Select menu and confirm that it is not browser pinned to the bottom of the browser window or define a footer element (which would cause it to move down in the white area). You can also temporarily replace the filling of the page to help you determine where the text is moving to.
