  I have an example that shows the actually text wrapping a Boolean button on a façade.  How do you get the text to be sent back?  I'm trying to shriink the width of the box to force it to wrap, but it snaps right back.  Even, I went the properties and tried to change the width, and it still appears return to contain the text on a single line.

  If you mean something like https://css-tricks.com/wp-content/csstricks-uploads/web-text-wrap.png, then no. - not currently.  Could you add a suggestion to our UserVoice feedback page?

  To work around the problem, you can fake using two text boxes and manually paste in the text from rest of one into the other.  But it's certainly less than ideal if you need to do it often.

• Text wrapping has suddenly stopped working

  Suddenly in my documents, skin does not work. I can select the choice, but nothing happens. I went in the objects menu and Options of text block is also gray. I don't know what happened, why, suddenly, this function works. I also tried to create a new document and tested, with no result. I left and revived ID. also.

  Menu object > text frame Options is available only if you have selected text block. Check that.

  Go to window > text wrapping and select the image. Take a screenshot of the image frame and the text block and also the Panel text wrapping. Post, so we can see what are your settings and why it does not work.

  If it's all the documents, you may need to reset your preferences.

  Click on the image and go to window > text wrapping to open the skin palette. If something other than the article that I circled is selected, pass the circled point. This is the setting where no dressing is applied to the image. If this does not work, check if there is another object that is in contact with the text block. Maybe it's something that's behind the image, or perhaps on another layer.

  For anchored objects, text wrapping works a little differently, and the behavior depends on the type of anchor.   I have a text wrap the problem. I created an Alpha channel in Photoshop on a pic and placed in Indesign and wrapped text. Problem is that the text wrapping is quite different from the Alpha channel created. It's never happened before and I use it all the time. Ideas?

  Yes, I see the same even at 300 ppi. If I load the selection of the alpha in Photoshop and save it as a path then it works:

  When you group multiple images with a single column of text in a scrolling text block, the functionality of text wrapping (was applied also to all the picture frames) only works for the first image. For all of the following images, the text wrapping is ignored. Ideas for a solution?

  Anchor online images for the text to wrap to work, is not not ideal.

  but there are enough options to make it work. That it was always a little weird

  I use InDesign CS6. I am trying to wrap text around a circular picture with a 17-point run box (stroke is aligned in the Center). The text is 70 points and flush left; the circle is on the left with the text box on the right. But when I select the cirlce and the text box, then turn on text wrapping, nothing happens. Fields in the skin Panel that allow you to change the space between the object and the text are all grayed out so I can't change them to 0. I checked the text properties of the area and have confirmed that 'Ignore skin' is not checked.

  I just tried to create an empty circle with no stroke above the circle I'm trying to wrap my text around, added text wrap to the new circle, and it worked fine.

  So I checked preferences, and it turns out "skin affects only the text under ' has been checked for some reason any.

  For some reason, a text wrapping will not work. I placed the object above the text. but whenever I try to create I just get this outline look odd around the text (see image below). Thanks much for any help!

  

  Your objects are grouped. This should not be the case with the text. You must also remove the wrapping of the text itself (the lines around the text is the scarf).

  Apply it only to the circle.
