• Message from the Web page: "Scanstyles does nothing in Webkit/Firefox". I get this popup when I'm in my site of the Financial Institution.

  This popup occurs whenever I select an account in the Web page to view its details. Once I click OK it disappears, but appears again when when I select another account for display. It is not a barrier to the operation but rather boring.

  I guess that site does not support the basis of Webkit and Gecko according to browsers.

  WebKit - Chrome, Safari, etc of Midori.
  Gecko - Pale Moon, Firefox etc.

  Have you tried on IE (Trident based).

  If you use Internet Explorer, please follow the methods.

  Method 1:

  Use the Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) mode

  To do this, click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, point to System Toolsand then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

  If this resolves the problem, follow these steps to isolate the browser add-on that is causing the problem:

  1. click on Tools, then Internet Options.

  2. click the tab programs , and then click Manage Add-ons.

  3. click an add-on in the list name and then click disable.

  4. Repeat step 3 until you identify the add-on that is causing the problem.

  I have Windows XP and uninstalled and reinstalled the new software for the all-in-one HP Photosmart 3310, but evrytime I click scan, the scan menu comes up with 3 options, but being the 1. Select the computer the only clickable option. When I click on select a computer, it gives me the error message "no Scan option. Refer to device documentation to troubleshoot. "I had this problem before with my J3680 but solved the problem by reinstalling the software.

  If the t\s has been completed restore printing to its default settings, remove the cartridges from the printer.

  Steps to follow:

  • Start button / stop + Combo Cancel button
  • Enter the combination of special keys 1 [Scan] 3 [color copy] 2 [Black copy]
  • "Support menu" will be displayed
  • Press 2 [Black copy] until the display shows "Reset Menu".
  • Press the 3 [color copy]
  • Press 2 [Black copy] until the display shows "semi-Full reset".
  • Press the 3 [color copy]
  • The printer shuts off and turn on by itself, else wait for 20 seconds and power on the printer

  Note:

  All user settings will be restored.

  Since you have an HP computer, I would say that you uninstall to level 3.

  Level 4 uninstalling will remove all traces of the HP software, which can eliminate more than you want to, especially if you have an HP computer. I suggest you do a level 3 uninstall as follows: load your driver CD and navigate to the directory util\CCC on the CD. There will be a series of commands, uninstall_L1.bat by uninstall_L4.bat files. I suggest that you run uninstall_L1.bat, then uninstall_L2.bat, then uninstall_L3.bat.

  I suggest that you do not run the uninstall_L4.bat file.

  You can try resetting Internet Explorer as follows - be aware that this will remove bookmarks and saved passwords etc

  The CD of HP usually have a scrubber on it which removes all traces of the HP software installed on your computer.

  The steps below

  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
  3 open the Util folder
  4 open the CCC folder
  5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.bat. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.bat
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
  7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
  8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  Once you uninstall everything that we need all reinstall. Because Windows 7 came out after that the printer was manufactored that not all CD come with Windows 7 drivers. I would recommend going back to the Windows 7 install I quoted above to reinstall once you have uninstalled everything.
