Message "Ink cartridge not HP" for F4580 All In One

I have had this printer for a few years. Computer system is Windows7. I have the connection USB or Wifi access. Bought new replacement XL60 black and color cartridges. Once installed, received message they were non hp cartridges. I bought them at BJ and they are exactly the same ones that I removed. The only difference is the 16-digit number printed on the face of the cartridge's plastic. I followed the link on the popup of the HP Solutions, and there is no resolution of this situation. The printer works well but I don't know if there will be consequences function-wise for the State of the non hp cartridges. I am located in New Jersey. The package notes "product of the Malaysia. I guess it is ligitimate.

Thank you for your response. A few days at the start of the printer, Center apparently recognized HP solutions HP cartridges and displays ink levels. The opinion of "non HP ink" had disappeared. Everything seems to work now. I guess it was just a one-time glich.

  • D110: Printer Destination does not exist - for D110 all-in-one

    This printer is connected via a Charter Communications wireless router wireless. Printing and scanning has been working well. 2 nights ago he stopped and we started getting the message "the destination printer does not exist" in the window of the printer.

    I am currently working on an iMac 10.6.8 running, but the same thing happened on a Macbook running the same.     I see you are having problems printing from Mac. I will definitely do my best to help you.

    Print a Network Configuration page to get the printer IPv4 address.

    Go to settings, wireless, print the Network Configuration Page.

    If you have a valid IPv4 address for the printer, then try and access the Web built-in to the printer server.
    Type the IP address in the address bar of your web browser. (Safari)

    It loads the page Web has?

    Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

    Close all applications.

    In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

    Double-click disk utility.

    Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

    Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

    Restart the computer...

    Reset the printing system:

    Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

    Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.

    Click on Printers & Scanners.

    Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

    Click OK to confirm the reset.

    Type the name and the correct password.

    Click OK to reset the printing system.

    Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

    If multicast is disabled on the router, you will not be able to add the printer as a Hello device.

    If you encounter network problems, and then add the printer via the IP protocol.

    I understand that you are unable to print with the magenta cartridge even after cleaning and aligning the print head.

    Thanks for the reply and the information

    I suggest you start as a result of this document for Troubleshooting print quality problems, should be able to help you to get black ink works again. If it isn't, you can also try manually cleaning your print head to make sure there isn't a buildup preventing out black ink.

    If the printer still won't print black ink, it is perhaps an accumulation inside the print head or on the beak and to help solve this problem, you can follow the instructions in Bob_Headrick in this post on soak your printhead.

    If after these three things, black is not always print, it's a hardware problem with the printer print head and I suggest to call HP Support and inquire about their exchanges of and the trade program.

They have confirmed that it is not valid and sought-after product number to another number. After 15 minutes, I was directed to the shipping department. The shipping department was very helpful, but could not give me the information I need.  Please, please, please, can someone give me a product for a black size cartridge number regular to adapt to the HP7520?  I have the XL size black cartridge, I need the ordinary black.  Thank you.

    The 'regular size black' is a photo, available in regular or XL capacity cartrdige.  The number of actual product will vary depending on the country in which you stand, but you can find the correct information site about HP SureSupply.

    Hi, if your problem is of poor print quality then its majority as ly the cause is very low levels in your color cartridges. Here is a link to a support document which takes you through a few steps of troubleshooting, but you should probably have cartridges on hand before you start, because it is one of the first suggestions, you will receive.

    I have a HP F4580 all-in-one printer/scanner that worked fine on my old laptop with windows vista.

    The laptop is dead now so I thought I would try Apple.

    Now I need to print some stuff for work, but it does not produce anything.

    It is connected via usb and has been implemented on the Mac through the Preferences system and printer & Scanners icon, but when you click on print the document that you want the small printer icon on the dock at the bottom, but the printer does not ever print anything!

    Anyone know what I could do wrong or if it unifies works through OSX.

    I would recommend to fix permissions of the drive on your computer by following this document Apple here. Once this operation is complete, make sure that your Apple updates are done by following this document Apple here.

    Now, I would reset the print on your computer system. Please follow this document Apple here. If your USB connection does not correctly, follow this document Apple to USB: Troubleshooting Error Messages. I will seek forward to hearing from you again!

    The Deskjet F4288 joined the printheads on the ink supply.  These are replaced at each change of cartrdige so there is no concern about printing empty color or black cartridges.

    You should be able to print in ink entry mode "backup" by removing color (or black, but not both) cartridges.  There will probably be a warning message about ink backup mode but you should be able to print and the printer will work regardless of the cartridge is available.  In handwritten backup with the only color black cartrdige mode areas will print in shades of gray.  If print ink backup mode only the installed color cartridge then black will be printed by mixing colors.

    See page 75 of the manual here, that says:

    Use the entry ink-backup mode
    Use ink-backup mode to operate the HP all-in-one with only one cartridge. The
    ink-backup mode begins when an ink cartridge is removed from the print cartridge
    transport. During the ink-backup mode, the product can only printing from the computer.
    You cannot start a print job from the control (such as copying or scanning a Panel
    original).

    NOTE: When the HP all-in-one device works in ink-backup mode, a message is
    displayed on the screen. If the message appears and two print cartridges are installed
    in the product, check that the piece of tape plastic protection has been removed
    each print cartridge. When the plastic strip covering the contacts of the print cartridge, the product
    cannot detect the cartridge is installed.

    For c310a all-in-one printer, how can I find the included OCR software that converts .docx, .rtf format? The current software Win7 64-bit v.14.4.0 seems only to analyze a 'document' in PDF format (or other type of image). Help files indicate the alleged ability to select the ".docx" or ".rtf" file formats, but it does not offer the software installed.

    Doing research on the software CD files and online help files. Anything will do, yet.
